I got a feeling Damon will make Elena the offer to go for the 1903 cure and both turn Human. Especially after reading the 6x20 synopsis. Something is bound to get wrong there.
I'm not that opposed to it, would be much better if the cure wasn't around or if there were clues about it earlier. But I believe Vampires, especially Elena revisits her losses as a Vampire. Just that now it feels opposed and they won't attract viewers this way.
Don't mentioned. Such a stupid move. If they were to leak it, they should've done it a week, max two before the finale. This way it is easier for Nina, but if they have a great story tease for the next season in the finale people wouldn't react this hard and stick with the show.
They always have a teaser for the next season, doubt they will skip on it this season. But U Certainly read JP's interview where she said she has no clue how to cut the episode.
He does have one use - being the only human besides Jo and Alaric and the only one at all if J & A leave. Otherwise yeah, useless. I didn't see that coming, but the show evolved and his character didn't.
lately it does seem like Matt is headed for a tipping point. and keep in mind that Tyler and Jeremy won't be around anymore. if Elena dies he might hold a serious personal grudge against Stefan and Damon soon.
Yep. They should simplify this story as much as possible. I really don't think Elena will take the cure. Not meant for her, she will most likely die protecting one of her friends.
I don't think her storyline can get much simpler. Elena contemplates her future while Damon wrings his hands about what to do with the cure. I don't know how many episodes Elena will have to decide once she finds out but this is all very straightforward. All I'm saying is that I'm not fond of the show overdoing all these extended, mushy shipper conversations. I lost track of how many of these "Delena" have had since they got back together. I'm hoping it won't extend to any other couples in season 7.
From the 6x20 synopsis I suspect Damon will offer to takebthe 1903 cure so they can live that dream she has. So she'll most likely find out in this episode.
I don't think you've thought this through. It's not about getting to 1903. It's about what a pain in the ass it will be once he gets there.
It's 1903 in the middle of a harsh enough winter to leave accumulative snow in Virginia. There are no roads, no cars, no maps, no GPS, and no easily obtainable blood supply. The only way to get that cure in Nova Scotia is either on foot or by horse (if they don't die) and that's only until you get to Canada and then you'll need a boat to get to the island. A trip like that in the dead of winter in 1903 would take months if not the better part of a year.
No, me neither and we're definitely not alone in feeling this way judging by the comments being made. TPTB would have known about Nina's leaving months ago and this was the best JP and the writers could come up with?
Didn't the cast leak it? They posted pictures on social media of the goodbye party and people who saw them figured it out. Then they were forced to make a statement. I wish it could have been a surprise as well. That would have been a real shocker!
well he's going to be a cop, and Caroline and Bonnie are the only two friends he has left, one of which is a vampire who tried to kill him. so I wager yes
Here's my take on that. There's been a lot of water under the bridge - Wickery of course - in almost six seasons of TVD. Some seasons/story lines have been great, others not so much. Now that we're almost at the end of Season 6 we're in a "not so much" spot. Lots of fans have questioned whether JP and the writers have taken the show in the right direction. No one died and left me THE critic so I'll just have my own opinions about that.
I do think that we need to get Season 6 over and behind us. I never thought I'd say something like that about TVD and it actually hurts to say it. But there's a mess that needs to be cleaned up and how well that will be done remains to be seen. It's a mess caused by many factors and how it's resolved is really important to the show's future. But I believe and hope that Season 7 can and will be a re-birth for the show. I'm not ready to write it off by any means.
The cast didn't leak it.Someone from their crew posted a very suspicious tweet saying the party was in honor of Trevino & Nina-That confirmed everything!
WOW! Neat idea! But are we sure that Katherine died out of rapidly aging to her real age or just cause the cure was sucked out of her body? Thanks for supporting my Idea ;-)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Sweet one. A bit pushy but tolerable. She needs to find out ASAP and we need to find out who will really take it.
ReplyDeleteDamon needs to tell her already,i wonder how she will know about the Cure?

I really want to slap the person who leaked Nina's exit news!It ruined everything-The ending could've been as shocking as season 1 finale!Urgh!!
ReplyDeleteDon't mentioned. Such a stupid move. If they were to leak it, they should've done it a week, max two before the finale.
ReplyDeleteThis way it is easier for Nina, but if they have a great story tease for the next season in the finale people wouldn't react this hard and stick with the show.
Think both of them will take it. If not either of them, I think Lily will be forced to take it.
ReplyDeleteI don't honestly think this episode will anything more than Elena's farewell episode with no cliffhanger for next season.
ReplyDeleteThey always have a teaser for the next season, doubt they will skip on it this season. But U Certainly read JP's interview where she said she has no clue how to cut the episode.
ReplyDeleteGod I can't wait to to this storyline is dead.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad Zach isn't leaving the show. Elena ending up with Matt would be full circle for her.
ReplyDeleteI really wish Zach would've left too with Nina & Trevino-He's completly useless too!
ReplyDeleteHe does have one use - being the only human besides Jo and Alaric and the only one at all if J & A leave. Otherwise yeah, useless. I didn't see that coming, but the show evolved and his character didn't.
ReplyDeleteI'm a DE shipper. 6 yrs running. Idk what you're saying to me.
ReplyDelete"Sweet one. A bit pushy but tolerable."
ReplyDeleteI feel the same. That's not a knock on "Delena" either. There's only so much sap I can take in a vampire show.
lately it does seem like Matt is headed for a tipping point. and keep in mind that Tyler and Jeremy won't be around anymore. if Elena dies he might hold a serious personal grudge against Stefan and Damon soon.

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to this show?
ReplyDeleteI don't think the 1903 cure will come in to play. Logistically, it's just not a reasonable undertaking to go get it.
ReplyDeleteHave U met Damon? He equals unreasonable.
ReplyDeleteSomehow the "people" from 1903 have to comeback.
I don't think you've thought this through. It's not about getting to 1903. It's about what a pain in the ass it will be once he gets there.

I have nothing against him but him being the (Now Almost)only human was cute in first 2 seasons.Now-Not so much!
ReplyDeleteLOL!He will go up against the Salvatore brothers. He cannot be that dumb, can he?
ReplyDeleteNo, me neither and we're definitely not alone in feeling this way judging by the comments being made. TPTB would have known about Nina's leaving months ago and this was the best JP and the writers could come up with?
ReplyDeleteThings have always had a tendency to go wrong - badly - on TVD, right?
ReplyDeleteDidn't the cast leak it? They posted pictures on social media of the goodbye party and people who saw them figured it out. Then they were forced to make a statement. I wish it could have been a surprise as well. That would have been a real shocker!
ReplyDeleteHe said he hates vampires last episode and refused andy help from them. I wonder if they are setting him up to be a new enemy/issue for next season?
ReplyDeletewell he's going to be a cop, and Caroline and Bonnie are the only two

i still can't believe this is the last season for Nina. Damon and Elena are SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletethere's a 1903 cure?
ReplyDeleteThe cast didn't leak it.Someone from their crew posted a very suspicious tweet saying the party was in honor of Trevino & Nina-That confirmed everything!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Delena is running out of runway - I am going to miss them and this show at the end of this season.
ReplyDeleteBut he doesn't have any good storylines or any real reason to stay connected to these people (Damon, Stefan, Caroline) without Elena/Tyler/Jeremy.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Neat idea!
ReplyDeleteBut are we sure that Katherine died out of rapidly aging to her real age or just cause the cure was sucked out of her body?

I think she only started aging rapidly because Silas sucked the cure out. But I'm not 100% sure.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome :)
Unknown teritory! I like it. ^_^
