    (Whines) I want to see something else!! They're my OTP and all but give me a break here! I've been (we've been) w/o TVD for two weeks, and when we finally get something it's "the talk" between them that I dread so much! ButI let that slide. ThenI read some TV Line article today and it's Jo (the actress) being interviewed, they talk about the wedding for a bit, BUT somehow they end up talking about Elena and this stupid cure, and how Elena will probably be the MOH at Jo's wedding. (Which btw if that happens, is just downright awful) NOWWWW we get a promotional picture and I have to look at Delena...AGAIN! At someone's house, I know not whose! I just want something else. I've been patient enough. = (

    I really want Elena to take the cure. I think it would be interesting to see once and for all if she goes through a personality shift when she's human or vampire.


    Of course that has a probability of putting an end to Delena, but I don't ship them so I'm fine with that.

    I don't think Elena's personality would change much if she turns back into a human. She didn't change just because she turned into a vampire but because of her experiences, she grew up. Making her a human again wouldn't change that.

    Wow.. they are really torturing us. These pics tell us NOTHING! Don't get me wrong.. I love Delena and I ship them.. pretty hardcore, but they are just sitting there. I need something more!! I hope that means there is a lot going on in the last few episodes and they don't want to give away to much.

    It should be her sister! You know the one she saved from death then reunited with years later. The one who lost her twin brother while trying to save his twin sister and his big sister, from his big evil brother! Jo owes her that much. Elena can be a bridesmaid. But MOH? No. I don't agree with that at all. I think that's a little much. Honestly.

    I really hope so! The last two season finales stil suprised me and I'm pretty sure they are going to suprise me again. TVD always does with it's season finales. I'm scared already..

    Storyline wise,it makes more sense if you think about it.Someone(Lexi most probably)saved Lily when she dying of consumption back in 1858,so when enzo fell ill the early 90's(at least before 1940's coz he was a soldier back at that time),she probably found him & turned him.I still want a proper explanation of his immense hatred for Stefan,that one still doesn't make any sense whatsoever!

    I think Liv has a very good chance of coming back. Her whole arc wasn't about Tyler. (Not saying that you said that, i'm just saying) There's still work to be done on her end. If Liv is still around, (which she is) then Jo needs to ask her, and tell her she's going to be an aunt. After that if Liv wants to be a part of her life or not, then that's up to her. But at least give her the option. Don't take that away from her b/c she "wasn't around" call her up. Jo hasn't said one word to Liv since Luke, she should at least see how she is. Not go straight to Elena. That's messed up.

    Even Elena herself acknowledged that she changed after becoming a vampire, and it's been stated multiple times that the personality of any human who gets turned becomes magnified.


    Caroline also went through a similar transformation. I know that people (especially Delena shippers) like to pretend that Elena wouldn't be too different if she became human again, I think she would be different. Not a complete personality shift, mind you, but she would not be the same.

    I'm not pretending Elena hasn't changed. Of course she did.. I just think that she wouldn't change back to who she was just because her vampirism gets taken away because that wouldn't take away her memorys of dying, coming back to life, having to drink blood and so on. Those experiences played a part in her change of personality too. Everyone would change more or less after going thru this.
    And it definitely wouldn't take away her feelings for Damon and make her love Stefan again like some Stelena shippers believe. She fell in love with Damon long before she turned into a vampire, she just couldn't admit it.

    She certainly won't turn upside down, but the personality change is expected. The things that happened to her as a vampire certainly won't change, her personality is already shaped based on them, but since her emotions will no longer be heightened and the bloodlust will be gone, things will change a bit.
    I'm not sure how that's supposed to put an end to Delena though, unless she decides to take a step back from everything supernatual, I don't see them breaking apart that easily.

    Agree - Yes, I would expect Human vs Vampire Elena would be different.
    But, we have to remember Elena was not only growing into her supernatural self when she became a vampire but was going from Little High School teen to Young Adult /College Student.


    Becoming a vampire was the next major chapter in her life and with that came a lot of change - 1) Huge Decision - live as a vampire or die 2) Jer's death & burning her house down 3) graduating high school 4) starting a committed relationship with Damon 5) going off to college 6) NOT taking the cure the first time 7) learning about her father's experiments 8) loosing Stefan - getting him & Ric back, but loosing Damon / Bonnie 9) Memory erase of Damon 10) getting Damon back & starting over 11) loosing Liz etc...


    All these major life events changes a person and Elena has dealt with them in her own way so YES, I would be disappointed if Elena responded to these huge events like the same little sad girl, who just lost her parents in S1. She was a vampire - all emotions to these events were heightened. To survive she had to become stronger, more resilient to change. Some would say more selfish, and I would agree - a person can only give so much of themselves before it starts to chip away at their well-being - I believe Bonnie is living proof of that right now. So Yes, I have enjoyed Elena's journey from that little teen girl in S1 to the mature supernatural young women she is today.

    This show really loves to tease us Delena fans. They also seem to like to re-using old story lines just switching the brothers out - so I wonder will Damon be giving Elena a dream of their lives as human?


    So it starts with this apparent Delena talk and leads to dream sequence, which leads to Elena re-evaluating her life as a vamp. Damon gives her the cure, which is a selfless act, which hopefully triggers Elena's memories of Damon and ultimately Elena decides to stay a vamp.
