  1. It was deserved. Mikael was just terrible as a person.

  2. He was, the question is...was it the best choice in the long haul? Mikael loves Freya and probably would've put her wishes above his desire to kill Klaus. Klaus could've used that for his advantage.

Also, we all know that no original stays dead, so next time Mikael returns....

  3. This dialogue on this show is always so bad. Nobody talks like this and Klaus didn't talk like this all the time on TVD - so it's the writing for sure.

  4. Yeah Freya's gonna kill him now. Meh he'll just put him back down. True, but Klaus when emotional isn't the best planner (though at least he killed him as well to help kill Dahila). It's weird he did, but then they failed and Mikael started being an asshole and Klaus just said f*ck it. Not sure on the one hand it giave them the opportunity to murder Dahila again, on the other it pissed off Freya and further drove her against him (though it seems like she plans to shaft him anyway).

  5. Mac, come back to the wikia ! It's currently a mess.... and Narducci pretty much confirmed thst he won't get ressurected but its possible Freya will get closure seeing his ghost + they will ask him for flashbacks

  6. Why do you even come here ? lol, 100% of your comments are just hating on the show...

  7. If they were willing to use him for more than a convenient plot device I might agree, but they really were not trying to hard to give Mikael any stories. Any plot to bring back non witches nw will seem really convoluted I think.

  8. sure thing, can't enter the wiki from my office account though (so it's just stv for the time being) but I'll try when I have time ^^

  9. It's called criticism. I'm unhappy with the current state of the show and I keep wishing for it to get better.

  10. I think this show is getting better. Love elijah he is all about business. I love the look on elihah face. Klaus better have a strategy. I always love elijah and klaus and them fighting I will always be foe elijah. Klaus like this is scary. Looking forward to this episode

  11. Unfortunately, it doesn't come across like that at all. It seems to me that you are searching for complaints rather than giving negatives in a constructive a manner.

  12. I am like Sara though lol. While I love the show I almost talk only about my complaints. And I agree, the dialogue is really bad. Also one has to find good reasons why the show dropped over 30% this season. Quality surely plays a role

  13. How is the dialogue really bad ? What basis do you have to judge the dialogue written for 1000 year old beings.....

  14. Thanks. I really loved The Originals on TVD and I like Marcel, Davina, Josh & Aiden as well - but it's frustrating that the writers can't figure out how to course correct. They keep retconning such for no reason and refuse to get rid of the failing elements/plotlines.

With other shows like Supernatural or Sleepy Hollow, they got new show runners long before it got to the point where The Originals is now because the network cared enough about the show to fix it.

  15. Their dialogue on TVD. The dialogue on TVD sounds much more natural, this show it sounds like they're just reading a script because it's just not natural speech patterns, it's the way people write not talk.

Natural speech patterns lmao, they are 1000 years old ! They don't have normal speech patterns they have all experienced centuries of different cultures and locations. Secondly, this clip from TVD instantly proves you wrong...

  17. Its beyond hammy at times 'I was born ready' I laughed for hours

  18. Mikael was horrible but he wasn't a horrible character. Just when they stopped the endless cycle of Mikael and Klaus plotting against each other and got them to talk in a semi-civil fashion (making their dynamic ten times better) they bump off the character.

It was kind of a kick in the nuts to finally show off some real potential with those two then brush it away like a piece of lint and move on.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah, I agree. There was potential again and what did they do? Let Klaus have another Hamlet moment

  20. It's somewhat baffling to me. They went so far as to use Mikael in promotional material for the show and even used Sebastian Roché individually in video ads and he's not even a series regular. That rarely happens. I figured the guy was in line for a promotion not a pink slip.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, Gillies and Holt were featured in season 3 and 4s promotional campaign as well and while Holt was in most episodes Gillies only had 8 episodes in season 3 and 5 in season 4.

I think they added him because of his characters significance

  22. They were both immensely popular. It's nothing new for the CW and its shows to trade on popularity. I wouldn't put Mikael anywhere close to the same category. Besides, they were ramping up for a spinoff so of course they wanted to get their faces out there as much as possible.

    ReplyDelete
  23. True that, however Mikael does have quite a fanbase himself. At least Rochés face is memorable and potentially attracts viewers.

But I guess he was at the photoshoot because he was available at that time and a member of the OG family so they invited him

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well, I hope that guy finally finds a show that makes good use of him. He seems to play a lot of characters with potential only to be underutilized.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm comparing it to Klaus' dialogue on TVD, which felt much more natural to me. You're free to not feel the same - but it's just how I feel.

    ReplyDelete
  26. He had a pretty good run as Mikael so I wouldn't say he was underutilized but got cut before unleashing most of his potential.

But I think the reason he's not a regular on anything isn't on him but his own choice, how does he NOT have a regular gig otherwise?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lol Elijah looked like he wanted to slap the shit outta him. LOL

  28. I enjoy the show. And to me its the best show out there. Its my addiction. I even think its better than the vampire diaries. But some of the stuff makes me mad but I love it. I love Daniel Gillies. Thank god Julie does not write the whole show.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I agree. Its time for Elijah to slap him. Elijah is always there for Klaus. It seems that Klaus is keeping secrets. Yea Elijah is like WTF is going on. I wonder if Elijah and Klaus is going to fight. I wonder what they would fight about. sorry I will always be for Elijah

    ReplyDelete
  30. Actually I just meant Elijah looked like he wanted to slap him b/c Klaus was being a dick. Nothing more. Idk what they'll fight about. I just think it'll be out of their control w/e it is.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It would have been better to keep him until Dalia is rid

    ReplyDelete
  32. That's true. It looked like elijah wanted to slap him

    ReplyDelete
  33. They should all celebrate michael's death together , they waited this for so long but instead of that , they act like what klaus did was wrong !! I don't understand them sometimes...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Its the fact that Klaus is isolated them and keeping secrets what he intends to do. I agree with Elijah. It was still their father even though he was a dick and he almost killed my Elijah, but I can understand what your saying

    ReplyDelete
  35. it's weird.. when Jeremy killed Kol in TVD S4, Kol didn't turned into ashes.... watch it in YouTube.. now, when Klaus stabbed Mikael in TO 2x18... he turned into ashes after the burning?... yep, weird.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Its about to go down...Elijah or Freya about to put him down for the first time wit that ''dagger''. Klaus is off the hook..

    ReplyDelete
  37. hey but remember it was Klaus failed plan that made Mikeal mad
