Nope! I still loathe "him" very much, but I'm fair so when I had something nice to say about him I said it. Just like I said that I liked Laurel in 3x17.
Anyone else kind of completely meh on Felicity now? It's probably gonna be worse since she is the character that is going to appear on all 3 shows regularly.
There was a spoiler that said he's going to watch that accident. Remember in the promo(s) when he's wearing glasses and seeing something, when he said "that's mad freaky".
Poor Barry he looks so devastated over Wells and the idea that Cisco/Caitlin might be working with Wells. Lots going on in this promo and they didn't even show Beth the Singing Bug Lady...LOL
I'm glad this is showing Roy's trouble with flight. "Nanda Parbat" felt too smooth when Ray took flight, so I'm glad at least he's showing trouble with the landing, since this episode is presumably before "Suicidal Tendencies" anyways.
Nope. Still love her a lot. I don't think she would go around in all three episodes as a rotating cast member. If she is I will enjoy it. I predict either Thea or Roy for that role as there are too many fighters on Team Arrow now.

All the cgi and special effects for The Atom looked GREAT! Can't wait to finally see a episode centered in Ray as a hero! Also, the whole Wells dilema and the Barry/Felicity friendship are things i really love to watch!
I don't like her except for this season but that does not mean I don't see the failed effort they put for her in season 1 and 2. Diggle, Felicity, Thea, Roy, Quentin... True. It could work very well. I can see any of the supporting characters crossing over all three shows except for Diggle and Felicity. Felicity because she is the only tech person in Starling City and Diggle because of the up coming HIVE story line. There are too many fighters on TA now for them to go on field. So it has to be a fighter. Laurel makes sense since she does not actually want to work with Oliver.
I know what you mean and I agree, my comment was about you considering her a supporting character. There are some ugly arguments about that out there; every time someone refers to Felicity as the lead female character or when someone says that Laurel is a supporting character. "Is it confirmed Cisco watches his own murder using the glasses?" Not with the glasses but he'll see it. "How can it be recorded and shown in this time line. Doesn't make sense." I guess Gideon recorded it. If she/it can have the PA schemes even after Eobard killed Wells then she/it (seriously is it she or it?) must've recorded the confrontation. Question here, if that happened does that mean that Eobard know as well?
Eobard knows every thing just like Malcolm Merlyn. Speaking of Malcolm does Team Arrow have any idea Malcolm has bugged them. Or are we supposed to forget that plot device now that the foundry is going to be compromised?
They didn't even acknowledge it for us to ignore it to begin with. In the same episode he was surprised by their decision not to work with him even though he clearly must've been watching them. And why did he even offer to work with them? He had the training and the information he needed he could've heard them talk about it. The whole thing was a mess.
If Waller dies and someone recruits Lyla back to run ARGUS in a different way than Waller's methods it could work. Lyla is a soldier and she is Harbinger.. she can't simply sit at home looking after Sara. She will get a new job next season for sure.
Only two more days until all the CW shows will be done with breaks for the remainder of the season !!! ( 5 episodes - Arrow, Jane the Virgin, Reign, The Originals, & The Vampire Diaries / 6 episodes - Supernatural & The Flash )
well, I think if Laurel was gone, the show wouldn't lose anything. Not just because she's a terrible character played by an even worse actress, but also because she's always just running on the side of things. She doesn't really matter an ex-girlfiriend, prosecutor or sidekick. If she would just write her off the show, I bet a lot of people wouldn't even notice for a couple of episodes. basically what I'm trying to say, she's not vital to the show. Lance, Felicity, Diggle, they would be missed (and Oliver of course), but Laurel? Not so sure. Lance covers the law/police element and with Roy and Diggle Oliver already has two sidekicks. The way they developed Laurel's character they just messed it up - if the goal was for her to be a key element.
Oh that'll go well. Only way he could be imprisoned is in the pipeline. I'd say Argus but Waller would probably just use him as a killer. He'll probably fake a death or something. He is The Magician after all. But honestly while I do think he should be in jail, Malcolm being free is really like the least awful thing Team Arrow has to deal with. Plus he'll probably ally with them at some point. He's an asshole but man is he a useful fighter. At this point though unless something pushes him over the edge, Malcolm just seems like a broken asshole. And is probably unlikely to hurt anyone or any innocents. He still should face justice, but at least he's not doing any villainy.
