  1. I'm not even surprised that there is another Flash trailer!

  2. "God, there's two of them." I'm so excited for this ep. Love that Felicity and Ray's lightheartedness will balance out Barry's newfound moodiness in relation to Wells. Should be great.

  3. I'm starting to think that Cisco has a bias against any new nicknames that he doesn't come up with.

  4. LOL. "God, there's two of them". Ray - the male version of Felicity.
The look on Barry's face is hilarious. He's probably thinking what all the Olicity shippers are thinking: Raylicity - No way!

  5. Wow, they are really going out of their way to ruin Felicity.

  6. Palmer saying cool not cool is the same as Barry and Cisco..

    ReplyDelete
  7. Barry's turning into Oliver isn't he? maybe not FULLY but he is

    ReplyDelete
  8. "God there's two of them" LOL i thought Caitlin meant two Barrys by being funny superheroes HA! HEY! Palmer said the same thing Barry and Felicity said in the crossover event when hearing about villains, AWESOME!!! still need these 2 shows to get back in sync

  9. Can you blame him for being moody ? His mothers killer is within arms reach and he can't do anything about it. He has so much self control, if I was in Barry's position I would have already given Wells a 700mph falcon punch to the back of the head(or six).

    ReplyDelete
  10. Can u blame him wells his ten times faster and stronger then him in episode nine wells kicked Barry's butt.

    ReplyDelete
  11. No blame necessary. Just a comment on how I'm glad the lighter nature of The Flash (in comparison to the usually darker, grittier Arrow) is holding up despite the recent turn of events. Barry's moodiness is by all means understandable; I'm just glad Felicity and Ray are present -- with Caitlin and Cisco -- to offer some laughable moments.

  12. He's just angry and paranoid. He's not becoming Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Surprised he doesn't hate the Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I say Batman's better.

    ReplyDelete
  15. "God, there's two of them". lmao!!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah because this scene really shatters her character. My God being affectionate with her boyfriend/ someone she cares about physically. Or being perceptive towards her friends and caring about their problems. Or inappropriate sexual innuendo. So unlike her. Really?

    ReplyDelete
  17. "Cool...I mean awful." Awesome. This is going to be a fun episode.

    ReplyDelete
  18. If I was a betting man, this episode is between Arrow's "The Offer" and "Suicidal Tendencies".

    ReplyDelete
  19. I love his attitude towards anyone thinking of names before he does. In that 'Chronicles of Cisco' blog on Tumblr he still talks about how he hates the name Rainbow Raider, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  20. and what's Oliver? angry

    ReplyDelete
  21. It may make sense if it is near the end of episode 17 when Oliver damage the suit? and before the meeting with the Mayor and Cap Lance.......

    ReplyDelete
  22. obviously. Superman is super lame.

    ReplyDelete
  23. God, there is two of them.LMAO.. :D
    Performance issues...
Love Barry/Felicity friendship. That is one relationship that they built up really well.

  24. I think i made a good decision to stop watching Flash until the end of season xD. I am counting down the episodes till Tin Man leaves.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Then it should be Arrow you should stop watching because Ray is going to be there in almost every episode till finale. He will be there in The Flash only for one episode. You don't have to stop the show for him. Just skip the upcoming episode.

    ReplyDelete
  26. No i dont think he will. He will be in 3x19. Maybe a short appearance in 1x20 and 1x23. BR is already shooting a teaser for the spin-off for CW together with CR, CL, AD & WM this weekend. I am already on the Arrow timeline. The next Flash episode would just weird me out. If this episode would have aired before 3x18 i might have watched. This way no thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  27. In this universe our producers have created apparently. Oliver and Ray came to an agreement at the end of episode 17. Which makes him someone who knows Oliver's identity and supports his crusade (as shown by Ray defending Oliver to the mayor). They might not be friends like Barry and Oliver but they are not enemies either.

So BR might not be there from ep 20 to 22. Cool. 20 will be in Nanda Parbat. 21 is Nyssa and Oliver episode. So he comes back to help in the finale. May be he will meet Sara in that episode. They are shooting a teaser. Yay!! Will you be watching the spin off?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I didnt see anything like that happen on my screen. And with the 3x17 ending flowing right into 3x18. And 1x18 taking place before 3x18 this whole episode its just an attempt to promote and pimp out Ray for the spin-off. Wish the writers would have found a more organic ways to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. He's not lame. But Batman is Batman.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Traumatized, angry, afraid, not in touch with feelings etc.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Supes is cool, but Batman is Batman. That and his villains are cooler.

