CBS 7.2/12
ABC 3.2/ 5
NBC 3.0/ 5
Fox 1.7/ 3
-Percent Change from the Year-Ago Oscar Evening – Sunday 4/13/14:
NBC: +11, CBS: + 4, ABC: -16, Fox: -19
———-
Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. The overnights are your first look at what to potentially expect when the other results come in. And we always take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence. Keep in mind, as always, that results for any live sporting event are always approximate.
-Solid in Total Viewers:
“60 Minutes” (CBS), “Madam Secretary” (CBS)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
“Dateline” (NBC), “American Odyssey” (NBC), “Revenge” (ABC), “Battle Creek” (CBS)
———-
Ratings Breakdown:
Note: All individual program results on CBS are approximate due to the estimated final 15-minutes of the Masters Golf Tournament bleeding into primetime on the East Coast.
CBS stood well above the competition in the Sunday overnights, besting distant No. 2 ABC by 125 percent. The aforementioned Masters Golf Tournament (10.6 rating/20 share from 7-7:15 p.m.) led into a 9.0 rating/16 share in households for “60 Minutes” from 7:15-8:15 p.m., followed by “Madam Secretary” (7.8/12 from 8:15-9:15 p.m.), “The Good Wife” (6.1/10 from 9:15-10:15 p.m.) and waiting-to-be axed recent entry “Battle Creek” (4.1/ 8 from 10:15-11:15 p.m.). While CBS — excluding “Battle Creek” — has a solid total audience base on Sunday, the challenge is bringing in younger viewers to the night.
In week two news, “A.D.: The Bible Continues” on NBC dipped by 25 from its debut with a second-place 4.6/ 7 in the overnights from 9-10 p.m. (versus a 6.1/10 one week earlier, which translated into 9.68 million viewers and a 2.3 rating/7 share among adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data). This should be more than enough to dominate the time period in the key young adult demographics. And week two of “American Odyssey” slipped by 24 percent with a last-place 2.5/ 4 at 10 p.m. (versus a 3.3/ 6, which translated into 5.37 million viewers and a 1.1/ 4 in adults 18-49).
Earlier in the evening on NBC was “Dateline” (#4: 2.4/ 4) and a repeat of the pilot episode of “A.D.: The Bible Continues” (#3: 2.7/ 4) from 7-9 p.m.
Elsewhere, ABC had a modest overnight showing with its line-up of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (#3: 3.3/ 6), “Once Upon a Time” (#3: 3.2/ 5), “Secrets & Lies” (#3: 3.3/ 5) and tired “Revenge” (#2: 3.0/ 5) from 7-11 p.m. “Revenge” is unlikely to even beat competing “American Odyssey” on NBC in adults 18-49. And Fox populated this second Sunday in April with a repeats of “The Simpsons” (two episodes – 7 p.m.: 1.0/ 2 and 8 p.m.: 1.5/ 2) and “Bob’s Burgers” (1.0/ 2 at 7:30 p.m.), and original installments of “Family Guy” (2.1/ 3) and two episodes of just renewed “The Last Man on Earth” (avg. 2.2/ 3 from 9-10 p.m.). Fox ranked fourth in the overnights in each of its six half-hours.

Okay, so what does it mean for OUAT? Approximatively ofc :)
ReplyDeleteSecrets And Lies beat OUAT ?!
ReplyDeleteHH is low for OUAT. As for revenge, that promo has indicated that Abc has cancelled Revenge, so it's ratings no longer matter for me.
ReplyDeletePredict the A18-49 Demo based on the Household Ratings
ReplyDeleteRevenge will have a 1.0 or 1.1
ReplyDeleteI just do not know anymore.... i will just tell myself that it is already cancelled. On the one hand, Gabriel Mann is asking Fans to watch live so we can have a season 5 and on the other hand ABC is promoting revenge with the finale four episodes. These could have from the series or season. I will watch last night's episode tonight
Seems like another dip for Once. They really should've promoted this episode better. It was extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteAssume MTV snagged the keyISH demo here.
If OUAT hits 1.6 I'll freak out. HH was higher was higher two weeks ago and it got 1.7 :/
ReplyDeleteI do not get it with revenge. Why is gabriel mann asking people to watch live for a season 5 then?! Ugh this gets to me!