I can but I won't. I'm tired of writing the same list every few days. I'm tired of always explaining myself. I hate him and that's that. I shouldn't be forced to explain why I don't like him; there's no rule that says I should love him and if I don't then I have to justify my unfathomable hatred for a very problematic character.
I know it won't go well. What I meant was instead of Team Arrow allowing him to walk away even after him killing all those people and Sara they try to put him away and if he escapes because of his cunning and talent then so be it. I like it when villains out smarts heroes not when heroes let them go because they are unable to do anything. That is just stupid. At least try.
Malcolm killed Sara and used Thea just to protect his ass. He will hurt someone next time it will help his cause. Do you truly think a villain like Malcolm would go on with his guilt trip and stay clean?
In that case Eobard knows about the other timeline. And she must have access because she helped Eobard build the PA even though Wells died which should've erased any info about it.
That I don't disagree. She has been on the outside of the main action and story line for long. But now they have slowly integrated her into the team. Then in next episode they are again going to leave her at Starling and go away. So yes her moving around will not change much on the show but my mind says it won't be Laurel. People here has given some compelling reasons though. So it could very well be her.
As someone that really tried to truthfully ask this and caused this reaction I think I know "why".
Looking at Ray he's a 1:1 copy of early Felicity: cocky, fun loving and quirky. Not going for him, it's dumb to copy/paste your character.
He's dull and flat but in no shape or form should be causing this reaction)
That is of course despite one single detail in his character biography. If I was to hate Palmer I would have to hate Felicity, the essentially same character only with different genetalia.
I don't like Palmer (because duh: like Felicity he's too flat of a character for me to completely care about. And before anyone says they're not alike in any way here's a little list of similar characteristics:
barely developed backstory in early appearances: check computer savy: check quirky and in many ways "weird" behaviour: check funny one liners: check more depth than genuine care for one single issue: check)
I know why the guy is hated, there're valid reasons to dislike him, the guy is flat. But seeing the hate campaign that is ruling the internet makes me think that there's a different issue behind that. And I'll be very honest here: it's a witch hunt. Just like I drive my little one-man-war against shipping taking over Arrow a fanbase is driving over one single character,
this creates the same situation for me as the Laurel situation in the past did: a little character is stepped on for mainly unfair reasons and I feel the need to protect them. I had my reasons to dislike Laurel, but the hate driven against her just made me mad. It's the same here and again both characters have the obstacle-situation in common.
This isn't just going towards koky there, maybe there's an aspect I just don't understand but the Arrow fandom has managed to make me feel more shocked and sad than any human being ever did. There's a vile side to this fandom (nope, not talking about koky who I actually like, no one here in fact) a side I was never suspecting a show to create.
A fictional show shouldn't spawn such hate on the other it shouldn't give me the need to protect the minorities (especially since in that case I'm one myself)
I love this show but seeing what it's doing to people and their interactions I'd rather see DC forcing the writers to kill the entire character lineup just to start from scratch.
TVD had a really gruesome fanbase but Arrow just takes the cake
I don't come here to fight but for some reason every opinion I have ends me in one leading me to believe that the internet/Arrow fandom doesen't like others forming opinions other than their own
(just had to get this off my chest since for once I actually got a positive message back from you, trust me this is a new one)
They should try I agree entirely Malcolm deserves punishment. I don't think he'd stay clean. But Malcolm as twisted, insane and ruthless he can be is clearly not a remorse killer. He feels guilt over the undertaking, is willing to die to help Thea for the horrible act he committed and seems to not go out of his way to hurt others except only when he feels he had no choice, or if it is for some greater good in his mind. He's not like Thawne whose a unrepentant monster out to hurt others for enjoyment. As awful as Malcolm is I believe that although he's probably beyond saving (way to crazy and warped) that he could do some good and although not get redemption atone for some of his wrong.
