BL Reviews The Big Bang TheoryI give credit all photos provided by CBS.com and Warner Bros. for their hard work.
Sheldon/Amy:
Shamy has been my favorite this season especially in the episode. I loved how Amy tried cheer up Sheldon after he found out the University did not invite him to a weekend physics event at one of Richard Feynman's old home. After he shared to her that this situation is like the time when his brother and sister left him out of building forts growing up, she suggested building a fort together. This cheered him up. Therefore, this causes them to go the distance by having her sleep over in the fort for the night. After all of these years of dating, I am so happy they spent the night together even though they agreed their sleep over to be G-rated. I hope someday their relationship is more like Penny/Leonard (in other words, in the PG-13 level).
Howard and his half-brother:
Meanwhile, Howard gets a knock from his door to find out that a man claims to have the same father (Sam Wolowitz) as him. His name is Josh. At first, Howard is shaken up with it but eventually invites him into come in. Josh reveals that he studies oceanography in San Diego. Raj doesn't believe that Josh is related to him. Originally, Howard wanted Josh to leave until he gets excited how amazing it is that his own half-brother is an astronaut. They eventually get along and bond together. It ends with the men hugging together. It was a sweet moment where we FINALLY saw Howard's other family member.
Penny/Leonard + Wil Wheaton:
Elsewhere, Wil Wheaton comes over to Penny's apartment for a podcast to take questions from other callers about "Serial Ape-ist 2". During this, Kevin Smith from the Clerks series is a huge fan of Penny's performance and wants her to audition for "Claerks 3". Later on, the couple argue about her future carer but it's only because he is protecting her after her other acting disappointments. He is now okay if she auditions for a Kevin Smith movie. While the other plots of this episode was real good and it was wonderful to see Wil Wheaton, I still believe that Penny and Leonard's chemistry needs to improve especially for an engaged couple. Them arguing way too much especially this season has gotten on my nerves. Though the show has seen its better days, it's certainly getting a little better every week after the disappointment episode of "The Leftover Thermalization".
Ending:
The episode ends with Leonard finding out that Sheldon used his sheets to build the fort. Sheldon invites him to the fort but he still can't sit in his special spot.
This was a very good episode; the Leonad and Penny storyline was fine, but could have used some tweaks there and there. Other than that I really liked it, and I laughed a lot.
ReplyDeleteGreat review by the way!