ReplyDeleteIt usually does at least the last couple of weeks, but Once does better in the demo.
ReplyDeleteplease revenge, at least 1.2, i want a 5th season
ReplyDeleteNot happening Unfortunately :/
ReplyDeleteMe too! I'm just so confused. But I take that it has already been cancelled.
ReplyDelete1.2 or the 5th season?
ReplyDeleteHow do you know?
ReplyDeleteNo one confirmed anything.
It's obvious from the promo
ReplyDeleteDid you See the promo for next week's episode :(
ReplyDeleteTwo weeks ago, S&L beat OUAT as well. Only by one-tenth of a rating point though.
ReplyDeleteBoth Unfortunately as much as i Would love for that to happen, believe me! I love revenge
ReplyDeleteBut the didn't say "of the series" or anything.
ReplyDelete" The war between Emily and Victoria will end" it's the finale season.
ReplyDeleteTrue. I mean they do this for GOT and many other shows as well but i think revenge is over😢
ReplyDeleteyeah I think this is the last season, "The war between Emily and Victoria will end" Revenge without Emily x Victoria isn't
ReplyDeleteRevenge... i'm so sad :(
We shall see. I am just telling myself it Has already been cancelled. I will miss it VERY MUCH!!!
ReplyDeleteBut it said the war between victoria and emily will end make sure you be there for the final 4 episodes. And they left "out of the season"
ReplyDeleteSo am i. I still have to watch last night's episode so therefore I have not even seen the promo yet 😃
ReplyDeleteIf they only have 20 seconds then they can only say certain things. We shall see
ReplyDeleteyeah and I can't see revenge without the grayson manor xD
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how close are OUAT and Revenge in the ratings.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes Marc think Revenge will lose to American Oddissey?
ReplyDeleteMarc is just biased
ReplyDeleteThe promo for next week S&L said "2 episodes before the season finale".
ReplyDeleteThey have said that for Betrayal and other new shows and they were still cancelled.
ReplyDeleteThis looks to be another lackluster night. On Friday, a 1.5 was the highest demo of the night. It will probably be a bit higher today, but nothing will get above a 2.0. Anyway, I am hoping Secrets and Lies will remain above a 1.3. It had the highest HH rating out of all three ABC shows, but since they all skew different it won't get the highest demo.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I wanted to be ready for the finale and now we have just 4 episodes to see before the series finale.
ReplyDeleteSo what rating with GOT's premiere get?
ReplyDeleteS4 premiere was 3.6 with the finale a 3.8
I wonder if it will reach a 4 or not.
I'm just saying they could have said "before the season finale" for revenge but they didn't.
ReplyDeletewhat about that? https://twitter.com/karinevanasse/status/587451199181340672
ReplyDeleteShe just said that there are four more episodes to go.
ReplyDeleteShe didn't answer the question directly.
She probably confused 'final season' and 'season finale'. Episode order for season 4 is 23 episodes and yesterday ABC aired 4x19. So yeah, 4 episodes to go.
ReplyDeleteShe didn't answer the question
ReplyDeleteI hope the leaking haven't interfered with GOT reaching its series high on this premiere.
ReplyDeleteTop 25 Numbers are currently coming in and being entered.
ReplyDeleteRefresh for updates
As if Marc's claims are evidence-based at all.
ReplyDeleteIf the 24% drop in HH for AO translates to the demo as well, it would mean a 0.8. I am not sure that will be the case though, but AO will be struggling to even hit a 1.0 in the demo. Since Revenge has been at 1.0 or above since its return in March, I think Revenge will have the upper hand. In fact, I believe it might win the 10 pm hour completely as Battle Creek won't hit a 1.0 or above either.
So, almost every ABC show is rising this week, except for OUAT. Is this season so bad?
ReplyDeleteSeems like the show always takes a big hit in the spring. Could be because it's a 8pm family drama on a weekend
ReplyDeleteBoring...
ReplyDeleteLooks like NBC crashed
ReplyDeleteBig drop for AD. It got a 2.2 on the T25 for the premiere.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the additional 23rd episode is because of that indication the show is ending this season
ReplyDeleteI think that she thought that person meant season finale
ReplyDeleteWhat did it got?
