  • About the Daily Ratings
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.

The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).

Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.

Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).

Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.

  1. did Marc take a day off again?

  2. So annoying when these delays happen!

    ReplyDelete
  3. He wrote in his newsletter (which was sent about 10 minutes ago) that the HH ratings were not available at the time.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm not sure what Marc has been busy doing

    ReplyDelete
  5. And of course its on a Wednesday. By now everyone here knows how much I anticipate Weenesday ratings lol

    ReplyDelete
  6. And me because of Arrow!

    ReplyDelete
  7. OMG I anticipate the Wednesday ratings every week. I hope ABC and NBC did alright and didn't take a plunge like Tuesday did. Tuesday was a bloodbath.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Except if you were called The Flash ;)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Me because of ABC comedies, Nashville and SVU\CPD!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh yeah, Flash defied the odds yesterday ;)

    Me because of Idol

  12. John Stoned Love Gonzales30 April 2015 at 16:11

    I hope Idol rises again!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I guess you missed the text at the top of the article :)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Will ratings take a hit tonight given that there is the draft and the big Marvel opening ? ( yes I know fan bingo)

    ReplyDelete
  15. It's just a poor excuse.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I did, like always clicked on the Berman article and was kinda dissapointed. Should've read further but you know me, always only getting 60% of the story :P

    ReplyDelete
  17. Me too – Arrow & SPN. I know they're both renewed, but still.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The male skewing shows like TBBT, TB might drop a little but the female skewing shows(GA, Bones) should be fine.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Is it true that Amell and Fox are taping in Canada?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I thought TMNT2 shot in New York?

    ReplyDelete
  21. a 0.1 demo decline is acceptable ,

    ReplyDelete
  22. i somehow have a bad feeling abt this movie

    ReplyDelete

I am still sad about the cancellation yesterday. Even though i knew it was coming. I cannot really concentrate on anything else

    LOL Nielsen.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Farewell Parks and Rec30 April 2015 at 16:20

    Will Grey's bit TBBT?

From 8-8:30 is the window of the first three picks in the draft, we might see TBBT hitting an eight-year low

    ReplyDelete
  26. Padded ratings perhaps? I remember Shark Tank.

    ReplyDelete
  27. don't we all? Really, the first one was a dumb action flick with bad acting. Part 2 will be the same, especially since Amell isn't a strong actor either.

So what can we expect? A completely stupid plot, some cool visuals, Megan Fox' butt and William Fichtner. So I'm good with it for what it will be

    ReplyDelete
  28. Really!? I didn't know Bones was a female skewing show.

    ReplyDelete
  29. at least it'll have a satisfying ending from what I've gathered. Better good closure than more seasons and a cliffhanger :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't watch any Wednesday shows (not ones currently airing anyway) but for some reason I keep going into the ratings thread for Wednesday...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Arrow better hold on to that 1.0 today, last night was insane!

    ReplyDelete
  32. They did say it will have a tiny cliffhanger,so......

    ReplyDelete
  33. Last year, first round drew 12.4 MM average and 5.7 rating combined (it aired on ESPN & NFL Network live). Those are significant numbers with higher numbers during first half. So, yeah, it's a legit threat to Thursday's ratings.

    ReplyDelete
  34. American Idol got a 16.8

    SVU got a 7.4

    Modern Family got a 6.2

    ReplyDelete
  35. Lol, that's probably why they were delayed. Though wasn't Modern Family actually that high at one point?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Season 3 premiere of Modern Family got a 6.0, so at one point it rated that high.
In fact, at one point, all of those shows rated as high

    ReplyDelete
  37. Maybe Supernatural did a good job on the ratings and he doesn't want to admit it? Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Perry will miss Revenge 😢30 April 2015 at 17:03

Wait, that's the numbers that Neilsen really got at first? Lol Now we know why the ratings got delayed lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. No, they're joking. No numbers have been released.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Perry will miss Revenge 😢30 April 2015 at 17:08

I'm the same, and Resifan pisses me off :(

    ReplyDelete
  44. Arrow 0.7, 2.40m...