Oh they're alike. No doubt, but I wouldn't say they're the same character. Damn dude that's, that's just messed up. I actually really get that logic. Palmer and even Laurel are hated way too aggressively by a portion of this fandom, and it is taken to far a lot. It's like how there was a few fans who left hate messages for Katie Cassidy on Twitter. Or how John Campea (he did an Arrow after show) would spend 15 minutes just ranting on Laurel on how much she sucks. There is a point where such hatred reaches this vile repulsive level. But that doesn't make the fans who do that bad people necessarily. A wee bit too attached to the show yeah, but you shouldn't let that ruin you enjoyment of the show or the fandom. Or view of people. Every fandom has people like that (just too be clear no one here is that fan). For every one of them there any many more unlike them. I just I don't you should give people like that the time of day. Why waste your time near such vile dislike? Actually your need to protect that people under fire is unsurprisingly a lot like mine to stop unnecessary character hate and bashing of shippers who aren't crazy. (Not surprising since we're actually a lot alike). But yeah I get it. Seeing such division and anger is sad. The fandom should be able to have discourse and discussions without being on opposite camps or sides or insults. It's actually what I like about this place. There's a ton of disagreement but usually an underlying sense of respect. Thanks for sharing that it really helps me understand your point of view a lot more. And I hope one day our fandom can be less divided, because honestly it sucks.
I love Ray's self-righteousness though, haha. To me, he's been a phenomenal Ray Palmer and he goes in the category of actors who plays one persona really well, but not the other(like Tobey Maguire who plays a great Peter Parker but not Spider-Man). His attitude as Ray Palmer shouldn't be like that as Atom.
I wasn't offended at all and I'm sorry if my comment sounded confrontational, my irritation wasn't at all aimed at you. I'm just so exhausted of repeating the same argument. To sum up; I find Ray arrogant, pushy, a stalker, unprofessional, creepy, hypocritical, self righteous, sexiest (when he told Felicity that other girls would be flattered that he spent billions to hire them and when he credited her defending Oliver to being blinded by her emotional attachment) and he doesn't respect boundaries.
Yeah I gotta admit he has been all those (I disagree on sexism though) and to be fair he did think Oliver was a killer. I also regard Oliver as having all those traits at some point or another (except sexism). You forgot stubborn.
As a woman that line about girls being flattered that he spent that much money on them highly offended me. OK he thought Oliver was a killer but he "trusts Felicity's judgement and pretty much depends on it" and he "loves" her so why didn't he believe her when she told him Oliver didn't do it? And if he thinks Oliver is a killer why did he harm Roy? Who wasn't even attacking Ray at the time. Well stubbornness is something I can forgive, no one is more stubborn than Oliver. Can you give an example of Oliver being all the things I listed about Ray? (without them being a facade to trick people so they wouldn't find his identity or to protect them.)
I know Oliver was stalking Laurel in season 1 but that relationship had so many problems stalking was the least disturbing one of them and I hate that relationship (and I hate how Oliver acted during those days) because it brings the worse in both of them.
Arrogant- the whole I can beat Ra's al Ghul stuff. Unprofessional- he slept with Isabelle Hypocritical- any talk of killing by other vigilantes half the time, his secret and Palmer's secret Self-righteous- his whole crusade Stalker- season one Oliver Pushy- he's really assertive with his opinions Creepy- dude season one Oliver
I love the guy but man he is flawed. And I love that. Though his sleeping with Laurel in season one was so douchey.
Also on a somewhat unrelated not. Just watched a few clips from early season one and it's jarring how emotion and humanity less Oliver was back then compared to now. It's really good testament to the writing and Amell's performance just how different he is.
I get why that line is not great (well I don't fully because I'm a guy but I agree it's not good). True he did go too far with Roy, but I have to point out Roy did look like he was going to attack him and he perceived that he was an accomplice in Oliver's actions. But he did go too far.
When he's Atom, he shouldn't be as cocky as he is when he's just Ray. I'm specifically looking at "Suicidal Tendencies" when he was snarky up the butthole towards Arrow and Arsenal.
