  1. Finally! Felt like we waited forever for this. And Jemma clearly needs some help dealing with everything so I hope she gets it.

  2. Sadly he may be right, even though that damage was already caused before.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Increasingly believing the theory that Bobbi told Hydra where Kara's safe house was and the whole Ward/Kara plan was to get Kara back to Shield for revenge. Note I don't think Bobbi did this to hurt Kara but because she had to give Hydra solid info in order to maintain her cover and mission. I am basically so tense watching any Kara scenes now.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I really like Lincoln hope he'll become a regular. I used to ship Ward and Skye but now it changed. After everything that Ward has done I don't think Skye could trust him, forgive maybe but not trust.

    ReplyDelete
  5. So Kara is finally completely free of the Hydra brainwashing!

The fact that Bakshi is mentioned in the clip makes me hopeful that they will deal with Jemma killing a person.

Lincoln is still as boring as limp noodles.

    ReplyDelete
  6. What. None of that makes any sense at all. None of it. Bobbi wouldn't do that to a friend; Hydra just sucks. Where did this theory even come from because I haven't seen it until now?

And Ward left Kara with SHIELD so she could get help. That's all.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yh lou doesn't make sens. However kara i believe is left to viewer interpretation, maybe in the future if they decided to keep Ward a wildcard they may show that she was planted in coulsons shield by Ward. Then again coulson is vigilant so he will put her through questioning (off screen) etc before even letting her on his team.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I think the opposite tbh, they all may trust him in the future accepting hes changed into a good man if he keeps helping them. However they wont forgive him for what he did. All those people he took out and not to mention dropping fitzsimmons out of a plane

    ReplyDelete
  9. It will be interesting to see what happens when Skye and Lincoln try to leave. I'm not sure I trust Kara. She could be out for revenge.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm not going to get into this again because LOL, it's been the same argument for over a year and I'm over it but if Ward hadn't dropped FitzSimmons out of a pod that was supposed to float (per Fitz), Garrett or another Hydra agent would have killed them for sure. And then because he's an abuser, Garrett also would have punished Ward. It was the best worst idea to save them.

Still going to need him to apologize to all of them, especially FitzSimmons, soon though.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It would be a really crappy use of Kara, making her "bad" after she's been the victim of brainwashing this season.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I don't know why but Kara being all good about it doesn't make me feel good about her, I'm sure that Ward has a contingency plan (like she's his "man" in the inside). I'm so nervous about that episode especially if SHIELD is gonna after "Afterlife".

    ReplyDelete
  13. Good point thats why im hoping Wards concern and care for her is genuine and not for his own ulterior motives

    ReplyDelete
  14. I agree and i loved the bit when Ward said his actions destroyed "this" as in the team but annoyed when he said he didnt regret dropping fitzsimmons out of the plane. Then again if he didnt regret it cause he wanted to save them from Garret which he told fitz earlier this season he should have said so. Also for everyone yh he may have dropped them out of the plane to save them but Ward bought them on the plane in the first place remember! When he bought them he knew they would never work for hydra so they were as good as dead. What did he think garret would do watcha disney movie with them? They were hidden in a shed or something ward boughtthem on the plane

    ReplyDelete
  15. Besides fitzsimmons Also dont forget He kiled countless other innocent people

    ReplyDelete
  16. No, he regretted its - he regrets everything he listed - but he regrets betraying the team "the most". I've watched that scene several times and that's exactly what he says.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm happy Kara's mind is her own again but I don't trust her (which saddens me) or Ward (he can rot). Poor Lincoln, he's right. "Real" SHIELD is going after Afterlife. This is about to get ugly fast.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Jed says he genuinely cares about her in this Variety interview http://variety.com/2015/tv/news/agents-of-shield-avengers-age-of-ultron-crossover-maria-hill-cameo-1201482909/

    ReplyDelete
  19. I also like Lincoln, even if he's boring. I'll take his boring behind over Ward's traitorous behind any day of the week.

    ReplyDelete
  20. He didn't have to bring them onto the Bus to begin with. He made that choice knowing what Garrett would do.

    ReplyDelete
  21. This is the last episode before the finale, we're certainly overdue for a Lincoln backstory. Wouldn't surprise me if it's interwined with Jiyaing's own, he seems so much loyal to her for no apparent reason that I get the feeling he may very well have been like a surrogate son to her, her way to cope with the hole Skye/Daisy's disappearance left in her heart.

    ReplyDelete
  22. See, I want my TV to be interesting...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Not saying this is better, but Garrett didn't want to kill FitzSimmons until Fitz shorted him out and pissed him off. The intent was to get them to work for Hydra.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It would. This show continues doing its own thing. It's where hope and dream go to die, so I'm expecting Kara to betray SHIELD of her own choice this time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Finally! They will let them go but will track them. You can see Coulson face when she leaves. Its their plan. They will find afterlife and Skye will be pissed at Shield. I just don't know why Gordon takes Raina to the ship. Lincoln and the red head girl will be on the ship on the finale so i guess they fight back. Skye will be backed into a corner to pick a side. The fact Coulson will play her won't sit well with her. He will probably want to monitor but Gonzales will attack. Can't wait.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I prefer mine without the likes of Ward as entertainment.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It would be nice to learn something about him that's interesting.

BTW, if Lincoln is a pre med student, where is he studying?

    ReplyDelete
  28. University of Phoenix Online --- the perfect university for Afterlife!

    ReplyDelete
  29. They will let them so they can track them back to afterlife. That's how they find the place. The worst part is that Skye won't see it coming because she trust Coulson. You can see on the promo she says they are good and she and Lincoln are leaving but Coulson face is "i am doing whats needs to be done". Right after you see they have the map with afterlife on the screen and of course Gonzales wants to attack. I feel bad for Skye. She will be pissed at Shield but the inhumans will be pissed at her.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't think this makes FitzSimmons feel any better about what Ward did to them. He didn't have to do what he did. He had better options than dropping them in the middle of the ocean with no clear idea of any rescue. Had Fitz been knocked out so he couldn't find means to save Simmons or had Simmons not swam fast enough or had Fury not shown up in the nick of time, they'd be very dead right now. Ward had no way of knowing any of this. His supposition based on "it's better than a gun shot to the head" when they were running away from him is flimsy at best. He wasn't giving them a fighting chance he was making their death slow and painful, but how humane of him.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I hope to learn more about him. By what he has been saying and the finale pics you can see he will defend afterlife and the inhumans with his life. He will probably be willing to go extreme measures against Shield and humans. This is probably why Skye will be surprised/pissed at him. He will reveal a side of him we haven't seen yet.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The sad reality is that Lincoln is right, Shield is going to hunt them and attack Afterlife in some form. We know this from the Promo, so like he told Skye in the Afterlife episode, she has brought an end to the way of life that the Inhumans have had, how they move forward is another question of course, but I can see the Inhumans blaming Skye for anything Shield does from here on, maybe leading to her leaving the Inhumans?