    (showbuzzdaily)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Seems like yes, hoping that's a mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Perry will miss Revenge 😢30 April 2015 at 17:19

Yea, he's gloating up a storm over there on a few threads :(

    ReplyDelete
  47. Showbuzzdaily is showing 0.8 for me.

    ReplyDelete
  48. No Arrow!!!! Why? Oh Why do you insist on doing this to me every spring? Urgh!! ABC did quite well though and CBS did badly.

Winners: The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, Survivor, Chicago PD, Law and Order SVU

Honorable Mention: Black-ish, Supernatural, American Idol

Losers: Nashville, Criminal Minds, CSI Cyber

    ReplyDelete
  49. WTF!!!0.8???????/

    ReplyDelete
  50. NBC will do a crossover again soon enough!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I know right? I am so annoyed with this right now!!! Why?!!?!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Simply amazing for Chicago PD and SVU

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow Criminal Minds lost to CPD.

Modern Family below 8 million but steady in demo.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Good for ABC comedies! Great for SPN, considering Arrow :(

    ReplyDelete
  55. Supernatural built on Arrow in 18-34... What in the world happened with Arrow last night? Like seriously?!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I was absolutely right about the crossover numbers! So that means no one is interested in CF anymore?

    ReplyDelete
  57. The first crossover show rarely benefits from crossover events. It's always the follow up ones. So that is an unfair comparison.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Gaia Di Lorenzo30 April 2015 at 17:26

I don't mind because TBBT is double renewed. & Doing good still.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I thinks is becuse last 3-way crossover CF was useless...

    ReplyDelete
  60. I think it's because the main story is more developed in the other two shows; CF just introduces us to the events.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yes for The Middle climbing back up to 2.0, Goldbergs and Modern Family do what they do, Blackish and Nashville (best season yet) doing good as well.

Also CPD and SVU did amazing! I'm starting to think CPD should move to 9 PM and SVU moves to Thursdays after Blacklist in the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Miss Supernatural30 April 2015 at 17:28

Even though I would love Supernatural to keep these numbers, I'm wondering if it'll get adjusted down in the finals.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Damn it, Arrow.
Wow at CBS hitting new lows.
Great for NBC and SVU growing from CPD. Lol at CF repeat being so close to TMoL

    ReplyDelete
  64. Perry will miss Revenge 😢30 April 2015 at 17:28

It's pissing people off this season. :(

    ReplyDelete
  65. Waiting for the inevitable ___ recurring characters are why this show is terrible (and the "They're mean to [Dean, Sam or Cas]" posts) for SPN's ratings, while ignoring that it's not that far off Arrow at this point (even if it adjusts down and Arrow adjusts up).

    ReplyDelete
  66. Terrible, really hoping the numbers are closer to a 0.9 with more decimals...

    ReplyDelete
  67. It's possible but the half hours look quite decent with a 0.8-0.7

    ReplyDelete
  68. A four hour crossover next season featuring Chicago Med is sure thing.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm happy for SPN (if one can be happy with a 0.7), but good grief, Arrow!! Is this a backlash against the creative direction that began in last week's ep? Or just a spring slip?

    ReplyDelete
  70. A lot of people seem unhappy with this season, but it may be more down to DST.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I think just a spring slip. Last year it was the same thing. In fact, lsat night's episode is still up year to year, even if it doesn't adjust up, which it should!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I guess i am not the only one realizing how much the quality of Arrow is declining this season

I know i am going to get hate for this comment, but that's my opinion. The show is nowhere near as perfect as S2 was

    ReplyDelete
  73. I still love Arrow just as much.

    ReplyDelete
  74. This season has been a mess.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Half Hours
    Nashville 1.3/1.2
    CSI Cyber 1.3/1.2
    Arrow 0.8/0.9
    Supernatural 0.8/0.7
    Criminal Minds 1.7/1.7
    Chicago PD 1.8/1.8
    SVU 2.0/2.0

    ReplyDelete
  76. Goodbye Revenge 😢 2011-201530 April 2015 at 17:30

    I have hated this season

    ReplyDelete
  77. It's up year to year.. even yesterday.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Miss Supernatural30 April 2015 at 17:30

Thank you, I hadn't see the half numbers yet. I hope you're right! :D

    ReplyDelete
  79. Yet, it's still higher rated than last year, even at lows.

