Last Week's Final Adjusted Ratings
About the Daily Ratings
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.

If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.

Grimm's ratings aren't pretty; it needs to bounce back for NBC's sake. Otherwise, moving it after The Blacklist would be the smartest choice.
ReplyDeleteCBS lineup did ok, and LSM keeps doing solid for ABC Friday
Good for TAR, it seems to be doing better this season. I still wish they hadn't moved it, though, because it would do much better in its old Sunday slot.
ReplyDeleteHappy that Grimm was steady.
ReplyDeleteLMS/Cristela did decent.
This was actually a decent night. I was expecting much worse compared to how the rest of the week went.
ReplyDeleteWinners: Blue Bloods
Honorable Mention: The Amazing Race, Last Man Standing
Loses: No one really
This state for CBS looks much better for H50.
ReplyDeleteWas this a LMS/Cristela crossover? Cristela seems completely dependant on LMS.
ReplyDeleteCristela :(. Even though I know it's getting cancelled I still wish the crossover gave it more of a spike.
ReplyDeleteIt was.
ReplyDeleteFOX actually is doing well with the movies, surprised.
ReplyDeleteIt's a dang good thing that total viewers don't matter since Fresh Off The Boat was ABC's least-watched comedy this week.
ReplyDeleteIt is true. I think ABC should adopt the same strategy for Sundays during event season next year.
ReplyDeleteWas the crossover last night?
ReplyDeleteIt was.
ReplyDeleteYep. Only two episodes left now
ReplyDeleteOh then i Would have expected higher numbers
ReplyDeleteWow so fast :/ everything is ending
ReplyDeleteThink of it this way: it still beat Laura despite being on Fridays. And people actually want NBC to renew that and move it to Fridays!
ReplyDeleteDo you watch Cristela?
ReplyDeleteNo i do not but i realize how all shows are nearing their finales
ReplyDeleteDamn Blue Bloods, is this show that good, to be constantly the most watched show on Friday?
ReplyDeleteOkay, yeah, the end of the season is indeed near :)
ReplyDeleteWOW, Fox aired 21 Jump Street? Isn't that movie too harsh for network TV? Was it edited somehow? I mean, there is way too much profanity.
ReplyDeleteJust thought you may want to know. ABC ran a promo for Beyond the Tank last night during Shark Tank saying to premieres May 1st after Shark Tank!
ReplyDeleteIt also said The Goldbergs would be new for the rest of the year.
I think it Beyond the Tank may take over Cristela's slot.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly steady night.
ReplyDeleteGuess our total friday viewership will always be around the same numbers.
Hello Larry impersonation:
ReplyDeleteThe Sinking Ship Fresh off the Titanic is a total flop, least watched ABC comedy AGAIN.
Yet more people want this renewed than Cristela and Mysteries of Laura.
I like your comments so much.
ReplyDeleteWow they like promoting The Goldbergs, if this was in the same promo.
ReplyDeleteA week for Wednesday it will air two episodes due to scheduling issues. I think The Middle is als new the rest of the year but I could be wrong.
I had a quick conversation with someone last night about this and they didn't know either: does this mean Beyond at 10 or 9? My guess is 9 since the comedies will have ended by then.
Im surprised too, looks like DST and Spring does not affect Fridays like the other days.
ReplyDeleteGrimm was pre-empted in St. Louis for a silly baseball pre-season show.
ReplyDeleteFurious 7 got $68M up 75% (!) over the first day of Fast & Furious 6, which earned $38.7M. Looks like it affected the Thursdays a big.
ReplyDeleteIs that a big market?
ReplyDeleteSt Louis loves their Cardinals that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe preemption probably won't make a difference for Grimm's final rating.
Renewing Laura in any capacity is the worst thing Greenblatt could do to save face for this season.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I saw rumors over at TVBTN but I wasn't aware that it was an actual promo who said that. They are probably shifting Shark to 8pm then. I think this is a poor use of Beyond the Tank but if it is just to get it off the ground and then use it elsewhere (such as summer schedule) I am good with it.
ReplyDeleteRegarding The Goldbergs, I have no clue what ABC is doing with the Wednesday comedies anymore. In two weeks they will do TM | TG | MF (R) | TG. For what purpose I have no idea...
Thanks for the info btw ;)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, half hours?

Do you think The Blacklist will get S4? Maybe Netflix if not NBC? Next year?
ReplyDeleteThe Blacklist is 100% sure getting a 4th season, on NBC.
ReplyDeletebtw did Robert Carlyle said if he'll be in S5 OUAT or not? What are your thoughts?
ReplyDeleteThat's a bit grim for Grimm.
ReplyDeletewoah those repeats beat flash repeat episode
ReplyDeleteA Dateline repeat an hour later tied Grimm. Ouch. NBC killed Grimm with this scheduling move. I'm not surprised at all and I think that we all saw it coming. The best thing NBC can do is announce a final season and move on.
ReplyDeleteThe Mysteries Of Laura is a short term fix.
ReplyDeleteIn the long term, whenever NBC gets some dramas going and actually hitting, I fully expect them to start shoving Wolf's material to Fridays and just use Wolf/Dateline as their Friday shows. It could have happened this year if something worked, but that didn't happen. If they can get 2 or so dramas working next year + Chicago Med, perhaps then.
It got renewed for a 3rd season, so a 4th one is guaranteed for syndication.
ReplyDeleteHere is the promo: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=961293183881820
ReplyDeleteThank you Babar!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome.
ReplyDeleteABC called it a three week event, so it looks like it will air three days a week.
ABC called it a three week event, so it looks like it will air three days a week. Wonder where they will schedule it on other nights.
ReplyDeleteIt was the 21st biggest market last year so likely to be about the same this year. Here's the breakdown: http://www.nielsen.com/content/dam/corporate/us/en/docs/solutions/measurement/television/2013-2014-DMA-Ranks.pdf
ReplyDeleteApparently they pre-empted a new Grimm and then showed a Dateline repeat afterwards, which annoys me to no end.
ReplyDeleteI think three week event means it will air for three weeks, not that it will air three days a week.
ReplyDeleteyay
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those really old people who grew up watching Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights. Maybe as a companion to OUAT, something like that, although with the availability of the Disney Channel on cable now, might not be as much of a draw. Didn't have that as an option back then.
ReplyDeleteIn ABC press note there is only Cristela and how it rose 25 percent and had 11 week high in demo. Weird they didnt mention LMS,which is the reason why it rose.
