    CW: +50, Fox: no change, ABC: – 7, CBS: – 8, NBC: -19

    ———-

Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. These overnights are your first look at the ratings and a precursor to what could lie ahead. And we take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence.

    -Winners:
“NCIS” (CBS), “The Voice” (NBC), “The Flash” (CW), “NCIS: New Orleans” (CBS)

    -Losers (excluding repeats):
“Repeat After Me” (ABC), “One Big Happy” (NBC), “Weird Loners” (Fox), “iZombie” (CW)

    ———-

    Ratings Breakdown:
Dominant CBS held a considerable advantage in the Tuesday household overnights, besting No. 2 NBC by 89 percent with its line-up of “NCIS” (10.1 rating/16 share), “NCIS: New Orleans” (9.0/ 14) and “Person of Interest” (5.9/10). The Eye net finished first in the six half-hours. But ”Person of Interest” faced repeats of “Chicago Fire” on NBC (#2: 2.9/ 5) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.7/ 3) on ABC, and it still dropped by 34 percent from lead-in “NCIS: New Orleans.” CBS should be thinking about a new drama for the time period next season.

In week three news, Fox dud sitcom “Weird Loners” dropped to a miniscule 1.1/ 2 in the overnights at 9:30 p.m., which was 15 percent below the 1.3/ 2 last week. And that 1.3 overnight rating translated into just 1.71 million viewers and a 0.7 rating/2 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data. Chances are you won’t be seeing a fourth episode of “Weird Loners.” Note to the networks: enough with these chucklers with lame people looking for love TV style.

Earlier in the evening on Fox was tired “Hell’s Kitchen” (#4: 2.7/ 4 from 8-9 p.m.), which could use a break at this point, and a repeat of “New Girl” (#5: 1.0/ 2 at 9 p.m.).

On NBC, “The Voice” was the standout, of course, with a healthy 7.2/12 (#2) from 8-9 p.m. And that should have no trouble winning the hour in all the key demos. Following their preemptions last week (for a two-hour edition of “The Voice”), NBC 9-10 p.m. comedies “Undateable” (#2: 3.4/ 5) and “One Big Happy” (#3: 2.6/ 4) were on par with what are now typical overnight levels. And this should translate in the vicinity of a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49 for “Undateable” and a 1.2 in the demo for “One Big Happy.” In other words, it could be better, but it could be worse and there is every reason to expect a third season of “Undateable” next season. “One Big Happy” will probably not be as lucky.

Elsewhere, recent ABC Tuesday 8 p.m. sitcom entry “Fresh Off the Boat” dropped six percent in the household overnights week-to-week (3.3/ 6 vs. 3.5/ 6), which should notch a 1.3 to 1.4 rating in the demo. But comical reality half-hour “Repeat After Me” sunk to a fifth-place 2.0/ 3 at 8:30 p.m. And that led into a third-place 3.0/ 5 for “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” from 9-10 p.m., which increased by 50 percent in the household overnights and is a shoo-in for a third season renewal given the network is looking into a spin-off series.

On The CW, bona fide hit “The Flash” (#5: 2.5/ 4), which was 108 percent above year-ago occupant “The Originals” (1.2/ 2 on 4/15/14), led into a 1.2/ 2 for on-the-fence recent entry ‘iZombie,” which dropped by 52 percent to a 1.2/ 2 in the 9 p.m. hour (#4).