    ReplyDelete
  80. So why include that show in the first place?

    ReplyDelete
  81. So that CF fans check out CPD and SVU

    ReplyDelete
  82. This season has been pretty messy but i did like these last 2 episodes very much!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Goodbye Revenge 😢 2011-201530 April 2015 at 17:32

    Wow SVU

    ReplyDelete
  84. Wow at SVU it needs to go Wednesday 10pm next season.

    ReplyDelete
  85. True – easy to get hung up on a down week and forget how amazing Arrow's ratings trend has been year-to-year. The only reason a 0.8 looks so bad is because it's not been the norm this year like it was last year!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yeah what Andy said.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Sucks to be THAT show i guess!
Everyone keeps benefiting from it except the show itself!

    ReplyDelete
  88. So far its mixed. But I think they need to clear out these characters for next year.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yikes at CBS, I cant see Cyber getting renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  90. And also, it's obvious the last parts gets more viwers...

    ReplyDelete
  91. Exactly. Still sucks to see it though!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Because the entire case started because of a FIRE that the Chicago Firefighters were called in. That's why.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Goodbye Revenge 😢 2011-201530 April 2015 at 17:34

You guys, a 0.8 for a show on the CW in its third season is beyond really good! nth to complain or worry about

    ReplyDelete
  94. It's not going to adjust down with 0.8/0.7 although Aroown can adjust up.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Flash hits 1.5 yesterday and Arrow drops to .8?!
    Ugghhhhhh.....

    ReplyDelete
  96. What the hell is that 1.7 for Criminal Minds one week before the season finale???

    ReplyDelete
  97. Glad for that 2.0 from The Middle.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Those are more in line with the ratings that NBC should have been expecting for the crossover. Overall, I'd view the whole lineup (including the Chicago Fire repeat at 8 PM) a success. I wouldn't be surprised if NBC did this in the fall. SVU benefitted from 10 PM and Chicago PD boosted the 9 PM hour. Chicago Fire 's repeat wasn't too far off what The Mysteries of Laura earns in originals.

    ReplyDelete
  99. These numbers are more for the crossover conclusion...
CPD also builds on SVU last crossover.

    ReplyDelete
  100. SVU and CPD in Top 3 for the night in A18-34. Crossover week actually worked.

I need a 3 next to Modern Family. Like right now (j/k, I can wait until finals)

    ReplyDelete
  101. How about 0.7 for 10yo? And people still say it dying and collapsing.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Great for both. Chicago Med is even more locked than before.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Rheinmeister09 .30 April 2015 at 17:38

Presumably Chicago Med will be green lit for the fall calendar so a four part crossover will presumably be on the cards at some point???

    ReplyDelete
  104. The show is up from last year ratings wise. So your assessment is wrong. S2 was not perfect btw and this season while not as good as last year has been fine with some stuff being sloppy which is the majority opinion by fans. But Arrow has gotten to the "It's not The Flash so I must hate it" treatment by people. But let's just see how Flash in its 3rd season

    ReplyDelete
  105. Happy May Weather Day for everyone reading this on May 1st! :D

    Summer is almost here!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Neither do I.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Rheinmeister09 .30 April 2015 at 17:39

Damn a full 0.2 drop in the demo for Arrow. Hopefully it will go up 0.1 in the finals

    ReplyDelete
  108. No hate here. Gul should have been saved for a later season IMO. I find this season just so awkward the way it has played out. It's still good, just not as good.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Victor Hugo G. Soares30 April 2015 at 17:39

    Me too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  110. The Wrap mentioned that if both Chicago Med and the limited Law and Order revival series are a go, NBC's next big event will likely be a five way crossover.

    ReplyDelete
  111. And I wish I didn't know the numbers now

    ReplyDelete
  112. That awkward moment when Chicago Fire repeat has better ratings than most of NBC shows original airings :D

    ReplyDelete
  113. Wow that will be awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  114. But that's exactly what happened in the last crossover.Fire got much better ratings then!

