    This Davina taking over the covens is bull*hit. I mean really, such a rogue spirit, with powerful manipulative ties towards Vamps. No just no.

    It's not taking them over it's being the emissary for the ancestors. Which makes sense. She's a Harvest girl, extremely powerful and is one of the few witches left who seems capable of doing so.

    She is 17 and obsessed with bringing her crush back. I like her, I think she is quite powerful, but really not ready for that position.

    And it is pretty much taking them over, but we'll have to wait and see how far they will go with this story?

    If this was a video game people would be pissed. Well the werewolf one at least seems entirely intentional with curse thing. But yeah unless you're an original one witch can take dozens of vampires.

    I kinda disagree. Yes it wasn't the best, but they were incredibly powerful when channeling the ancestors. In fact they would have killed Hope, were it not for the curve ball that was Marcel and the Devil's Star.

    Yeah but it still was a bit silly overall. They used that fire instead of so many things and disruppted their bond and parted ways istead of sticking together.

    The graveyard is where New Orleans witches are both at their most powerful and their most connected to their ancestors. It's an holy place of reverence for them. It seems hard to grab an incredibly fast moving fence rod even with telekinesis. Concentration wise.

    It's where they are at their strongest but than it would've been enough if for the witches to just disable the sunlight rings and prevente the Vamps from entering.
    There are a lot of arguments for pro and contra but they had so many options there and they went for some really foolish ones.
    I don't say Ur are wrong, you have valid points but it's awful in what terrible ways they get outsmarted, when they are powerful and at the top of their power.

    I have to admit, I kind of hated the witches and am glad they got their asses handed to them on styrofoam plates. After what they did to Cami's family as well as how that one heinous Harvest girl (can't remember her name) turned on her aunt who was only trying to resurrect her, the witches were just begging to get smacked down off their high OP horse.

    It's not about love or hate, we discussed how unbalanced the witches powers are. From the dying point all those witches deserved to die, they were quite annoying.

    In terms of unbalanced, it is kind of the theme in The Originals. Every time a certain group gets the upper hand (werewolves, vampires, witches) they always abuse that power and it ends up leading to their downfall.
