I'm so tired of the lying and keeping secrets. Sam bitched out Dean for keeping secrets and yet it's ok for him to keep secrets and lie to Dean. John was terrible for as Sam assumed was John wanting revenge yet Sam getting back into Hunting to revenge Jess and he's the hero? Carver has to stop the soap opera and get back to the fantasy Kripke started.
Can not help but bring up something about John where Sam is concerned that has zero relevance to anything going on. As for lying well your teflon golden boy is keeping a whopper from Sam and as for bitching well Dean has no issues doing that either.
Zero that much I doubt. Sam has repeatedly accused John and Dean and then thought nothing of doing the same. They do it and in his opinion they're villains but he's a good guy. Dean has never had his brother say this person tried to murder me and then proceed to do the most asinine thing possible by allying with the said attempted murderer. You're right Sam is teflon golden boy.
They lie to each other a lot, usually to protect the other. Dean is being pretty honest to Sam this season. He even told Sam about his encounter with Rowena and Crowley, being scared and how that book was tempting him. As far as I remember, the only thing he's keeping from him is Cain's words.
I'm not judging Sam's choice, though. I understand why he's keeping it from Dean, doing desperate things to save his brother. Things might go south and the consequences terrible, but I'm on his side. Anything to save Dean. :)
The other lie from Dean is to himself - that this could end any way but horribly for all involved. I don't like Sam going to Rowena but they're all in a no-win situation. What I don't like is how Carver seems to delight in Sam "deceiving" Dean - like there's nothing else going on here that he can think of to talk about.
You know, you can replace Sam for Dean and Dean for Sam in this statement and have it make perfect sense:
"Zero that much I doubt. Dean has repeatedly accused John and Sam and then thought nothing of doing the same. They do it and in his opinion they're villains but he's a good guy. Sam has never had his brother say this person tried to murder me [Cas when he broke Sam's wall believing it would kill him] and then proceed to do the most asinine thing possible by allying with the said attempted murderer. You're right Dean is teflon golden boy."
Yeah, I agree about Dean lying to himself. I don't think he even believed it. I think he wants it to end badly only for himself. Something that's impossible because just like Sam's fate would have an awful impact to him, whatever happens to him will badly affect Sam. These Winchesters... ♥
Ugh... This is one of the reasons I can't stand Carver. He shouldn't be allowed to give interviews. (Besides, I don't like to see him speak. Sorry if I offend anyone.)
Yes, I can watch the show and feel sympathetic toward both Sam and Dean (a credit to Jared and Jensen), but Carver appears here to be taking pleasure in the conflict.
Carver always does. He's also awful to explain his storylines. Jensen and Jared should be the ones doing all the PR of the show. I mean. I know it's not their responsibility... I'm just saying they're way better at this. :)
Is it me or anyone get the feeling Dean is changing slightly guessing stil him with a little demon thrown in its his smile when he gets in car with sammy. Asking about the case of course poor sam does not want to be caught in web of lies. I want to know what he tells Dean and guessing Dean is now catching on that now he is following him?
I understand they 'lie' to each other a lot it is the way those lies are approached that creates the problems.By focusing on Sam lying it is making it look like his lies are something wrong that he is doing to his brother.
Dean's secret could result in Sam being killed I think there is a huge difference in the two things and after last season and how something that was not his fault got swung back round on Sam and Dean effectivley got away with it I will confess I have little to no time for this kind of approach this season it just feels like the same thing every season even when Sam is not the one in the wrong.
Yeah, I said in a previous comment that I don't like Carver's take either in pretty much everything. He makes me angry instead of excited and IMO he doesn't even know what he's saying or doing. Sometimes what he says is actually the opposite of what happened or is happening, so I try not to pay too much attention to his ramblings.
Not sure find out in this eps it might be Dark Dynasty he might find out because you have Charlie working with Rowena to figure out what it means. So everyone is getting involved in web of lies to save dean. And Dean has a run in with the stynes who can still track the book
Nope considering Dean didn't say John is at fault for their being Hunters Sam did. It was Sam who assumed once Azazel was dead Dean as well as Sam would live a 'normal' life when Dean has let him know being a Hunter is normal to Dean.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

When there is Dean the episode is sure interesting and exiciting

ReplyDeleteI have to stop watching these producer's previews.

It's ridiculously clear Rowena's lying when she tells Sam she'll decode the book and give him the cure.
ReplyDeleteAnd boy, do they enjoy making Sam pile up those lies. Meanwhile, unsurprisingly, Dean has never been so honest lately.
I have a feeling this one is going to be painful to watch.