This is where we disagree. Nothing that has been shown on Arrow makes me feel Malcolm feels guilty for the undertaking or killing Sara and using Thea. He feels justified in doing all that. The only genuine emotion I have seen from him is for Thea. Her opinion matters to him. So when she calls him a monster he wants to be better which is as selfish as his other deeds.. But other than that he does not have one ounce of concern for the lives he has taken. That is not guilt. Guilt is what Sara, Oliver, Roy and Thea feels for taking lives.
First of all I disapprove of half the things Oliver did in season 1. It took me a while to warm up to him and Dig and Felicity were the main reason I started to. I pretty much hated all Oliver/Laurel interactions so everything he did then is a no no for me.
When I said arrogant I meant how he always brags about how much money he has and how smart he is or even how cocky he was when he fought Oliver and Roy. It's unsavory and distasteful. Oliver just has a huge ego and boy did he learn his lesson lol Oliver is a hypocrite that's true but he's not pushy. He's very assertive but what I meant is how relentless Ray is. Felicity told him in episode 9 that she doesn't want to talk but he wanted to so it doesn't matter what she thinks he tracked her down and forced her to talk to him just like he forced her to work for him. Oliver doesn't force anyone to do anything they don't want to for his benefit.
I know Oliver is flawed and when he does something I don't approve of I always point that out. And I don't want him to be perfect but his good qualities are more than balance the scale. Thus far I have yet to find something about Ray that I like.
Malcolm showed a lot of guilt in 3x12 when he realized that now with Brick alive and the city in hell, everything he tried to do was pointless. All the death. Thawne's worse. He's killed at least a dozen people on the show. Will do anything to hurt Barry and is obsessed with murdering him. Hell he'll even change the timeline when it suits him. He knowingly caused the deaths of hundreds with the particle accelerator. Not to make the Flash so he'll do good but only for his own sick purposes. Hell he even killed Cisco whom he apparently viewed as a son. All without a tinge of remorse. Malcolm however good he is at suppressing it clearly feels some guilt. Thawne's far, far worse. I never said let him walk, I said he should go to jail and pay for his crimes, I merely pointed out the fact that it'd be extremely difficult to put him in and keep him in jail.
Have they actually ever told us how many people has died during the particle accelerator explosion? Lot of people has become meta humans but has lot died? I was just wondering.
Lol I was way off. It was 17. But still it's Thawne. He has no humanity, no remorse or care beyond hurting Barry. He'll even murder a child. At least with Malcolm there's a level of humanity and care for his family and boundaries even he wouldn't cross.
I get what you are saying. After reading some Flash comics and Flashpoint I can see Eobard is a maniac. But the show is not yet there. He has not surpassed Malcolm Merlyn yet but I am sure once they do the Flashpoint Paradox on the show he will overtake Merlyn in insanity. I consider Merlyn more like Lex Luther. Someone who does good deeds once in a while but is a bad guy. I have to disagree on care for family. The way he used Thea and made her a murderer shows he is ready to manipulate anyone to reach his goals. As long as the heroes in our show especially Oliver treat Merlyn as the bad guy he is I will be happy. I don't mind Thea being conflicted about him. But everyone else should have a clear idea Merlyn is the bad guy. That's all I want.
Oh I think he's a bad guy. I think he's capable of some good. I think they'll go that route since he's his comic nemesis and is like a dark tragic alternate Oliver (some would say the Reverse). In terms of deeds yeah Merlyn's worse, but just pure psychopathy I think Eobard just is more complete. Though apparently taking Wells' DNA affected him. But he appears to be able to override it. I do hope they do flashpoint. Because man is it good.
You think it is the effect of Wells's DNA that comes across as compassion from Eobard? So he got some of Wells's personality along with his features. Hmm.. Also do you thing that DNA copying thing copied Wells's scientific knowledge also to Eobard? How else was he able to replicate all the scientific achievements of Wells?
Actually I think Kreisberg or Cavanagh said that. Possibly, but Eobard is a brilliant scientist (particularly with the Speed Force) and I definitely think he could have absorbed the knowledge, but I think his ability to recreate it comes from his obsession with the Flash and Speed Force.