I'm disappointed that Jemma is still taking the fact that Skye isn't telling her everything so personnally, hello she's now on a base run by the people that tried to KILL her, of course she's not saying much. If it was still Coulson in charge things would be different, but Jemma has to see things from Skye's point of view.

I'm still concerned about how the Skye/May relationship is going to be affected by May working with Gonzales (particularly as I expect his interaction with Skye to be as blunt as the entire Shield 2.0 storyline has been), and there's a good chance the Coulson/Skye relationship doesn't come out of this unchanged as well (maybe that will be in the last 2 episodes but it's building I think).

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah, pretty much agree with you there, which is why I think plenty of relationships are going to end up in pieces by the end of the season...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think they are about to reveal more about Lincoln. I just hope they don't make him be all bad so they can bring Ward back to save everybody.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Honestly, I hope it doesn't go this far. Still believe the cargo in the ship is Katya Belyakov, the inhumans rescue her to their mistake and both SHIELD and Inhumans have to team up to stop her. That'd allow them to find a common ground and accept each other.

    ReplyDelete
  36. If that was the case, Skye's transformation wouldn't have been such a surprise/unknown to Coulson. There would be information in the Toolbox about Inhumans. From what Jemma said their DNA is pretty unique (which begs the question why that wasn't in the Toolbox), and would have at least given Coulson an idea on where to start dealing with Skye.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Maybe he shouldn't have take Fitzsimmons to the plane in the first place. After all, he knew Garret too well. There was no way out. Garret would want him to kill them. Dropping them to the ocean hoping for the best is another excuse To justify what he did. If he cared about them he should have let them go not bring them to Garrett in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  38. lincoln's very John Young from the Tomorrow People, and lincoln SHIELD'S not Hydra

    ReplyDelete
  39. And yet from the Promo we know that Quinnjets are sent to Afterlife, COULSON's SHIELD isn't Hydra, GONZALES's SHIELD...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Also after he was free of his abuser. What's the excuse after Garret was dead? Ward's fans need to accept him for what he is and stop finding excuses for everything he does.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think it's pretty well established that there are things Coulson keeps from the whole team and only Hill and Fury are privy of. Also, Katya is insane and dangerous enough to be a worthy source of information, Fury is ruthless but he's not crazy to risk someone like her get loose for the sake of scientific research, that's HYDRA's thing not SHIELD's.

    ReplyDelete
  42. so you think the Quinjets are Gonzales' not Coulson's?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I wouldn't tell Jemma anything, Skye is right for keeping this to herself.

I hate that Skye will be blamed for SHIELD coming after Afterlife when it's Cal's fault and Ward's for kidnapping her off the Bus. She didn't want any of this and now people may lose lives because of decisions made by others but nobody's going to care because Skye is intricately linked to SHIELD and SHIELD are bad guys when it comes to those enhanced.

Everything is going to hell in a basket. Lines will be drawn and some will be crossed and this may change things yet again, for our team, just like TWS Hydra reveal did. We are lloking to CA:Civil War and no way SHIELD is free of that arc and the consequences thereof. I am genuinely scared.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Not disagreeing that Coulson has kept things from people, whay I'm saying is that even he appeared to have no idea on what was happening to Skye and what it meant. If Shield had another Inhuman (leaving the question of why the other's woiuld let them keep an Inhuman) then there would have been some information that he would have. From what we have seen he was as in the dark as anyone else on what Skye was and what she was going through.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Fake SHIELD right? not Coulson's SHIELD?

    ReplyDelete
  46. NO! i WANT it to be free, but there's no way right?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Don't you think this is a problem? How can he not regret the most the fact he almost killed his friends? Ward approach the situation all wrong this is why they all reacted the way they did. He didn't apologize once and made jokes and jabs at May. He is sorry but doesn't show. This is why nobody will ever believe him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think it's fake/"real" SHIELD. Coulson will probably try and save them. I don't think he and Gonzalez see things eye to eye. I'm hoping that is what he's implying in the promo, those jets are for rescue, not an attack.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think Coulson isn't in charge (no way he gets it back this quickly) so Gonzales is still driving the agenda. Coulson as director might have been williing to talk to Skye and use her as an ambassador with the Inhumans, Gonzales as he's been protrayed so far is just going to go for the blunt force appraoch, "find the Inhumans and reduce the threat"

    ReplyDelete
  50. Whitehall had Jiaying prisoner and mercilessly experimented on her and still had no idea about the Inhumans as a race and their inner workings, I don't think it's terribly reaching for Coulson to have no idea about Skye's transformations despite SHIELD having an Inhuman in custody all this time.

    ReplyDelete
  51. God i REALLY hope so!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Of course the other bit, is when does AoU start in the episode, we know that Skye's been in with Lincoln for "days" s depending on how long it took the Avengers to go after Hydra, there's only a few more days until robots start tearing up the planet...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yes, THE Katya. The finale synopsy talks about a war that blurs the line between friend and foe and Lincoln looks to be uncharacteristically blank and mean in this picture, with the redhead looking at him with evil glee, both heavily hint at being the very Katya Belyakov that May supposedly killed in Bahrain:

    http://i.imgur.com/Pb7cFbr.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  54. You're right, Coulson's still not in charge. This committe and putting things to a vote is complete BS if all they are doing is doing what Gonzalez wants, what's safe for them and not the general population. It's time Coulson takes down "real" SHIELD. This is not what Fury had in mind when he wanted SHIELD rebuilt from the Hydra ashes. Gonzalez is truly Hydra light.

    ReplyDelete
  55. That would just be carp weve had enough betrayals in this show

    ReplyDelete
  56. Exactly what i said

    ReplyDelete
  57. It is truly getting overused. I mean can't Jemma understand that Skye's not comfortable discussing things when the people that tried to KILL her are in charge...

    ReplyDelete
  58. WHOA! that'd be insane i don't trust lincoln so he might be doing that out of his free will

    ReplyDelete
  59. Exactly, right now it makes sense for Skye to be staying quiet. If it was Coulson in charge things would be different but why should she trust "Real Shield"?

I really start to think there's no way Skye's relationships with the team stay the same after what's coming? :(

    ReplyDelete
  60. It's possible. Remember what Bakshi said when she was interrogating him? She did awful things to get inside hydra. Until the finale we won't be sure if the reason Ward gave her back to Shield is only for her to reconnect with her past or there is something else. Look what they did to Bakshi to get revenge. Ward killed his brother so he could get revenge and move on. This is how he see it moving on. Its totally possible their plan for her to get "whole" is to kill the person responsible for her to get capture in the first place. Bobbi as head of security at Hydra at the time could be that person. Maybe he did it for her but this show have surprised us before so his fans shouldn't be so sure until the finale is over or they could get burned, again.