ReplyDeleteOUAT's pacing, as usual, has been really crappy--maybe some fans have had enough. (OUAT arcs usually have a decent premiere episode, then tread water until the last couple of episodes, which is when everything happens.) Also, a lot of fans (I'm one of them) thought that the Frozen story in the first part of the season took too much time from the show's regular characters, and some haven't come back for this arc.
ReplyDeleteSo basically NBC has 0 shows to brag about
ReplyDeleteRevenge 1.0, season finale, no doubt
ReplyDelete1.4, as it says in the table.
ReplyDeleteWho do you think will win at the 9pm slot in terms of 18-49? Their top25 numbers are close.
ReplyDeleteNBC crashed like hell.
ReplyDeleteawesome season to me. Ratings don't agree. Too bad. At least it still got in top 5. New low but it should still get renewal. Someone said they are shooting in June. Is that true?
ReplyDeleteThats low for OUAT and it looks like Revenge is back to hitting sub ones.
ReplyDeleteDamn it, ONCE!
ReplyDeleteIt seems either Family Guy, AD or OUAT will win the night with something like a 1.6-1.7
ReplyDeleteseries finale*
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see it.
ReplyDeleteTerrible night
ReplyDeleteOuch OUAT!
ReplyDeleteThe Spring ratings masacre continue
Refresh.
ReplyDeleteThe top 5 aren't sorted until the 18-49 are entered in the table.
ReplyDeleteABC hasn't said one way or the other if Revenge has been cancelled... and it is quite possible that we're all reading too much into "watch the final four" especially since they aren't saying "of the series" or "of the season" at the end. At this point all we can do is watch, support our show, and see where things go in the next couple of weeks. I think we will know something sooner rather than later. Something will give and something will get said whether it be by ABC or someone connected with the show. I'd take Gabriel's word to mean that the "official" decision is still pending.
ReplyDeleteI would say ouch OUAT but given TGIT decline it doesn't look terrible
ReplyDeleteYou will know for sure in a little under 4 weeks.
ReplyDeleteThese numbers for American Odyssey are just plain awful but I hope it won't be pulled from the schedule.
ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn't, people that download the leaks are most likely the people that always download the show and don't have HBO to begin with so hopefully it will be OK.
ReplyDeleteoh thx. Even more worried.
ReplyDeleteFrom the top 25 it seems like OUAT will do score a 1.5 or a 1.4, that's quite the fall.
ReplyDeleteABC already took a huge hit with Scandal, so now OUAT following seems awful for the network
Revenge will probably have a 1.0
ReplyDelete" The war between Emily and Victoria will end"
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's probably the final season, since the show won't have anything left when the war between them is done. Unless a big twist is to happen at the end of this season, then would be ok. But I'm gonna stick with it being the series finale.
Edit: I did not See the top 25
ReplyDeleteIt will still probably win the night or be in 2nd in scripted programming.
ReplyDeleteTough numbers all over the board. Sad for OUAT, AO, Revenge etc etc
ReplyDeleteNBC has sure had some dogs this season - the comedies, SOA, TS, Allegiance, AO, Constantine. Just wow. TMOL is looking better and better. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI think ABC hasn't even decided, and they will decide after they see how the last episodes do. And this is probably the worst thing they can do. They should just tell us already. Also, it would be horrible to end the series on an open note.
ReplyDeleteThat is painful for abc😳
ReplyDeleteLooks like Revenge will win its timeslot with a 0.9... that's just sad
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible night. If terrible is even the case. It is beyond terrible
ReplyDeleteIt really is
ReplyDeleteI really agree with the pacing it's possible it made people switch off from it but I'm more shared about the Frozen thing. It seems like the opinion on that was 50/50 but in the end of the arc people got fed up like they were fed up of Neverland. Here despite a big amount of guests there's more focus on our characters (unfortunately not all) but the ratings don't follow. At the end it just confuses me even more, I don't know what to think about it.
ReplyDeleteIt should be marked that revenge was a hyprid clip show
ReplyDeleteRevenge almost never maintains its entire top 25 number. its like a tenth or 2 behind it.
