Whoa, I love this one. And I'm pretty sure the Terrigen crystals are coming into play because someone else is Inhuman (possibly Ward becoming Hellfire, the theory that's currently gaining traction and I am here for).
Last art of the season! Both arts this week have been so cool. Love that this one showcases the different story lines of season 2. Now Skye will have a touch choice to make.
Well Coulson is probably the most probable. If you remember he and Skye are the only ones that have Kree blood in their system, so to me he is the only obvious choice.
Coulson has Kree blood in him, there's an actual chance with him based on that fact alone, everyone else at this stage is just wishful thinking. All of this obviously is based on them being exposed to the mists, and more so if they are exposed to Jiaying's contaminated batch, then the humans will die but what will happen with Coulson is the real question.
Coulson is the most obvious choice unless Marvel wants to keep him strictly human while letting his part Kree blood go unexplored. There's so much they could do with that alone but they capped this story after he discovered his alien writting was a map to the city, and how curious that the alien map is in the art, another clue that Coulson will go through the mists, perhaps?
Well that is the strange thing, we don't know anything how the Kree blood works, from what we know everyone who had it had a connection to the temple and was going there by mapping the path, so in a way it has something to do with the Inhumans.
He can at least survive Jiaying's crystals unlike Gonzalez and any one else a regular human. I don't want anyone human exposed to those mists and watch them die horribly like Trip. Perhaps Fitz is the other candidate, considering he's the one who's been on Skye's side THE WHOLE TIME, encouraging her since this arc began. It could be that he was so understanding because subconsciously, he's inhuman too.
Yeah, but that mapping was never explored was it preparing them for the transformation or for something else. Yeah Skye had her gift within her, but that doesn't mean that the mapping wasn't part of the inhuman change.
I'm sure the first humans experimented on didn't have a predisposed immunity against the mists, unless I am missing something. They began as human as anyone until the Kree tampered with their biology. Coulson is different in that it was humans that messed with his biology using Kree biology. However little that may seem, it's still a big deal because the man came back from the dead because of GH325. That is some serious stuff right there.
Exactly, we don't really know because the writers quickly shelved that part of Coulson's arc to dive head first into inhuman territory through Skye. We still have unanswered questions concerning Coulson and the true implication of his resurrection.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
cool... Hunter looks strange though

ReplyDeleteLike Coulson sais in the promo "Skye will be caught up in the middle of this" and what Bell said isn't reassuring. but this art is really cool.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I love it.
ReplyDelete"Agents of SHIELD assemble". All of them in one poster..that's so cool...I'm freaking out...
If anyone is becoming Inhuman i'm going with Coulson.
ReplyDeleteAt this point I could handle a lot of things happening, but NOT Ward being an Inhuman.
ReplyDeleteand now you got skye caught in the middle which i rally like how this shows her in the middle of everything

ReplyDeleteIf he doesn't become inhuman with a gift, he will at least survive the mists.
ReplyDeletePlease no. He needs to just disappear.
ReplyDeleteAs she will engage May and Alisha she may really end up with Ward (also I think at the moment it is more likely that she will be back with the team).
ReplyDeleteI like that the show continues to place Ward in the Hydra camp despite some people claiming he never was.
ReplyDeleteI love how everyone has suggested a different person from the team becoming Inhuman. I've seen Ward (which I agree), May, Jemma, and now Coulson. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it.
ReplyDeleteGreat art, but I have to say I like yesterdays one better.
ReplyDeleteWell Coulson is probably the most probable. If you remember he and Skye are the only ones that have Kree blood in their system, so to me he is the only obvious choice.
ReplyDeleteWard or the Team?

ReplyDeleteBut Coulson reacted on the blood in his system, Skye not, so I think he is "normal".
ReplyDeleteThere's also this weird Tweet from someone working on the SHIELD comics that points to something going down with Ward

I say both really. She really just needs to leave both sides and just go off on her own for a little bit.

ReplyDeleteThat could be Marvel deciding not to add Ward to 616. Skye's already there as Daisy but who knows.
ReplyDeleteCan you actually give the link here?
ReplyDeleteNope, it shows up as the Tweet itself. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteI like this one. I hope Ward isn't an Inhuman. That would come out of nowhere. Same thing for the rest of the main characters, except perhaps Coulson.
ReplyDeleteNo i mean the actual tweet link from which they are hinting it.

ReplyDeleteEvery human was mapping, the only exception was Skye and as Simmons said the basics for her gift were already within her system.
ReplyDeleteAmen his arc is losing steam
ReplyDeleteAlso, this show loves the hell out of this foreshadowing AND THE LOOK AT THE GIANT WALL OF FIRE HEADING THEIR WAY

So something's going down and I am absolutely convinced of the Hellfire!Ward theory.
Yeah, but that mapping was never explored was it preparing them for the transformation or for something else. Yeah Skye had her gift within her, but that doesn't mean that the mapping wasn't part of the inhuman change.

ReplyDeleteTerrigen bomb yess someone is inhuman that's for sure
ReplyDeleteIf its ward I will scoff vampire diaries ala ward Skye Lincoln barf!

ReplyDeleteI hope the episode is as beaufully though heartbreakingly written as the posters were made.