    ReplyDelete
  61. They had but expect a few more until the season is over. After all the finale is lines get blur between friends and foe so yeah, more and more betrayal. This is their surprise factor.

    ReplyDelete
  62. He does, but you can't blame people for not believing. This season has deliberately written Ward with ambiguity in mind, they wanted us to question whether he was sincere or not because they don't want redemption to come easy for him and thankfully so. I believe it was always the plan to end the ambiguity in the finale, when he'll have to risk everything to save the life of the one person he loves and that may still care for him: his brother Thomas. And before people who didn't notice me speculating earlier ask, that's who I think Lincoln really is.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes but that was because Hydra didn't get their hands on another one. As soon as he figured out who Skye was he wanted to experiment on her. What I'm saying is that from what Jemma has said the Inhuman DNA is very noticable. If Shield had another one of them then something would have been in the Toolbox, something for Coulson to say "Oh this is what she is". Coulson seems to know what is in the Cargo Hold, if it's another Inhuman then I don't see how his previous reactions hold up tbh...

    ReplyDelete
  64. You're right I didn't trust Gonzales before and now even more (I never trust that stupid vote thing, like Gonzales would listen to the others and do what "the majority" wants) and when Coulson find out that he has a secret ugh. And I'm so scared that Skye would loose her faith in SHIELD (Coulson's one).

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hmmm, an online medical degree...? But yeah hope he didn't have any exams/projects due before Skye turned up...

    ReplyDelete
  66. so if Gonzales didn't cause a coup, everything would've been fine?

    ReplyDelete
  67. I just don't think Fury would want to keep her in a ship and then want to sink but Gonzales who feels so strongly about enhanced people would keep someone so dangerour as her on his cargo. The red head is on this episode at afterlife. You can see her on the promo. How was she at the ship then afterlife? Her and Lincoln are on the ship only on the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yeah, to me for example the whole issue around going after Skye at the cabin... The two agents we saw discharge weapons weren't ICER's, did Gonzales give an order and just didn't tell Bobbi? Not too mention how he played the "vote" to get enhanced people...

But the way things are going with suggestions of Shield turning up in force in Afterlife, the feeling of Skye losing faith in Shield keeps growing on me. I can really see her giving up her badge and walking away at the end of the season (along with losing connections to the Inhumans for "destroying their way of life" which sadly we know is going to happen)

    ReplyDelete
  69. It's possible the May joke was part of a defensive mechanism of his to cope with the rejection, the guy indeed has serious issues in social skills which make him seem to be a sociopath. I do believe he wants to connect with people but doesn't quite know how and his past mistakes put a serious wrench in all attempts he makes to, with reason admittedly. Not speaking strictly of Skyeward - don't quite believe they'll end up together by the series' end given past experience with Whedon shows -, but more generally as friends and family.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I thought my crack "Skye and Lincoln are half-siblings" theory was off the wall but didn't expect the "Lincoln is Thomas" one. That'd definitely be an interesting twist and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

    ReplyDelete
  71. If Katya was on Gonzales ship he would have killed her a long time ago. He is willing to put Skye down because she is dangerous imagine Katya.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Make him "seem" to be a sociopath??? Really only Seems to be...

    ReplyDelete
  73. Exactly, hell why would Fury take the risk of a Gifted that had taken over a whole building of people, getting control of an entire nuclear Carrier worth of people. Katya by all margins was a Gifted that was too dangerous for Shield to keep alive.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Admittedly I'm not the most perceptive person to recognize faces, but if the redhead is the stuntwoman turned actress Alicia Vela-Bailey then she's listed in the guest list for "Scars", expect to see her next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Well, Fury wasn't fully in control of SHIELD as he thought he was, wasn't he? Those were the times of SHYDRA.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yeah exacltly, I'm so scared that she would come back the way she was before Coulson took her in (alone with no family) and the only person she would turn to is Ward.

Btw when Bobbi said "I think we should discuss this" pissed me off I was like "keep talking while Hydra keeps getting stronger" ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Given how she talked to him I'm hopedul that isn't the case. Remember she was alone with no major skills (outside of hacking) before. Now as we've seen she's a Bad Ass agent who can hold her own. Though I think she's going to get majorly emotionally hurt no matter how it ends.

And yes, while Bobbi is showing that she's losing faith in Gonzales (both the fact that she wasn't allowed to go on the mission and the whole Skye situation), the talking at some point does have to stop.

Does Andrew still have another episode to turn up in? I thought when they were talking about him pre 2B they said he had 3 episodes?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ok, I might have softened this a little too much. What I mean is, both Christian and Garrett groomed him to be a sociopath, yes, but deep down he doesn't want to be this, he wants to reconnect with people but has been incapable so far both because of the obvious lack of social skills and his past mistakes. Well deserved, mind you.

    ReplyDelete
  79. But he did konw about the Cargo. That's why he sent Bobbi to sink the carrier. So I don't think that hangs together either. Either he knew about whatever it is (hence having an entire plan in place to deal with the carrier) or he didn't (in which case whyin the middle of things falling apart go to the trouble of sending Bobbi after it).

Besides which given Gonzales approach to Gufted, would you really put somebody like that in charge of something that feeds off pain?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Maybe Pierce convinced him that it was best to keep her alive for reasons, who knows? That guy was a cunning snake.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I'm still stuned and surprislly amazed by her and by Chloe's performance. I love her realationship with Coulson.

I think that's why she's gonna leave'for the spin off) because she'll no longer feel in the same page with them.

Yeah I think he still has an episode.

    ReplyDelete
  82. It just doesn't feel like it holds together. If she's alive the May's entire life after that event is just terrible. Her life, her marriage, her very sense of self shattered for nothing? There's no way they could drop such a bombshell in the last 3 episodes and deal with it correctly (along with all the other issues in play), not after giving an entire episode on what made her what she is.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I've loved her in the show (and will miss her and Blood) and I've said before Chloe's acting has just simply transformed from the pilot to where she is now.

As I've said I really want a scene with Bobbi and Skye to talk about things (you know it would be good), I was hoping that Skye would have a scene with just the original team to explain everything but given Jemma's comments (which annoy me) I don't see that happening now.

If he has an episode I wonder how it will play out? Talking to May and Coulson? Talking to Skye? To Jemma?

    ReplyDelete
  84. This is what theyy are teasing us. Their relationship will change again. I see her relationship changing especially with May and Coulson. At first i thought she would side with Shield but with everything happening i can't see it anymore. Much less with the inhumans blaming her for everything. So she will be on her own for awhile? Now the question is where Jiaying will be? will she stay with the inhuamns or her daughter? i think Cal will die and Gonzales as well.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Well, they have to leave threads for the next season, don't they?