ReplyDeleteIt got a 1.0 in the top 25
ReplyDeleteI hope it reaches 4s, but considering the leak it may be stuck on 3s for a while. I honestly want the show to keep growing, but we'll see
ReplyDeleteI dont know who had the awesome idea to give a centric episode to a character that is clearly not a fan favorite, and yes this season has been horrible for me, too much retcon and plotholes that make no sense, they practically are dismissing all the rules they establish in season 1
ReplyDeleteHas abc ever stayed the same from the top 25? Can that happen? Probably not
ReplyDeleteOUAT is a certain renewal if that is your concern.
ReplyDeleteCan it happen? Yes
ReplyDeleteWill it? Highly unlikely. Only Secrets and Lies has stayed the same on top 25
so that means S5 is still a lock.
ReplyDeleteI see. So probably 0.9 but look at all the other abc shows and for revenge, ratings no longer matter
ReplyDeleteBetween the drops for OUAT and TIGT lineup it seems like someone has put a curse on the network.
ReplyDeleteSo terrible for abc :( even though these ratinfs are not even important anymore. Abc has already made their decision
ReplyDeleteHow pathetic is it that NBC does this terribly and still manages to win the season.
ReplyDeletePeople exaggerate on the importance of the leaks, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteUrgh at those ABC numbers, horrible. And those 3 shows deserve much, much better. NBC crashed big time, I didn't expect A.D. to fall nearly this much. CBS looks pathetic as usual. And thank god LMOE has been renewed already so I don't have to worry as much.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime killed TGIT.
ReplyDeleteBad Numbers for OUAT but still good in the comparison. And of course there will be a fifth season.
ReplyDeleteYeah, only a few shows have been spared; AoS is doing what it did in the fall for the most part, and the wednesday comedy aren't shaky, but FotB dropped considerably from its first episodes, Nashville crashed last week, Castle hasn't got up, and recently Shark Tank dropped a bit.
ReplyDeleteThings are bleak on ABC
The power of football and The Voice.
ReplyDeleteI can't even.
ReplyDeleteOne good thing: ratings do not matter for revenge anymore. The decision has already been made, I am pretty sure
ReplyDeleteI agree
ReplyDeletewhat's happend to ouat? omg i think season 5 will the last one
ReplyDeleteNashville will probably take Revenge's time slot next season and its rating will be ugly !
ReplyDeleteAt least now we know its fate and don't have to worry about its ratings anymore
ReplyDeleteJap
ReplyDeleteAt those ratings levels, LMOE was still a sure thing.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree on everything else; I was surprised to see A.D falling that much, and devastated to see OUAT hitting new lows :S
That surprised me. Ratings aren't great, but the fact that it's doing very well mirroring its lead in should give it a reprieve.
ReplyDeleteABC should pull it and put GA repeats at 10.
ReplyDeleteExactly. As much as i will miss it 😔
ReplyDeleteNashville is totally lead in dependent, so I think that its ratings will be worse then Revenge on that timeslot.
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily, OUAT is likely to hit a huge syndication deal despite its recent ratings, so it'll probably manage to squeeze a sixth season. Not to mention, at those ratings level it is still very renewable for ABC - which says just how badly the network is hanging up with ratings this spring
ReplyDeleteI think it will.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't have to mean ! The show does amazing in the DVR ratings and with some solid story and good casting can comeback to high 2 throughout fall.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a real shame if it doesn't break into the 4s but yeah the effect of the leak is an unknown factor.
ReplyDeleteI am away from my spreadhseet right now but I am under the impression that LMOE falls from top25, hence my comment. But I could off here, I am a fraud without my spreadhseet lol. Once Upon a Time is having one of its best arcs ever in my opinion, so I really hate these numbers.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you say OUAT will have a huge syndication deal?
ReplyDeleteNashville has almost the same ratings as Revenge on Wednesdays. Of course its ratings will be worse !
ReplyDeleteI don't think a show like OUAT is a show that will score a huge syndication deal. It is so serialized!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how low will it go? If it can't benefit from a high one, low 2, lead in, what's comming next season on Sundays? 0.7s?