    ReplyDelete
  32. There it is! There's the Ray i want to see... The wonders taking a character off a love triangle does! That scene was just hilarious! Jajajaja

    ReplyDelete
  33. Weird love triangle though. Since Oliver basically took himself out of the equation for the longest time and pushed those two.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He's in one episode, why would you stop watching the Flash? I don't get that. Even if you hate the guy, there's still the Barry knowing about Eobard arc.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm more pumped to see the Barry investigates Eobard stuff, but Atom stuff does seem awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ugh. I just can't. Smmfh. Sigh..it's almost over.

    ReplyDelete
  37. "Pumped to see the Barry investigates Aboard stuff" Yes! Right there with you.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That was just cringeworthy.

    ReplyDelete
  39. That doesn't make sense because I don't see there being a day or two between that scene and then where they're at the Mayor's office.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't think it has anything to do with the shows being in sync as they are that Arrow's timeline seems to be two episodes ahead. They should've calculated all of this before they even fleshed out both seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's not innuendo, it's stating flat-out that he gets it up and gives it to her good. That's not innuendo. In front of friendly colleagues. I'm sure if your coworker walked up to you and said "Hey, my boyfriend got it up hard and gave it to me good last night" you'd be just thrilled, right?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Their conservative was suggestive of their sex. No explicit details. And no out there for her. Much more importantly, still not a good counterpoint to how this ruins the character. I would be (if I had a job), but Felicity'e been making people friends, co-workers, bosses uncomfortable for the past three seasons. So it's pretty her.

    ReplyDelete
  43. God damn I mispelled Eobard. The nerd in me is shamed.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well at least you know what happens in 3x20.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The love triangle is Oliver/Felicity/The Arrow. When he is on Arrow, Ray is nothing more than a "reaction" of that love triangle: Oliver says he can't be with Felicity, Ray says he can; Oliver doesn't share his tought with Felicity, Ray does; Oliver doesn't ask for Felicity's(and the whole team) opinion, Ray says he treasures her opinion.

Arrow didn't let Ray be his own character because he is proving how he is the better person compared to Oliver, so that when Felicity chooses Oliver her decision will have more weight. But because of that they relegate his story of becoming The Atom for 15 episodes, until 3x17.

Now, on The Flash, Oliver isn't around. They don't have the need to do that so they can center on who Ray is, give him depth and what being a hero means to him.

Look at that clip, those are two character who are together and being funny. He doesn't need to have a clip paper on his forehead saying "I'm a consolation prize".

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't think it was just Olicity his use. I think it was also just planning. And honestly I'm kinda happy it is happening so late. Even though it was massively disconnected. Any Palmer stuff really before 3x16 with him as a hero just would've detracted from everything else.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Facepalm. Stupid auto mixed with morphine. = /

    ReplyDelete
  48. TBH, i'm actually not focused on that at all. I'm not looking forward to that, honestly. I'm looking for something else. But either way, iI know what happens in the season finale...THAT is what i'm looking forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Idk, for me it's like they gave more importance to the love triangle than his journey. We could have seen flashbacks about him and Anna, him going outside with prototypes of the suit and failing badly, etc. But nope, a love interest he is.

I'm not saying make him a hero in 3x02, but show more of him than being a love interest. Because from 3x02 to 3x16(and back at it on 3x18) he was really shallow.

I already love him in that clip. I need more of him, being him. I think 3x19 will be really good for him, too.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Its not about the character. Its about how i am already on the Arrow timeline and this episode confuses me with how it doesnt fit anywhere in the Arrow timeline.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Nah my problem is the timeline. I already saw Felicity run out of the room from Ray, and now they show me this episode. And i am like what the frack. And them saying Atom is a friend of Arrow. In what AU did i stumble upon.