    ReplyDelete
  86. You have some intersting theories with Lincoln being being Thomas and the red head being Katya. I can understand the Lincoln one but the Kathya not so much. We will be getting answers soon.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Yeah, I've had this feeling since we learned that Jiaying was alive that Skye was going to end up alone. You can just see the scene of Coulson finding her badge and the impact it would have...

Jiaying, I just don't know, since she's the stable one of her parents as long as she's around Skye is goin to be tied heavily to her I think. Cal is easier to have still alive but with no contact with Skye (particularly is he goes full Hyde), thus allowing Skye to remain in Shield. Whereas with Jiaying, short of the Inhumans banishing Skye for what is going to happen, there's always going to be the whole "my mum is immortal and I'm just poping off to see her" angle.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well it's the writers's job to play with what we love, saddly.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I know and they've handled with bits that I thought they were going to fall flat on, but given how that relationship has been a core part of the show, damaging it is going to hurt. But at this stage I just don't see how they handle things without it ending up that way :(

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well, I hope I'm right at least in one, I've had a dozen this season that didn't pan out! :D

    ReplyDelete
  91. I think we've all had that so far. If it's one thing the show is good at it's not taking the obivious route to things.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yes but they're doing a terrefic job, it's because the show is giving us those feelings that makes it so good and I really love what they're doing.

    ReplyDelete
  93. No,Gonzales' coup just speeded everything up. The very moment Gordon took Skye it was forseeable that also SHIELD under Coulson's lead would search her at all cost, as his actions have shown during the last episodes. You have to remember that Coulson already saw Gordon and knew that there are more Deviners out there.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Oh sure, not denying that. But somethings are getting overplayed. The level of mistrust that surrounds the original team members between each other at this stage is getting too much I think. And it's only going to get worse (Skye finding out May is on the "board", Shield going after Afterlife, May finding out that Coulson was running a side Op for the Avengers (in so many ways), Jemma killing Bacshi...)

At the rate they are going there isn't going to be any relationships left standing at the end of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I think this is their goals. They destroy every relationship they can. So on season 3 they will all need to start over from the begining.

    ReplyDelete
  96. You're right, Skye had to go to the Inhumans, and from the moment she was changed in 2.10 Shield and the Inhumans were on course to meet. The only difference between Gonzales being in charge and Coulson is that I could see Coulson being more open to a peaceful engagement. He's more knowledgable about Powered people, Gonzales already said that, he would be more open to learning first (without question putting together plans for a worse case situation) before acting. Whereas with Gonzales everything we've seen suggests he's going to act first assuming the worse case situation with the Inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Kara will remember something Bobbi did while undercover, probably something bad (to her) considering she was head of security. She didn't know she had very dark hair. She looked surprised when Simmons revealed this to her. Looking at the way Ward helped her deal with Bakshi she might get herself into trouble if she goes after Bobbi. I can see this being how Ward gets back into play.

    ReplyDelete
  98. A distinct possibilty alright, from what Bakshi said and Bobbi's reaction she did have to get her hands dirty doing something for Hydra. Maybe she leaked Kara's safe house without knowing Kara would be there? Or saw her being captured and didn't stop Hydra?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Maybe so, but if one of Skye's parents get's killed in the last few episodes I don't see how her relationship with Shield gets rebuilt. Skye has been invested in finding them long before Shield, and Jiaying at least seems to be everything she hoped for. How do they start over if Skye ends up being the punching bag for both Shield and the Inhumans in how this plays out?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Yeah, the contact would be more peaceful, but the secret would be disclosed too. As Coulson already set Skye on the index I doubt he would hide a complete superpowered society. One way or another that all is a perfect set up not only for "Civil War" but also fo "Infinity War" with the T-Bomb coming.

  101. It's exactly what i'm thinking. She needed to prove herself to get inside Hydra, giving in the location of one Shield agent and helping to capture her could have been it. Bobbi looked very concern for her. It would be a nice comeback to episode 7 and her interrogation on Bakshi. If it's the case should be revealed on the next episode. Kara will want revenge the same way they did to Bakshi. She would get herself in trouble since she in a Shield base and we know she won't succeed whatever she tries since Bobbi will go to the spin off.

  102. If it's Jiaying dying then i agree but i think will be Cal and i know she started to understand him but you can see her priority still is people safety. This is why she called May to make sure he didn't hurt anyone. She also wanted him to be safe but if he loses completely and go full Mr Hyde and hurt people, her friends, i think she will understand he needs to be controled/killed. He is not an angel she knows that. I just say her relationship will rebuild because we know Daisy always has been a Shield agent so somehow at some point she would be back.

Guys I thought this was resolved when Gonzales gave May the loaded gun and earned some of her trust. There is no fake, faux, almost or real SHIELD. There is ONLY just SHIELD. They are all on the same team. One SHIELD, one team with various high ranking officers that don't all have the same opinion. Get it? Capisce? Let it go.

  104. I'm pretty sure it's not her. That's another woman that should have the ability of multiplying herself. I think Skye is supposed to fight her.

    ReplyDelete
  105. If she was a stunt woman, then I think that further makes me believe that she is the woman Skye fights at some point who can multiply herself. I read an article that Skye was supposed to fight Inhumans and have trouble doing it because the woman can multiply.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I think you're right but I don't think that the show will scrap Skye's connection to the Inhumans by now as they still have to play a much bigger role in the MCU. With "CIvil War" coming at the end of next season I can see Skye beeing torn between SHIELD and the Inhumans during the hole S3 and depending on the outcome beyond that.

    ReplyDelete
  107. That's true but isn't a majority of this Raina's fault? She manipulate Gordon and Skye to go rescue Lincoln. She went in the ancient city to release the terrigen crystals. Skye was just there whenever Raina did something

    ReplyDelete
  108. I doubt that the Inhumans will portrayed as Villains as they will have to play their role in the upcoming movies.

    ReplyDelete
  109. But Skye is the Shield Agent. If she and Raina were just random Inhuman's being transformed then it wouldn't matter, it's her connection to an agency that is mandated to dealwith Gifted among other things that's the issue.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I wouldn't be surprised if Raina has a vision that she uses to get the Inhumans to attack SHIELD.

  111. Andrew is in "S.O.S. Part 2" according to the press release.

  112. As much as I don't enjoy defending Ward, I don't think Kara has been planted by him in SHIELD to cause trouble. Right now he's on his own side only, so he has no real reason to try to take down SHIELD. The only thing he might still care about in regards to SHIELD is his neverending journey to get in Skye's pants (he seems to have gotten the hint that it's not going to happen, but you never know), and planting Kara there isn't going to help with that.

Truthfully, I think bringing Kara back to SHIELD is the first genuinely good, selfless thing Ward has done. Now, if he stays the hell away from that place and these people and starts to make amends elsewhere, there might be hope for his redemption yet.

