ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think that they told the producers that this is the final season and just didn't tell the public. This sounds like a series finale title especially when you consider the quote from the pilot "Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.

ReplyDeleteTwo words two graves. Hmmm. Considering the way EVC felt about doing a S4, hopefully they go out with a satisfying conclusion. Nothing is really left for Emanda's journey. Everything has been revealed, addressed etc.
ReplyDeleteI am more confident it will be one now. We don't know for sure but it seems much more likely. At least this makes it less likely that they end it on cliffhanger because it really makes it seem like they are planning an ending.

ReplyDeleteI cannot watch a show for a ship, it is not in me. Also, I am indifferent to the Bonnie character. They've killed her off and grieved her and brought her back too much for me to care anymore. I don't dislike her or anything but she is just "there" for me, meh. I have always adored Caroline though, so there is that, but even that feels strange to me sans her friendship with Elena. It's really odd for me.

They literally brought Private Practice back to a farewell 13 episode season after it had been announced that Kate Walsh would leave after those 13 and the ratings had declined significantly and they still denied it was the final season until the middle of the fall.

ReplyDeleteSo, Revenge was such an amazing show to me! It Made me actually interested in watching television and coming to this site. It had awesome moments that i will never forget. For me it was Sitting down every monday watchIng Emily and the graysons. I will always love emily thorne and truely miss her. I will miss Victoria and her awesome dialogue and one liners. "Do rot in hell" you guys remember that :D

You know, whether it's coming to an end or it'll stick around for a couple more seasons, I will always love it and be thankful to the great writers that brought it to us, and for making me a part of such a beloved and amazing Revenge-family. We might have lost the show, but we will always have the beautiful memories of it.

ReplyDeleteI'm really bummed because I love Revenge, but this season has been a huge letdown for me. I wanted a season 5 so it would redem the show for me and end on a bang. Maybe the episodes to come will be truly exciting, but this season as a whole just won't come up as good as it could been for me :/.

ReplyDeleteI liked this season despite its obvious downs. for me it is extra sad bbecause i only got to experence the time where revenge was doing badly in ratings. I binge watched the first two seasons and in season 3 i did not know what ratings were :D. I will miss our little Revenge Community and definitely the characters on the show. I mean there is only one Emily thorne, victoria grayson and nolan rosa

With Jack, it's always as if she has to prove something and if he always thinks bad about her and all that. I find her more free with Ben, even though he is just a lower version of Aiden.

ReplyDeleteUnless they kill Elena off, I doubt we'll see Bamon as a romantic ship. Even if she does,, is a long shot, I mean, how long did Damon wait for Katherine, even at the beginning when he thought she was dead? Nope, I highly doubt that will happen. If she's cured and compelled to forget like some have suggested, chances are that by the series finale she'll have remember on her own thus time and comes back for Damon. And if she dies, maybe in the finale they'll give a glimpse of Bamon to placate some fans (we know Julie LOVES catering to the fans). You really can't spend 6 seasons establishing a ship and then have it be meaningless just because you refuse to let the show go with what little dignity it has left (not that it has much left at all...)

ReplyDeleteThey announced that HTGAWM will return this fall so maybe they'll also announce if it's a series finale. Based on the title, it look like a series finale so if it is, both ABC and the writers already know the show is ending so I can see ABC promote the episode as a finale.

ReplyDeleteEpisode 4.23 is apparently a retrospective of the series, and nothing to do directly with 4.22. I have a feeling ABC ordered a 'filler' episode for their schedule. I am not at all convinced they plan to cancel it.

It's not for nothing, though. It's full circle back to the opening of the first episode ever and the Confucius quote: "Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves."
ReplyDeleteFor me the title of the episode 4.23 "Two Graves" means, the end of the story, otherwise, the end of the show ! It sounds like the writers knew about the show's future, and decided to end it properly and with dignity.

Just when I thought that my day couldn't get any worse after Revenges fate gets sealed Guest officially shows up again on Tvbtn. Now I have a good reason not to visit Tvbtn, until Guest gets banned I'm officially calling of that site, and will not be returning until Guest gets banned.