ReplyDeleteMe too! I was also relieved when I found an article that was made back in February, but the show runner said that fans deserve a proper ending, and that he wrote 2 finales for Revenge one in case it was renewed and the other in case it gets cancelled. so at least I know that it will get a proper ending.
ReplyDeleteOnce Upon A Time is a major marketing machine for Disney. Like with S.H.I.E.L.D., it's ratings doesn't matter as much as they are used as a promotional platform.
ReplyDeleteSame. I really doubt OUAT will get a huge syndication deal when even Grey's couldn't get one.
ReplyDeleteHow is OUAT even used as a promotional platform?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't compare it with Grey's too much since I believe the syndication market has changed quite a bit since Grey's made it there, but in any case I agree with your point.
ReplyDeleteProbably, yes.
ReplyDeleteDisney characters.
ReplyDeleteThey use it to market their Disney movies/characters and sell DVDs, merchandise, etc.
ReplyDeleteI agree; besides, last night episode was pretty outstanding IMO - I even gave it an "A" on my review. So it's really frustrating.
ReplyDeleteAs for LMOE, I'm sure I've seen it stay the same from its top 25
Which are vastly different from their counterparts.
ReplyDeleteStill Disney characters.
ReplyDeleteIt is already the most watched show on Netflix alongside The Blacklist, so I think it will
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched last night's yet, but I am quite eager to (when work eventually allows me to).
ReplyDeleteNo. Is more like Disney uses their movies/characters to promote the show.
ReplyDeleteFrozen arc, anyone?
Probably and the show will end up cancelled after 4 seasons just like Revenge.
ReplyDeletei agree ouat have a great cast but still lost viewers :(
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware of that.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid so.
ReplyDeleteEither way, it's corporate synergy. And that will help balance the sluggish ratings.
ReplyDeleteBecause Lana's Evil Queen is so similar to the Snow White's Evil Queen.
ReplyDeleteSo similar.
I think OUAT benefits more from Disney that Disney from them just look at the season 4 premiere numbers with frozen and look at the numbers now
ReplyDeleteThat vastly different than airing in syndication, tho.
ReplyDeleteReally doesn't matter cause they presence in the media and everything gives them a huge marketing machine. The will most likely use upcoming sequels and new productions to incorporate.
ReplyDeleteAn article came up about it prior to the start of the season, I'll look for the link and bring it here
ReplyDeleteIt's so bad to look at but if you look at the rest (I don't like to compare but) it's even more awful. Season 5 is still assured, the rest not so much as during the start of the Frozen bliss for sure.
ReplyDeleteEvidence of that was Frozen, obviously. But OUAT isn't a promotional platform. If anything, the movies are the promotional platform for OUAT.
ReplyDeleteLike I said, they are still Disney character, no matter how different.
ReplyDeletethanks all i don understand about ratings
ReplyDeleteI agree with this statement.
ReplyDeleteI know, but still a pretty possitive sign towards deal if the show is able to gather new viewers, it seems like channels would be up to try out a show that could gather new eyeballs
ReplyDeleteNo, the majority of them are Brother Grimm characters; they're simply closer in looks with the Disney counterparts because a) Disney owns it; b) they're more popular.
ReplyDeleteI think the best thing you can say for it is that it probably is a huge deal for the teens audience as far as scripted shows are concerned so you can probably score a good deal for a channel aimed at that, since there aren't many shows around like that.
ReplyDeleteOUAT is the fourth highest rated drama on ABC. I don't think they are unhappy about these ratings.
ReplyDeleteAh, here it is!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.avclub.com/article/once-upon-time-and-blacklist-are-most-popular-show-212860
People always exaggerate it.
ReplyDeleteOUAT keeps going down. I don't think it was ever this low before... (and not just rating wise)
ReplyDeleteI'm sad because I don't know if we will see Madeleine Stowe acting in television anytime soon, and I really love her :(
ReplyDeleteCurrently the viewers are overly saturated with the current characters and need some fresh wind.
ReplyDeleteFrom a storyline's point of view, the story is fine.
ReplyDeleteExactly. I am the firts to want OUAT getting higher ratings, but this spring very few shows are above the 2.0.
ReplyDeleteI actually think Family Guy did well considering the long break and earlier timeslot.