I thought Eobard was basically a thug not a brilliant scientist. I heard some one on youtube say that. Its not just replicating of Particle Accelerator right? He has written academic books and is renowned as Harrison Wells. So he needs to have the knowledge.
Eobard is extremely intelligent and well versed in science (again particuarly with the Speed Force- it's why he's called Professor Zoom) But his knowledge was probably enhanced by Well's own and years of immersion in physics and chemistry in the plan to build Star Labs.
Nah. Zolomon was a detective and former federal agent. He's also a really tragic villain. His life was destroyed and so was his sanity and so he basically took up Eobard's mantle to cause misery to Wally West to make him a better hero. He's like a really, really dark anti-villain.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh wow... I can't wait to see this. This show gets better every episode.
ReplyDeleteI havent seen so many promos for an episode than this one. Three promos olus those trailers at the cons.

ReplyDeleteYour usage of the term "him" made me think of Adam Warlock and not Ray Palmer, lol.
ReplyDeletenope and where is the confirmation of that?
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should've wrote "he who shall not be named" or my pet name for him CER lol but you got my point.
ReplyDeleteI thought that was in later episode. It could be in this one.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too but it adds up right?
ReplyDeleteRay... not Roy LOL
ReplyDeleteWho can possibly know with the Roy Ray Ras
ReplyDeleteYah, I corrected myself. I'm like that dude on the Arrow After Show on Streamtv that always gets the two names confused, lol.
ReplyDeleteVoldemort now? Lol.
ReplyDeleteNope. Still love her a lot. I don't think she would go around in all three episodes as a rotating cast member. If she is I will enjoy it. I predict either Thea or Roy for that role as there are too many fighters on Team Arrow now.

ReplyDeleteWhy would Thea or Roy show up on Flash or the spinoff? Makes no sense

ReplyDeleteToo many R's
ReplyDeleteI was so annoyed at the beginning of the season with this similar names but now got a handle on it.
ReplyDeleteLL could always travel to get different type of training as BC.
ReplyDeleteso far she isn't really that important for Arrow.
ReplyDeletefor some reason I just think it is too obvious to be Felicity especially with her more prominent storyline coming in s4.
ReplyDeleteAlso Felicity is the only tech guy of Arrow where as Flash has Cisco and spinoff already has Ray and Martin Stein.
ReplyDeleteI am not a Laurel fan at all but that is not true. Successful or not she has had an arc dedicated for her in all three seasons. Same cannot be said for any other supporting characters.

In the same episode he was surprised by their decision not to work with him even though he clearly must've been watching them. And why did he even offer to work with them? He had the training and the information he needed he could've heard them talk about it. The whole thing was a mess.
ReplyDeleteThat is my bravest face when it comes to fandom drama *retreat in a stealthy manner*.
ReplyDeleteApart from Oliver's return episode 11 and 12 was so underwhelming with all the plot conveniences they took. It could have been so much better.
ReplyDelete*retreat in a stealthy manner*. lol

YUP
ReplyDeleteBut she resigned.
ReplyDeleteOh sorry I forgot. Why wouldn't she go? Barry saved her life and Ray officiated her wedding. She has very deep connections to them.
ReplyDeleteOoohhh Psych. Love them.
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting on the big Oliver/Malcolm team up. There was a 1 sword fighting training but other then that nothing.
ReplyDeleteIf Waller dies and someone recruits Lyla back to run ARGUS in a different way than Waller's methods it could work. Lyla is a soldier and she is Harbinger.. she can't simply sit at home looking after Sara. She will get a new job next season for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhy? Thank God we didn't see that. I was mad enough already.
ReplyDeleteIf there is a fight against Ra's they will team up. But I hope at the end of the season Oliver at least try to put Malcolm's ass in jail.
ReplyDeleteOnly two more days until all the CW shows will be done with breaks for the remainder of the season !!!
ReplyDelete( 5 episodes - Arrow, Jane the Virgin, Reign, The Originals, & The Vampire Diaries / 6 episodes - Supernatural & The Flash )
My very first thought is that it was Felicity but, I like the idea of it being Lyla.