    ReplyDelete
  115. I wonder if they could find a way to work in The Blacksit.....
    Then NBC=Nothing But Crossovers

    ReplyDelete
  116. I never thought I'd be AI losing from regular shows. That day came yesterday!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Rheinmeister09 .30 April 2015 at 17:43

Oh wow hadn't heard about reviving Law and Order but that can't be anything but a good thing for the network.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yay! Middle tied for 1st in half hour :)

    ReplyDelete
  119. If they thought it would draw, I'm sure NBC would. At this point, they need ratings anyway they can get them.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Hopefully I am not disappointed when I finally catch up but I am not sure I like what I have been hearing about these last few episodes

    ReplyDelete
  121. It tends to do very decently in repeats, which is great for whatever syndication package it earns. Viewers watch it in repeats.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I agree. If it ain't broke...don't fix it. Kudos that the Crossovers are working for them.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Well if they do any of these cross overs I hope they get Richard Belzer as a Munch to guest star in all the shows, just because it would tickle me to have Munch just continue his streak of being on more shows than any other character.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Not sure how people can complain about that ep. It was like a 6 year payoff to the Novak storyline. Thought that is the kind of stuff people wanted.

    ReplyDelete
  125. well....crap then -,-

    ReplyDelete
  126. And I thought S2 was horrible :/ I only thought S1 was just ok too. I dropped it during S2.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Arrow is depressing me. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Season two was definitely better. That being said, for me, the season was more uneven than bad, with stretches of good episodes and good arcs - especially the crossover episodes to 3x13, then 3x18 to our current episode - and some not so great ones - 3x06 and 3x07, for example - with some bad character decisions thrown in, like Oliver trusting Malcolm or sticking Ray in Palmer Industries limbo for so long. For me, season two is better than season three, but season three is better than season one, and while I was frustrated a lot by some of the dumb decisions that have been made at times this season, I still enjoyed the show most of the time. But that's just me.

Also, the ratings are still up year to year. And from the half hours, it seems likely it's going to adjust up again. So it's still doing better than season two ... which is weird to me, too, but whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  129. POOR CM! like I said I'm not a big fan of s10, but I'm still a fan of the show and I really hate these ratings :(
hopefully there's at least one final season, it deserves a proper farewell.

    ReplyDelete
  130. In my opinion, the payoff would have been better had Amelia lived and taken Claire home with her. Now we'll just get more of RobDam's 'Sue's' in S11 - ClaireSue.

    ReplyDelete
  131. + a low for Cyber on Wednesday ! (it hit 1.2 on Tuesday) but that's the worst ratings + demo on its regular timeslot too.

    ReplyDelete
  132. No hate from me, in fact I can't agree more with what you said!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Anyone has double digits for CW? Pls?

    ReplyDelete
  134. Arrow 0.837
    SPN 0.717

Courtesy of RJK on Spotted Ratings

    ReplyDelete
  135. Thx! So SPN keeps 0.7 and Arrow adjusts up. Everybody is happy

    ReplyDelete
  136. That's what I'm expecting! Not a bad night.

    ReplyDelete
  137. It's why I've only watched sporadically. Mostly for Ra's, Nyssa, or if I read it has a lot of Diggle in it. It has no direction. It's just all over the place. Not to mention some weak acting and soapy moments.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Good for NBC last night, crossovers help them. Also good for The Middle, it is pretty consistent for ABC. Bad numbers for CBS. Cyber is definitely not going to make it. Poor Idol, it will still get another year because these numbers are better than anything they have going right now

    ReplyDelete
  139. they mean quality wise not ratings wise

    ReplyDelete
  140. Arrow must have some competitio/viewer watch Chicago Fire rerun/survivor or idol?

    ReplyDelete
  141. If we stand by the numbers, this season is doing better than S2.

Quality speaking? That's more personal. For me, the two seasons are just different. Season 2 was more fast and action-based while Season 3 is a more personal and emotional and dark and character driven.