    ReplyDelete
  113. That is one thing that's definitely felt like a plot hole to me. I thought med students (and interns) barely have time to sleep, never mind hanging out in mystical places with other people who have powers (and guiding them) for days on end.

If he DID have any exams or projects due, I bet "Hydra kidnapped me" is one excuse that professer had never heard before. Thankfully, Lincoln can threaten to zap him/her if he doesn't get an extension. :)

    ReplyDelete
  114. Yeah, it may seem like a crazy twist but there is just something off about Kara's return and her conversation with Bobbi. There is something bigger going on IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I've read the theory on a couple of places, Tumblr and Reddit. I just feel like there is something bigger on going between Bobbi and Kara and their time in Hydra. I don't think Bobbi would do anything to deliberately hurt Kara but sometimes the mission is all that matters and she may have had to sell Kara out for that.

    ReplyDelete
  116. THIS. I've said this a hundred times, and the Ward apologists just make up some shitty excuse or ignore it altogther (I quote the person you replied to: "Someone clearly spotted [FitzSimmons] so [Ward] went to get there" - I'm not even kidding).

Even IF you're crazy enough to believe that Ward somehow attempted to "save" them when the impact of the pod hitting the water could've easily killed them, and even if the pod floated like Ward supposedly believed it would, they'd still be stuck in the middle of the ocean with no rescue - it doesn't change the fact that they were only in that position because WARD captured them and took them to the Bus.

I don't give a shit how deeply loyal to Garrett Ward was. If he was a good person, he would've looked the other way and let FitzSimmons escape. It's not as if Garrett would've even known they had been there and been angry at Ward for covering for them.

    ReplyDelete
  117. And what do you think would've happened if they had refused? Garrett would've sighed in disappointment, given them his card and told them to go home and call him if they ever change their minds?

    ReplyDelete
  118. I agree that Skye could process his loss better than Jiaying's, my concern however is that it's easier in te long run to keep him around and explain why Skye is still a Shield agent then Jiaying. A dangerous Gifted that has anger issues is entirely different to an immortal Inhuman. If Jiaying lives Skye will remain conflicted in her loyalities whereas with Cal still being around she won't be.

I just have this growin bad feeling thi is how they are going to play it out.

    ReplyDelete
  119. No I doubt he would hide them, but at the same time he would be more willing to recognise them as a society (and most like realise if they did had evil intent they could have acted on them long before Shield or the SSR came to be). Compared to Coulson, Gonzales is a blunt force, he's seeing them only as the threat they could be (and I'm betting will be in response to Shield's actions).

    ReplyDelete
  120. Even if she didn't help capture her, she could have just not helped save her, either way yeah it would be a very nice tie back to 2.07 and leave her more exposed to the rest of Shield (how would Hunter, May, Jemma react to finding out Bobbi had a hand in Kara's fate?)

    ReplyDelete
  121. If I was Ward, from the minute Coulson made him work with him and until I got away in the end, I would simply shut the fvck up unless spoken to. I wouldn't smugly ask "So Fitz, how ya been?", or smugly comment on how I slept with May, or smugly marvel at how "We finally got the team back together", or try to defend my actions by saying "We've all made mistakes" (well, yeah, they did, but compared to Ward's mistakes, everyone else's is more along the line of spilling coffee on someone...). He just doesn't get it. So far, the one and only thing he's done that would suggest the possibility of redemption is bringing Kara back to SHIELD, in my opinion. Everything else has had some selfish motivation or another behind it (all the intel he gave SHIELD in the beginning of the season was to rope Skye into those little chats with him, for example, or else he would've been willing to give it to Coulson).

    ReplyDelete
  122. I think the connection will be much more limited than what we've seen so far. Get the feeling that she is going to be blamed for Shield turning up. The reality is that something is going t happen that will force her out of Afterlife (and maybe Shield) with the first few episodes of next season dealing with the fallout imo

    ReplyDelete
  123. Yeah, the "evil organisation kidnapped me to experiment on me, then another Superpowered person saved me but took me to the still illegal Secret Agency". Got to say it's unique, certainly better than "my dog ate it".

    ReplyDelete
  124. Oh missed that thanks, now I just have to spend the time guessing how that will play out along with everything else ;)

    ReplyDelete
  125. Olmost SHIELD, from the looks of it, isn't going to be any kinder towards Inhumans than Hydra, and Lincoln has no idea about the inner fracture inside SHIELD and that people like Coulson don't share Gonzales' attitude. So yeah, from his perspective. SHIELD = Hydra = bad news for Inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  126. The gun Gonzales gave May was empty. As she said in reply, he wasn't stupid enough to hand her a loaded one and gamble his LIFE on her being reasonable enough not to shoot him. (Mind you, thinking that a highly-trained field agent like May wouldn't be able to TELL a gun is empty simply by picking it up is pretty stupid in itself.)

    ReplyDelete
  127. That's the thing, hell we don't even know from this snippet whether Skye is aware of the situation in Shield right now. She's basing her comments on Coulosn's management, she doesn't know the current boss doesn't even consider her human, let alone an agent. Lincoln isn't wrong (besides which for somebody whose lived with hiding all his life, even if it was Coulson in charge he'd be freaked).

    ReplyDelete
  128. Thought it was loaded HAve to go back and watch the episode. But yeah there is still division within Shield (hell with Furry back in the Helicarrier business, you could claim there's another Shield around.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I've said before that even if I don't feel strongly about the SkyeLinc ship (I rarely do about ANY ship in this type of show), just the fact that it would prevent SkyeWard from happening is enough for me to support it.

Lincoln has been a bland nice guy so far, yeah, but he's only been in 4 episodes so far and barely had any screen time in the most recent one. He may well gain more layers as a character over time, although he has to survive the season first, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  130. If Jiaying dies because of Sheild i think it wouldn't matter if Cal is alive or not. Skye is getting to know her if she dies will have a huge impact on her and i don't see her being with Shield anymore. I guess i am more hoping than anything. I like Jiaying and would like to see her around more. I think she can play an important role on season 3 where the tensions between inhumans and humans will rise. She is not straight up bad person so would interesting having her going into civil war storyline. They just brought her back. I'm not even sure how they would kill her. She isn't not imortal but she survived being dissected. I think Cal is easier to kill. I think she will process better and will keep the conflict going into season 3.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I've seen quite a few people suggest that Ward's comments to Fitz, May and others are the result of a lack of social skills, but I have to say, that theory seems problematic to me. It's not like Ward has spent his entire life in isolation or something - only the 5 years in the woods after Garrett sprung him from juvie. Before that, yes, he was an abused child, but I'm pretty sure his parents didn't keep him locked up in the house or anything. He went to school and had interactions with other (normal) kids. And after he joined Hydra and got planted inside SHIELD, he spent the next 10 years working around and interacting with people as part of his cover. You'd think that would be enough time for him to learn some tact and how to properly navigate social situations. Granted, as these situations go, hanging out with the people you betrayed and nearly killed is a pretty difficult one... but it wouldn't have taken great wisdom to just know to shut up.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I guess not well but they are part of a spy organization. Those sacrifice have to be made. Coulson wanted Bobbi to infiltrate Hydra she wouldn't succeed by petting puppies. The whole point was to protect Simmons. It's not ok but its collateral damage that will play a emotional part show.

