Advanced Preview for the First 2 episodes
Runaway teen, Emma (Emma Dumont) has gone missing with her boyfriend, Rick (Beau Mirchoff). Later on, she doesn't where he is and decides to go with Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony) after struggling to find him. Manson welcomes Emma to his cult and brainwashes her with crazy things.
Meanwhile, Emma's mother (Michaela McManus) calls Detective Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) because her daughter is missing and asks him to find her. Later on, Brian Shafe (Grey Damon), gets arrested during protests. However, it seems that charges are dropped against him and he teams up with Hodiak to find her. He is an undercover officer.
In the second episode, Sam Hodiak and Brian Shafe investigate a murder where a hate crime took place. The suspect, Lefty (Gaius Charles from Friday Night Lights), who is a civil rights activist, is arrested but someone else close to the victim has more to do with the murder than him. This causes him to accuse the detectives especially Hodiak of racism. Meanwhile, the search for Emma continues and Charles Manson forces her father to get him a deal in the music industry.

Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ben. Glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteOh I want to watch this show too and missed David Duchovny
ReplyDeleteDefinitely being cancelled.
ReplyDeleteGeez you didn't even mention Claire Holt, is she even important or is she just there?
ReplyDeletegreat cast, awesome trailer waiting for the show to come on-air. But, since its going to broadcast only on NBC so only US resident will have the access to live coverage. I am not going to let anything take my fun time away. I have PureVPN to watch it live online
ReplyDeleteThanks for the episode rundowns. Looking forward to this!
ReplyDeleteI think she is one of the mains
ReplyDeleteShe has brief parts in the first 2 episodes but we see more of her in episode 3.
ReplyDeleteI'm semi-intrigued but I doubt I'll love it. I really hope there's no second season, I want Claire Holt back on The Originals, David available to do a second limited run of X-Files at any time (I'm like 90% sure there will be a follow up run), and Grey Damon on something else where I can enjoy his hotness.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's something
ReplyDeleteMy guess 0.9 for premier