    ReplyDelete
  52. If Ray wouldnt have been pushed so freaking hard i might have given it a chance. But i dont think my love for Sara is strong enough, especially the way the Lance family drama is developing again this season.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Hahahaha Umm what? When did Felicity "run out of the room from Ray?" That didn't happen? = /.....yes the timeline sucks, and yes that "friend line" makes me want to cut off my ears!! And his appearance makes me want to blow my head off, BUT, I still stick it out and watch the show. BOTH shows. I couldn't purposely skip an episode for ANY reason. But that TL shit, sigh...yeah the network messed up with that one. I've just learned to say, f*ck it. Who knows, maybe it's more explained in Arrow anyway? But tbh, I'm not too thrilled with this crossover anyway. For our third crossover, this is definitely not what I had in mind. Heavy sigh. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I can understand. Why would you want to watch a spin off where the main character is going to be someone who you dislike. I wondered did you feel tempted to check it out due to other characters.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think that happened because BR was unavailable due to his movie commitments. Or if it is the alternate universe ATOM might not even exist.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I do agree with you. The time line fumbling and lack of Oliver/Ray friendly interaction does cause this episode and the dialogues look dubious. The only way to enjoy it is forget Arrow timeline and enjoy it as a stand alone Flash episode.

    ReplyDelete
  57. That I agree with. At least we'll get stuff like that in the spin-off.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Good stuff. Had it for leg surgery. Wait why are you on morphine? Procedure?

    ReplyDelete
  59. I love the moments when I don't have to explain myself with you. It's refreshing. Relief Sigh. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yeah it is good stuff. But now I wish they'd increase it. (I take it every 4 Hrs if needed). Yup, I had two procedure whilst here. (A blood transfusion. Never had one before, that was not fun. And a colonoscopy, I have UC) i'M Hoping tomorrow I can finally go home. It's been 9 days now. My patience is wearing thin. And I'm trying to maintain the "hospital bitch patient syndrome" But the nurses are really nice, which makes this whole shitty experience a little more tolerable. But I REFUSE to miss anymore of my shows. Yes I have TV, but it's impossible to enjoy a full hour or two by myself w/o interruption. Sigh

    ReplyDelete
  61. Shannon if it relates to Superheroes or comics you'll probably never have to explain yourself. Btw, have you seen Daredevil?

    ReplyDelete
  62. But with Marc saying 1x18 of Flash takes place before Arrow 3x18 i am sorry i am not gonna make ridicilous explanation for this screw up TL. If AK went in to fix the script he should have done a better. Crap even i could have come up with a better scenario.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I was gonna check it out for Caity, HawkGirl & Rip Hunter. But the Ray show on both Arrow & Flash has been too much.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'm a big fan of Felicity and even I cringe every time she discusses ATOM package. No more please. BR reaction was funny enough.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Eh, it's Andrew, I barely listen to him. Lol Maybe if we actually see it then it'll make more sense. I mean sometimes you actually have to see it to understand it, rather than make sense of it on your own. I'm betting (actually pleading on my knees begging to be right) that there's one specific scene in here, in this episode, that collides with 3x18, something we see that says, "Hey this is right before, blah blah blah." I'll try and spot it. If it's there, I'll tell you. ; )

    ReplyDelete
  66. Good to know. And no. When did that start exactly? This week right? Did only the pilot air? Or has there been more?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Entire season is on Netflix. Or any streaming site.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ok. Cool. I'll check it out this week.

    ReplyDelete
  69. May be he will become much more interesting and better once he starts to hang out with other characters in the new show. It can happen. I am going to watch any way. I will let you know my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think it's a fun little running joke they've created. I hope they keep going back to it once in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I want to see him being upset when other people get their names too, like Hawkgirl for instance.

I also think it'll be funny if someone else ends up naming him when he gets his powers, as in he was too late of thinking of his own name. Or maybe he takes out a notepad of all cool suggestions he's thought of ever since he was a kid.

    ReplyDelete
  72. It would be hilarious if someone beat him to the punch on his own name. He'd probably try to make numerous other suggestions to replace it but they'd never stick and it would frustrate the hell out of him.

    ReplyDelete
  73. That could be a running gag too. Someone like Barry calls him 'Vibe' but Cisco tries to call him something else instead.

    ReplyDelete
  74. And other heroes show up with well-established names and Cisco keeps trying to suggest they change their name to something he believes is an "improvement."

    ReplyDelete
  75. Exactly, haha. Right there, that's how you keep some humor and heart in a show if they ever want to get darker.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I don't know why, but seeing "not in touch with feelings" made me laugh.