The gun was not empty. May slid the gun back to him across the desk and he without saying anything removed the loaded clip and then made a point of pulling the slide back ejecting the live round that was in the chamber. It bounced off the table to floor. May then smirked at Gonzales and nodded. You're going to need to go back to rewatch that scene again if you don't want to take my word for it. The gun was loaded and Gonzales "stuck it" to May.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I have this really bad feeling that she is, and that it will only be afterwards that Skye tells the team that she's her Mother (you can just see how they would react). I just feel that her continued presence (even though you've raised good points) is too much of a weight on Skye's storyline. And I'm nt sure she isn't immortal, apart from surviving Whitehall, she must be at least as old as Captain America without the whole freezing thing. If she has that level of Cell regeneration she is for all intents I think.

Skye has already pointed out her long term issues with never having a home, as long as Jiaying is around Skye does, which is why I see her dying, the other Elders holding Skye responsible for everything and forcing her from Afterlife (presuming they don't abandon it) and Skye blaming Shield...

Either that or the Inhumans retreat to some other hidden areas and make it clear Skye can't be part of them until she cuts all ties with Shield...

    ReplyDelete
  135. Would Hunter? It's clear from the conversation he had with Mack that while he accepts what Mack did, he still has issues with Bobbi. Finding out she handed another agent over to Hydra?

    ReplyDelete
  136. She is aware they went full hunting mode on her. Maybe she doesn't know the details of the whole take over but she knows something is going on. I imagine she will hope Coulson will do the right thing but how much power Coulson really has? He was taking down as a director but even if he is in charge Skye needs to be awre he has decisions to make. Skye is close to him and still put her on the index. Imagine now being revealed that there is a whole new race of power people. Even with the best intention he will still need to make hard calls, just like Jiaying will. I think post finale we will all spend the entire summer discussing both side and people will sympathize more with one or the other. I think it's their point. What side you will be on? season 3 will be all about that because of civil war tight in. Relationship will be broken and new ones will be built.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Villainous scumbs, really? you hate toward inhumans is scary considering they are the ones in peace and will be attacked.

    ReplyDelete
  138. With SHIELD knowing the position of Afterlive I doubt the Inhumans will stay there.

What will happen to Skye will depend massively on whatever will happen during the season finale. I see three possible outcomes right now:
    1. She will leave SHIELD and stay with her mother and the Inhumans
    2. She will stay with Coulson and the team
    3. She will leave both sides and be on her own again.

But whatever will happen I don't think she will make her another Ward and separate her from the team for more than a handful episodes of the next season.

With "CIvil War" coming next year I can't see AoS limit the Inhumans too much, otherwise it wouldn't have been usefull to introduce the Inhumans as early as they did.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I think he will be pissed but by it was showed to us this is what their relationship is about. They lie, betray the other and somehow end up back to do all over again. They are going to the spin off together so i have to assume whatever problem he has will be solved until the season is over or they will left to rebuild on the new show.

    ReplyDelete
  140. That "forgiveness, not trust" is why I think there's no realistic way for Ward to be back on that team, or with Skye, ever. They MIGHT, if they find it within their hearts to truly take the high road and be the bigger people, forgive Ward one day (not any time soon, mind you). But for them to trust him again? It's just never gonna happen after a betrayal like that. In some corner of their mind, they're always going to fear that Ward will stab them in the back as soon as it's turned to him.

That's why I also think Bobbi and Mack shouldn't be accepted back into the team so easily (well, we know it's unlikely to happen with Bobbi anyway since she's leaving to the spin-off, but I digress). Even though their actions were nowhere near as bad as Ward's, and their motivations were much more understandable, they still betrayed their friends. And after something like that happens, even if you WANT to trust the other person again, you just can't... not so quickly. It rubbed me the wrong way when Hunter and Mack were laughing together last week. After what Mack has done to him, I find it pretty far-fetched that Hunter has gotten over it so quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I think Jiaying will die eventually because its true, her presence is a lot of weight to Skye storyline but i don't think will happen now. Could be more close to the civil war event. Cal could die now and later Jiaying does. The way they present Skye's story for me is clear her parent won't survive. She thought they were both dead, they weren't, she found them but it will never have a happy ending. The day they both die its probably when they will turn her into Daisy Johnson. I think both Shield and Jiaying/inhumans will make hard calls and Skye ends season 2 on her own. I don't think Skye being torn between both of them will be resolved on the finale. This will be a continue theme on season 3. Coulson and her mom will try to rebuild whatever bridge they burn with her on the future.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Yeah I think you are calling it right (though who knows...). Like you I see Skye ending up leaving Shield over how this plays out, only coming back as the Civil War situation heats up. But without question none of her relationships are going to be the same after this ends.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Unfortunately his redemption will be forced back into SHIELD/the team on season 3. I have no doubt about that. They aren't killing him yet or sarting a whole new parallel story just for him.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'm leaning towards option 3 for a period to be honest. I see her being isolated from the team even after her return. Looking at how Jemma is taking her not being willing to tell everything (which is just being smart considering the current environment in Shield)

    ReplyDelete
  145. To go along with the Civil War and changed relationships. Just for the love of God keep him away from Skye if they do force the issue.

    ReplyDelete
  146. I never read such thing. Do you remember where did you read this?

    ReplyDelete
  147. The best way for them to survive was not take them to Garret and not to drop them off the plane. It's a silly excuse. Ward said more than one time he is not a good man i don't know why is so hard to believe, his actions proves that. Yes, he was abused but this doesn't excuses all his actions. He did plenty of things on his own because its who he is, not a good person. He can be better if he wants to, but he will need to start over and please, do that some place else because people won't just forget everything.

    ReplyDelete
  148. As you I think Coulson would do that, but he is not the problem. We know the registration act will come and I doubt the Inhumans will accept to be registrated and that is what will happen as soon as SHIELD knows they exist. Interestingly Coulson and Simmons transformed SHIELD's index into the list that will be the registration ac.

    ReplyDelete
  149. This is what i always say. He had plenty of shots to start over and redeem himself but he passd all them. He could have choosen the team but the excuse was Garrett then he was dead. He had the chance to start again by helping Couson take out HYDRA but no, he need Skye there basically confirming he didn't care much by Coulson or the team. He cared about Skye (in a unhealthy way). He said himself he only cared for him promise which was reunite Skye with her father hoping she would see him for who he really was (Raina line). Basically he thought she would be thankfull or she would become a monster like Raina said and be with him. How is that being sorry?
It does look like giving Kara to shield is the first selfless thing he does. Could be the start of his redemption but he has a really long way to go for to people realistic believe he has changed. He hasn't showing much or anything besides the Kara thing. Even if he gets the redemption hopefully he does far away from the team.

