BL Reviews The Big Bang TheoryLeonard and Sheldon:
The men go to UC Berkeley to give a lecture. However, they realize they are ahead of schedule. Therefore, they used this time to plan on going to Skywalker Ranch in hopes to meet George Lucas. Sheldon gets tased by security after he tries to get in there without permission. Later on, the guys (Leonard was an accomplice despite he had no involvement of violating the property) get a visit to the detention center. The guys get off easy but they will be arrested if they attempt to come back, which leads Sheldon to impersonate Yoda to get mad at the officer for not letting him at least have a picture with George Lucas. I was disappointed that George Lucas did not appear in the episode after a lot of anticipation based on the episode title itself. However, it was entertaining when Sheldon made references to the popular song from the 70s, "Play that Funky Music" without any meaning to it.
Bernadette/Howard, Penny/Amy, and Raj:
Meanwhile, the others clean out Howard's garage to sell some old items for a garage sale. Later on, Howard gets upset with Bernadette because she wants to sell his Doctor Who TARDIS and doesn't want it in the house. He wants to wait until it's at least worth half of how much he paid for. This causes Penny and Raj to play ping-pong. If Penny wins, Howard must sell it. If not, Bernadette must make him keep it. Even though Raj loses, Howard still wants a rematch so it's now Raj vs. Amy. At a tie score of 10-10, Bernadette lets Amy know that if she loses (despite playing for Howard), she can have the TARDIS machine. Without wasting time, she throws the game and now has it on her bedroom door. The best part of this scene was where Penny made a surprising reference of Game of Thrones because it has dragons and sex in it. Coincidentally, the conflict between the Wolowitzs caused a Game of Thrones-type competition of ping pong, which interested me. While not one of the most memorable episodes, the twist where Amy got the machine instead of Howard wanting to get some profit out of it was real good.
perhaps the best line ever from TBBT- this is my mirror on a stick to check for weirdos in the cubicle next to me