ReplyDeletevery true, she would be redundant.
ReplyDeleteNo she still really hates him.
ReplyDeleteHe probably told Oliver. Since he no longer cares about watching them.
ReplyDeleteProbably so he could get their support in a fight against Ra's. That and so they wouldn't bother him. And Malcolm loves to troll.
ReplyDeletewell, I think if Laurel was gone, the show wouldn't lose anything.
ReplyDeleteYou tell 'em, Graydon lol
ReplyDelete"And Malcolm loves to troll." I wonder where he got that from...
ReplyDeleteOh that'll go well.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there will be a really ATOM-centered episode. Maybe on the new show, but not on Flash or Arrow.
ReplyDeleteCan you lay out in detail why you hate Palmer? Just so I can understand it fully.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Hmm well I guess she has access to other timelines/universes. To be honest I only caught like 80% of that promo.
ReplyDeleteWell it's the CW hit show this season, they're having an event crossover and the season is gearing to an end... I get it...
ReplyDeleteCthulhu?
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's a different timeline, just the future.
ReplyDeleteEobard killing Cisco never happened in the timeline we're in now.
ReplyDeleteI can but I won't. I'm tired of writing the same list every few days. I'm tired of always explaining myself. I hate him and that's that. I shouldn't be forced to explain why I don't like him; there's no rule that says I should love him and if I don't then I have to justify my unfathomable hatred for a very problematic character.
ReplyDeleteI know it won't go well.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm killed Sara and used Thea just to protect his ass. He will hurt someone next time it will help his cause. Do you truly think a villain like Malcolm would go on with his guilt trip and stay clean?
Exactly, how is he going to see something that never happened?
ReplyDeleteIn that case Eobard knows about the other timeline. And she must have access because she helped Eobard build the PA even though Wells died which should've erased any info about it.
ReplyDeleteThere's a spoiler that he'll see what happened.
ReplyDeleteThat I don't disagree.
ReplyDeleteAs someone that really tried to truthfully ask this and caused this reaction I think I know "why".
ReplyDeleteLooking at Ray he's a 1:1 copy of early Felicity: cocky, fun loving and quirky.
And before anyone says they're not alike in any way here's a little list of similar characteristics:
barely developed backstory in early appearances: check
computer savy: check
quirky and in many ways "weird" behaviour: check
funny one liners: check
more depth than genuine care for one single issue: check)
That's not what I was implying. I just wanted to understand both sides of the argument. Sorry if I offended you.
ReplyDeleteThey should try I agree entirely Malcolm deserves punishment.
ReplyDeleteOh they're alike.
ReplyDeleteI'm aware. I would think that's the most famously known person who uses that term though.
ReplyDeleteI love Ray's self-righteousness though, haha. To me, he's been a phenomenal Ray Palmer and he goes in the category of actors who plays one persona really well, but not the other(like Tobey Maguire who plays a great Peter Parker but not Spider-Man). His attitude as Ray Palmer shouldn't be like that as Atom.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't offended at all and I'm sorry if my comment sounded confrontational, my irritation wasn't at all aimed at you.
ReplyDeleteYeah I gotta admit he has been all those (I disagree on sexism though) and to be fair he did think Oliver was a killer. I also regard Oliver as having all those traits at some point or another (except sexism). You forgot stubborn.
ReplyDeleteI mean its not like Ray cared that he electrocuted Roy. So one could say anybody coming into his path is fair game to Ray.
ReplyDeleteAs a woman that line about girls being flattered that he spent that much money on them highly offended me.
ReplyDeleteWell stubbornness is something I can forgive, no one is more stubborn than Oliver.
ReplyDeleteThe frustrating thing is that the producers refuse to admit the character's problems, smh.
ReplyDelete"His attitude as Ray Palmer shouldn't be like that as Atom." how?
Arrogant- the whole I can beat Ra's al Ghul stuff.
