I just hope, even if she ends up dead (which I wouldn't like), that by the end Emily fulfills her plan and takes down the final people in her Revengenda (by that I mean Victoria and Mason, not Margaux and Louise lol). She can not end up being guilty behind bars with people in her Revengenda being free and without and X on their face (or second X in Mason's case lol).
Last night after Secrets and Lies a voice over said something along the lines of stay tuned for the final 3 episodes of Revene of the season. I thought it was interesting that it said season and not just final 3 episodes like ABC has been promoting it.
Doubtful. I think Victoria's dunzo. At least in real-time. I think Emily may be talking about White Gold. *wink wink* Margaux has somewhat of a knowledge about her whereabouts and she sees right through here in the prison cell.
But they didn't say SERIES finale. I guess that's exactly why they put 'before the FINALE' only - 'cause they have no idea if they'll get a short 5th season...Hmm.
Well, technically speaking - no. If they would say 'season finale' without knowing the fate of the show and then it would turn out it was canceled - a lot of fans would be disappointed and would say that they actually got their hopes up for nothing. If they would say 'series finale' and it would turn out that it is renewed...well, not really a bad thing in the end, but frustrating at the time, don't you think? So neither of those scenarios would sit well with the fanbase, whereas saying simply 'finale' leaves them in sort of a safe-zone, no promises and no doom-spelling. It's all up in the air, I guess. I hope so.
But you know as well as I do that people tend to read into it too much, as proved above. So were ABC to say season finale they WOULD jump to a conclusion that it's not the last season, wouldn't they?
No. I'm sure they are fully aware of the renewal/cancellation business. Plus if ABC was trying to not give too much hope, it would have done the same with its other shows.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteEmily says here that Victoria is alive...really?
ReplyDeleteI thought in a interview with the actress she said she was actually dead
ReplyDeleteI knew Victoria would not die she framing Emily but she will die by end of season for real.
ReplyDeleteVictoria faked her death
ReplyDeleteYep I say she faked her death.
ReplyDeleteObliviously she was under contract say she was dead.
ReplyDeleteThe promo said, "The last episode before the finale" while the promos for other shows on ABC said, "1 episode left until the season finale"
ReplyDeleteThey could've said series, it's pretty obvious the show is not comming back

ReplyDeleteLast week after Secrets and Lies the voice over said "Stay tuned for the first of the final 4 episodes of Revenge"
ReplyDeleteThat's why I thought it was interesting that they changed the wording this week.

ReplyDeleteHow does ABC not have an idea. Even if they don't have any idea, that would have said "season finale"

ReplyDeleteNo matter if a show is getting cancelled or renewed, its last episode it's season is going to be a SEASON FINALE
ReplyDeleteRevenge has been on Abc for 4 years, so they should at least have the decency to say series finale.

ReplyDeleteAgain.