    ReplyDelete
  150. It's another excuse the fans come up with. You are right. He is highly trained spy. He isn't a idiot. He had plenty of time to think things over i can't believe that was the best he could come up with. He doesn't need to be smug about anything, not even May, Skye or Simmons. His mistakes were way worse and he won't win points back by trying to equals everything they did to one another. Being quite, not making silly jokes and go with a sincere apoligize would be a start.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Kara could do something crazy to get back at Bobbi. It would also explaning Ward possibly coming back for her. The producer teased he will have a decision to make on the finale if he really cares for her.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I'm just going to pray to every TV deity out there that this doesn't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, right? For Ward, this season is defined by Coulson's last words to him in season 1: "who are you without him (Garrett)". We ARE supposed to wonder if he really means what he says or has some ulterior motive, but I'm sure they intend to end the ambiguity by the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  154. True enough, it's going to be hard seeing some of the relationships break. Honestly I don't know how Skye stays in Shield with the Civil War/Registration Act coming. Particularly if she pushes back, Like I listed already there's plenty more information to come out from each of the original's that's going to strain the already weakened relations.

I guess no matter how it plays out her "Life long Quest" is going to end with her getting screwed over.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Don't know much abbout this, so I can't comment.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Could be, I'm less sure about my Katya theory than I am on my Thomas one. In all honesty, I'm just hoping for anything that allows this to end without a silly bloodbath between them.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I certainly have. I wan't to trust Kara but this show is giving trust issues.

    ReplyDelete
  158. I don't like the way Lincoln is freaked out about waking up at the HQ of the organization that's hunting him and his people down, that's really shady. I don't trust him, or any of the Inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  159. How the things will turn out for Skye is (since this season, S1 she was kind of boring) one of the most interesting storylines of the show.

As Skye's character is not only Daisy Johnson but more or less a combination of different characters (beside Daisy Johnson I think Computer Specialist and Inhuman Sarah Garza and because of ther gift a bit of Crystal), it is very hard to predict what will be her endgame. And as the MCU is also busy killing characters, that are still alive in the comics like Quicksilver or Ronan, practically everything could happen.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Even if she leaves, I don't see her staying away for too long. I'm not saying this will be resolved in an episode or two, only that Skye will eventually return to Shield, once all the xenophobia and Hydra like tactics stop.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I don't think she's ever turn to Ward, not even if her life depended on it. What happened in the last episode was extenuating circumstance that involved saving her friends and working with her her other friends/colleagues, She tolerated Ward's presence because Coulson felt he was needed to fulfil the mission. There's nothing Ward has that she's ever want from him.

Say she leaves SHIELD and then gets kicked out of Afterlife, this doesn't mean Jiaying or Coulson will stop loving or caring for her well being. She will still have people on her side even if it's not the SHIELD organization or the inhumans in Afterlife. I don't know what will happen but I doubt Skye will be without the one or the other (SHIELD/Inhumans).

    ReplyDelete
  162. I want him away from the whole team. Is that too much to ask?

    ReplyDelete
  163. I think so to. I don't think we'll be seeing Katya or her daughter ever again.

    ReplyDelete
  164. C'mon, they (inhumans) are clearly all villains. How can't you see? they will fight back and hurt shield. They deserved to die. lol

    ReplyDelete
  165. Hunter had a prior relationship with Mack and this wasn't his first rodeo. It sucks but I get why he'd be forgiving towards Mack. Bobbi is a different story altogether because they were married and Bobbi's always chose her job over him, so he's taking that a lot more personal, maybe his pride is dented and wan't to nurse it some more. I get it.

And if the spinoff gets green lit, they'll clearly get past this latest speed bump, as we've seen now that they usually do kiss and make after Bobbi pulls one of her stunts on him. He loves her and forgives her.

    ReplyDelete
  166. He should clearly be super happy and tell them everything, what a meanie!

    ReplyDelete
  167. - So brave that Lincoln was willing to sacrifice himself so that SHIELD wouldn't get to Afterlife. But really, it was only a matter of time before SHIELD came knocking on Afterlife's door and ruin their secret society living. Now let's just hope there won't be any Inhuman casualties. What's that again that they are shady this whole time?

    - I'm glad that whatever HYDRA brainwashed Kara with is gone and she has her own mindset back. I really want to trust her but I can't shake the feeling that she will somehow betray SHIELD out of no where.

    - It will be interesting to see the team's reactions when they find out that Jemma is the one who accidentally killed Bakshi (if they ever do). And really Jemma? I love you but the only reason why Skye just can't pour everything out to you is because this is the same organization that was hunting her down and trying to kill her a couple of episodes ago. And she's trying to keep the Inhumans (and Afterlife) a secret as much as possible because they don't mean any harm to the rest of the world (though it's already too late for that).

    ReplyDelete
  168. It is getting over used and Civil War is coming, so don't expect it to end any time soon.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I have to be honest, I'm not keen on the cycle of lies and forgiveness continuing with Bobbi & Hunter. He's a good guy who deserves better. Unless she's willing to change and put Hunter before the mission, she's just going to keep hurting him. The fact that he's willing to overlook this and stay with her time after time makes it feel almost like an emotionally abusive relationship (harsh, I know, but not necessarily inaccurate). For them to have any chance of being a healthy, long-lasting couple, she has to make up her mind that she'll never lie to or manipulate him in this way again.

    ReplyDelete
  170. I think Fitz knows. He has a knowing face when they were talking but eventually other people might know too. Kara seems to be willing to do anything for Ward so you might be right. I think kara will try something against Bobbi/shield. If she really did something to her while undercover at hydra. Ward put her on the revenge path so she would want to settle that so she can move on.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I don't like how everyone is saying that Jiaying is gonna die! She was such a good addition and it would be so cruel of the writers to kill her off. I really hope she doesn't die and I hope she comes back in season 3.

    ReplyDelete
  172. How long can keep going over the same ground though? I mean pretty much everyone has betrayed/hidden/lied to someone else at this stage. Can they really do another season of it?

    ReplyDelete
  173. Sadly it appears so. And if Civil War does play out in the show I can see him ending up back at some stage :(

    ReplyDelete
  174. By the new spinoff description of "Mr and Mrs Smith" type of thing i expect them to keep bumping heads, lying and betraying each other.

