Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. These overnights are your first look at the ratings and a precursor to what could lie ahead. And we take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence.

    -Winners:
“NCIS” (CBS), “Dancing With the Stars 10th Anniversary Special” (ABC), “The Voice” (NBC), “NCIS: New Orleans” (CBS)

    -Honorable Mention:
    “Chicago Fire” (NBC)

    -Losers (excluding repeats):
“Undateable” (NBC), “New Girl” (Fox), “One Big Happy” (NBC), “Weird Loners” (Fox)

    ———-

    Ratings Breakdown:
ABC got a boost care of the “Dancing With the Stars 10th Anniversary Special,” which finished second in the 8 p.m. hour with a 7.2 rating/12 share in the household overnights. Tops in the time period, of course, was “NCIS” on CBS at a 9.4/15, but a 6.5/10 for third-place “The Voice” should be more than enough for the singing competition to lead in all the key young adult demographics.

Despite the improved lead-in support, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” on ABC only had a slight bump from one week earlier, with a distant second-place 3.3/ 5 in the overnights from 9-10 p.m. And it led into a third-place 4.3/ 7 for a special edition of “20/20” at 10 p.m., themed Captive: A Journey of Survival and Hope.

At 9 p.m. on CBS was freshman “NCIS”: New Orleans,” which fits like a glove out of parent “NCIS” at an 8.7/14. And that led into on-the-fence “Person of Interest” at a 5.3/ 9 at 10 p.m. (#1), which dipped by 40 percent from the 9:30 p.m. portion of “NCIS: New Orleans” (8.8/14).

Airing out of “The Voice” on NBC was sophomore sitcom “Undateable” at a 3.0/ 5 (#3), which held only 45 percent of the 8:30 p.m. portion of the singing competition. And that led into the season (or, more likely, series) finale of recently introduced sitcom “One Big Happy” (#3: 2.2/ 3 at 9:30 p.m.), followed by “Chicago Fire” at a second-place 4.7/ 8 at 10 p.m.

Elsewhere, tired “Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox (#4t: 2.6/ 4 at 8 p.m.) led into sitcoms “New Girl” (#4: 1.7/ 3) and recent entry “Weird Loners” (#5: 1.1/ 2) from 9-10 p.m, which is an absolute goner. And The CW’s solid “The Flash” (#4t: 2.6/ 4 at 8 p.m.) led into a 1.2/ 2 (#5) for new drama “iZombie,” which was flat from last week.

Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.

Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).

  5. Was surprised when it came up in my twitter feed.

  6. So how do you think Agents of Shield did last night? I hope it is up from last week.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hard to tell, that uptick in the HH may have been just the older audience of DWTS.
I think it could get a 1.7, but I don't see it rising past that (though I would love for it to do it)

  8. Was hoping the DWTS special would do better but probably a 1.5 considering its old skew. It was a really great show.

  9. Hoping for at least 1.5 for POI. That was an awesome episode last night.

  15. AOS ratings are getting kinda boring now they're pretty steady. I hate this small period when shows are finishing up but it's still too early for Summer shows to start and there's less and less to watch :P

    ReplyDelete
  16. Im glad their steady :D

    ReplyDelete
  17. Can't wait to see it!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. AOS isn't a show I'm that bothered about but even though The 100 ratings were steady every week I was still so anxious to see them!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Was there an end credits scene for last night's episode of AoS? My video cut off again. Just a yes or no answers, don't wanna spoil anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "And that led-in to on the fence 'Person of Interest'" given the fact that it is CERTAIN RENEWAL and apparently already renewed? Yeah, on the fence my ass LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, quite early.

    ReplyDelete
  22. How is it certain renewal?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Poi will be renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ah cool. That's rare. There is almost always an end credits scene.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's their highest rated 10PM show after NCIS: LA

    ReplyDelete
  26. I expect it to be renewed (but probably moved to another day/time) but it still hasn't been announced.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The last actual scene of the episode was with Raina. After that was Aou footage similar to what they did with Winter Soldier.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It has been unofficially. A crew member leaked it, apparently.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Top 25 Numbers have been entered

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah it was so weird, they finished the ep and then poof the promo was there, no transition.

  31. Goodbye Revenge 😢 2011-2015April 29, 2015 at 2:36 PM

    Wow the Flash!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Flash and Aos lock good

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, I think The Flash and AoS will probably be okay in the final numbers. iZombie, you hold onto that .7! I need that .7 to stick!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm waiting to hear it from someone trusted instead of an offhand comment from a random crew member.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Those top 25 numbers seem to High for AoS and The Flash. But since they seem to High i hope iZombie is not. Why do they seem so High while iZombie on par with the other weeks ?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hopefully not again

    ReplyDelete
  37. I hope not, but I think @Babar Suhail Posted last week that it's next three airings would be. I'm not sure though.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The Flash looks awesome and Shield also looks very good again. All is right with the world! Please hold!

    ReplyDelete
  39. We didn't get T25 last week.

    ReplyDelete
  40. We did, I am pretty sure.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yep, just read that. And no worries.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Can anyone explain Those high top 25 numbers for AoS and The Flash. But since they seem so High i hope iZombie is not. Why do they seem so High while iZombie on par with the other weeks ?

    ReplyDelete
  43. The week before last, The Flash had a 1.6 in the T25 and that translated into a 1.4. So most likely a 1.4-1.5 this week.