ReplyDeleteUnprofessional- he slept with Isabelle
Hypocritical- any talk of killing by other vigilantes half the time, his secret and Palmer's secret
Self-righteous- his whole crusade
Stalker- season one Oliver
Pushy- he's really assertive with his opinions
Creepy- dude season one Oliver
I love the guy but man he is flawed. And I love that. Though his sleeping with Laurel in season one was so douchey.
Also on a somewhat unrelated not. Just watched a few clips from early season one and it's jarring how emotion and humanity less Oliver was back then compared to now. It's really good testament to the writing and Amell's performance just how different he is.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's one of the reasons I'm glad they dropped it they were f*cking toxic.
ReplyDeleteI get why that line is not great (well I don't fully because I'm a guy but I agree it's not good). True he did go too far with Roy, but I have to point out Roy did look like he was going to attack him and he perceived that he was an accomplice in Oliver's actions. But he did go too far.
ReplyDeleteBarry's starting to look like Oliver
ReplyDeleteWhen he's Atom, he shouldn't be as cocky as he is when he's just Ray. I'm specifically looking at "Suicidal Tendencies" when he was snarky up the butthole towards Arrow and Arsenal.
ReplyDeletemaybe to some but I have never read/seen Harry Potter.
ReplyDeleteThis is where we disagree.
ReplyDeleteUGH, don't remind me. I never thought I could hate him more but that episode proved me right.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I disapprove of half the things Oliver did in season 1. It took me a while to warm up to him and Dig and Felicity were the main reason I started to. I pretty much hated all Oliver/Laurel interactions so everything he did then is a no no for me.
ReplyDeleteWhen I said arrogant I meant how he always brags about how much money he has and how smart he is or even how cocky he was when he fought Oliver and Roy. It's unsavory and distasteful. Oliver just has a huge ego and boy did he learn his lesson lol
Oliver is a hypocrite that's true but he's not pushy.
ReplyDeleteHave they actually ever told us how many people has died during the particle accelerator explosion? Lot of people has become meta humans but has lot died? I was just wondering.
ReplyDeleteLol I was way off. It was 17. But still it's Thawne. He has no humanity, no remorse or care beyond hurting Barry. He'll even murder a child. At least with Malcolm there's a level of humanity and care for his family and boundaries even he wouldn't cross.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Your hatred is up there with some on here who hate Laurel.
ReplyDeleteI get what you are saying. After reading some Flash comics and Flashpoint I can see Eobard is a maniac. But the show is not yet there. He has not surpassed Malcolm Merlyn yet but I am sure once they do the Flashpoint Paradox on the show he will overtake Merlyn in insanity.
ReplyDeleteI consider Merlyn more like Lex Luther.
ReplyDeleteYou think it is the effect of Wells's DNA that comes across as compassion from Eobard? So he got some of Wells's personality along with his features. Hmm.. Also do you thing that DNA copying thing copied Wells's scientific knowledge also to Eobard? How else was he able to replicate all the scientific achievements of Wells?
ReplyDeleteActually I think Kreisberg or Cavanagh said that. Possibly, but Eobard is a brilliant scientist (particularly with the Speed Force) and I definitely think he could have absorbed the knowledge, but I think his ability to recreate it comes from his obsession with the Flash and Speed Force.
ReplyDeleteI thought Eobard was basically a thug not a brilliant scientist. I heard some one on youtube say that. Its not just replicating of Particle Accelerator right? He has written academic books and is renowned as Harrison Wells. So he needs to have the knowledge.
ReplyDeleteEobard is extremely intelligent and well versed in science (again particuarly with the Speed Force- it's why he's called Professor Zoom) But his knowledge was probably enhanced by Well's own and years of immersion in physics and chemistry in the plan to build Star Labs.
ReplyDeleteSo Eobard is professor Zoom and Hunter Zolomon is just Zoom. I thought the opposite. My belief was Hunter Zolomon was the smart guy.
ReplyDeleteNah. Zolomon was a detective and former federal agent. He's also a really tragic villain. His life was destroyed and so was his sanity and so he basically took up Eobard's mantle to cause misery to Wally West to make him a better hero. He's like a really, really dark anti-villain.
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks. :)
ReplyDelete