    ReplyDelete
  175. But if the whole world is getting more xenophobic, how does she fit back into Shield? Even leaving aside Gonzales's overreaction, we have no idea what the basic grunts of Shield think about having such a powerful Gifted, particulalry if there's losses in the last few episodes to the Inhumans. I think just because of how they've set it up Skye will be handing over her badge (based of Coulson's reaction in the Cabin it would be huge for him and May I'd bet), not sure how they bring her back (and again if it involves Inhuman deaths...)

    ReplyDelete
  176. Oh her storyline has been massive this season (and as I've said as an actress she's massively different between 1 and 2). Yeah it's kind of hard to see how it plays out. As Alex said in one of the threads, AoS has the problem now that they have an Avenger level Gifted operating in the show.

I hope Cal stays as I think he's added plenty to the show as well with his crazyness.

    ReplyDelete
  177. It's only a guess, but if you think about it, it would tie into the comments that we've seen about the finale. She's brilliant but I think as long as she's around Skye is going to VERY conflicted.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I mean why not be happy in a bed of a secret agency charged with dealing with Gifted (including killing them) after being hacked up by another Secret force...

  179. Exactly, Hunter was more than willing to walk away from everything for her, yet she won't...

  180. Gavomitting to quote Scrubs. On the other hand maybe bring him back so somebody else takes a shot on killing him (fairly sure May will aim for the head)

  181. wow, Lincoln was terrified when he saw that he was in SHIELD. What i iknow for sure is the Gonzales is going at the Afterlife looking for the Inhumans. He calls them "freaks". He was pretty clear when he was talking with Bobbi. I'm seeing a big war coming in the season finale, and it will continue in the beggining of Season 3, for sure.

p.s: aww my skimmons heart at Jemma’s reaction when Lincoln wakes up and Simmons keeps looking at Skye. <33

  182. I don't want her to die either.

  183. Fawk yeah! I have been waiting AGES! And Jemma is gonna get it..!

  184. Civil War won't keep the world xenophobic, it will start off that way but then end on a different note because it doesn't help if you keep all sides fighting one another when Thanos is getting ready to attack. They will all have to reunite and work together for the greater good of all concerned not just plain old humansor inhumans. I think that is where the T-bomb comes in.

In the comics, they used it to create more inhumans to fight against a big bad, not against xenophobic twats like Gonzalez. They will be on different sides at the beginning but eventually they'll come together for a common cause. That's why I say even if Skye leaves SHIELD for most of season three (a definite possibility) she won't stay gone for good. Skye is and will always be a SHIELD agent for as long as there's reasons for her to remain one (to protect and serve the greater good) despite Civil War coming.

CW is going to muddy the waters a lot for her but they will clear in the end and she will eventually be back at SHIELD doing what she was trained to do AND fully using her gift without fear of being put down for being a "freak".

  185. I honestly have no idea.

But if we get a S3, rest assured a Civil War tie in is inevitable whether the audience wants one or not. It won't matter that the story will seem redundant, they have already done that with SHIELD 2.0 betraying Coulson and team almost like Hydra in S1. As far as writers wanting to tell their own story Marvel has a bigger agenda where AoS is concerned. It's part of their marketing machine for the movies and that may eventually hurt the show in the long run.

  186. I absolutely agree.

  188. I used to be a skyeward shipper but not anymore cause i aint one of them crazy blinded shippers. But I hope somehow someway wards saved fitzsimmons life and nearly dies doing so and proved he cared about them all and he dropped them in ocean to save them, i hope he saves May and skye and coulson and they all actually desperate for him to come back but then as usual something bad happens and he gets taken by inhumans or hydra. Fuck knows loll blabbin just want my orignal 6 back :(

  189. Yeah, the chances are fairly high that the Inhumans are going to fight back. Shield is completely underestimating what the Inhumans are and what they can do. Instead of sitting down and talking to them (even though it was most likely to end up with some sort of confrontation anyway), they are pushing for conflict. I can see Shield dealing with the after effects in the next season (along with theAoU outcomes).

  190. I don't think anyone wants her to die. I certainly don't, I just think that if she's a likely risk as 1) Cal is easier to keep while having Skye remain in Shield, 2) having a near immortal mother is going to mean that Skye is always going to be divided in her loyalities, 3) they way the show has gone it would be the perfect emotional blow to Skye...

  191. Holy CRAP! So Gordon is trying to kill Gonzales, and I guess the Elders have turned against Skye? Or she's trying to limit their actions... Though that's another massive Inhuman power...

    ReplyDelete
  192. This would be ideal way to deal with them, approach them to talk but we saw Gonzales shield couldn't even do that to Coulson/shield and they were on the same side. They went blasting everything at the playground now imagine how he will do with power people. They will decive Skye and Lincoln to track them and send a bunch of planes there. Whatever happens Gonzales will be responsible. They can't expect approach them in agressive way and they don't fight back. They don't want to live in a cage. You can see inhumans will be on his ship. Can't wait to see how this ends.

    ReplyDelete
  193. Yeah, though I imagine Gonzales and Co will blame the Inhumans for having the gall not to roll over and play dead for Shield. Given the image posted below the fight is going to be coming for Gonzales fairly soon...

    ReplyDelete
  194. So that must be the red head. We can see she is on Gonzalez's ship with LIncoln on he finale. She will probably try to kill a lot of shield agents. Maybe destroy and sink the ship so i can see why Skye would fight her.

    ReplyDelete
  195. I don't think they will necessarily turn on her. They will want to fight back hard against Shield/Gonzales who wants them dead and Skye will probably disagree with somehting they are planning because she knows not everybody at shield is like Gonzales. We can see Lincoln saying something to Skye and she isn't happy. Like you said, they are underestimating the inhumans. I just really hope they don't make the inhumans do something so bad that everybody will turn on them like they are all big bad villains of the story. If Skye is fighting the red head who can multiply herself is because she is doing something crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  196. However if she fights the Inhumans (and I agree with your logic) then that might be the reason why she's going to be out of Afterlife. You can see why the blurb was saying that she was going to face having to choose sides. I think Gonzales will force the issue, leading to a) most likely his death by end of season and b)the clash in the finale.

I noticed that they had already been reusing the Bus sets as the basis for some of the Carrier's sets, wonder if that's were Coulson ends up in this time? Unless the Inhumans end up sinking her (in which case the Shield Inhuman war is going to heat up massively).

    ReplyDelete
  197. I don't think they will sink it because the carrier will mostly likely be one of the main sets season 3. Now that the bus was destroyed but they will try. I guess we can agree Skye won't end the season with the inhumans. Even if just a faction of the inhumans with extreme plans i can't see Skye just walking back there. Not even with her mom. I think the season will end in a completely caos. We know shied will attack and inhumans will attack back. Neither sides will stop going into season 3. Inhumans will feel threatened and Shield will want more than ever control them. People will end up hating the inhumans because anyone fighting Skye and Coulson will be seen as villains which is unfortunatly. I can't wait for the fight scenes.