ReplyDeleteOUAT will be around for at least a couple more seasons
ReplyDeleteHope you are right
ReplyDeleteThanks! Quite interesting. I wish I could see full stats for them. I am
ReplyDeletecurious to see how the CW shows do since Netlifix is basically the
reason why they are doing renewals they are nowadays. I also imagine the
6.6% for original series has increased a bit since this article was
published considering that House of Cards continues to gain popularity
(At least that is my impression, for whatever it is worth it) and that
they are doing the Marvel series now.
Pretty weird how despite the New Testament being more popular than the Old Testament, NBC still can only keep a fraction of the audience The Bible got.
ReplyDeleteBut it continues the buzz and features the characters from what Disney certainly benefits. Promotional platform no, but they really didn't try it. Would be even a bit stupid to feature them majorly in the show and than on the big screen. A similiar situation like with S Squad and DC.
ReplyDeleteThe earlier timeslot might actually be a blessing in this case considering that it puts it away from Game of Thrones, with whom it surely shares the male audience, not to mention that it gives it a simpsons lead-in, which is higher rated and more compatible than B99.
ReplyDeleteA.D. is going to likely be NBC's last drama renewal, but NBC can't be thrilled with its ratings. They expected higher than that.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I also wish I could know how they are holding up. I imagine shows like Arrow and Daredevil already got some couple of eyeballs, but I'm really intrigued to see how the rest is doing. If Netflix just gave some stats that would be awesome! But all I can see is the trending now section, which doesn't say much
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a limited series??
ReplyDeleteNo, a second season is already being developed, it seems.
ReplyDeleteIt's essentially following the trajectory of limited series. If you consider this an effective second season of The Bible, it is no different than what The Following, Under the Dome, Sleepy Hollow, etc. all did. Very successful in their first seasons, passable-yet-disapointing opening numbers for their sophomore seasons after being off the air for a long time, and then big declines.
ReplyDeleteI think part of the problem is that people invest in these shows as "event" type of things so they are only willing to remain on board for a limited time. The big break doesn't help either.
Agreed. Anything highly serialized or genre does not do well in this market.
ReplyDeleteConsidering last week's top 25, this week we can expect a 1.5. That's enough for NBC to renew it, but a huge disappointment as it is miles away from History's The Bible
ReplyDeleteI would like to know how The 100 does as I imagine it will be quite relevant for its future survival.
ReplyDeleteI'd say the opposite is true. Too many new faces and not enough focus on core characters.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, it doesn't happen to Murder.
ReplyDeleteYes, Burnett has already gone on record saying he's developing a follow up.
ReplyDeleteYep, if it does well there I can imagine The CW glueing it somewhere until it has a decent run of episodes and give it a propper ending. I just hope we are not nearing a HoD situation
ReplyDeleteYeah I hope so too. But I am getting quite scared about it, especially considering the Scandal decline and the fact that Murder seemed to be loosing some steam (Relatively speaking of course, since it was still huge) in its second half. Hopefully it comes back roaring. I adore that show!
ReplyDeleteCould be both honestly. Think they are switching out those new characters to much and not giving the viewers opportunity to bond. And those switcheroos are getting to much focus overall, like the SnowQueen recently.
ReplyDeleteSame here. I actually run a fan page of it :)
ReplyDeleteits not exaggerate but this season is awful
ReplyDeleteExactly. And it probably deflates the chances of Unveiled going to series. If NBC takes a chance on a second season of A.D., they won't likely try Unveiled at the same time.
ReplyDeleteFrozen was, yes. This season, not so much.
ReplyDeleteEspecially since Zelena, the Wicked Witch, showed up.
If you're talking about Robin Hood, I agree. The writers keep trying to make him "happen", but it's obviously not working from a viewership standpoint. I couldn't stand Zelena, so I hate that she's back. Last night's episode was full of ridiculous retcons. (Example: attempting to explain why Robin looked different from when we first saw him in the Rumple/Belle flashback in S2. Should've just left it as a Darrin #1/Darrin #2 scenario, because the "explanation" doesn't hold up to scrutiny.) And agree about dismissing the established rules. "Dead is dead" doesn't even apply any more, unless we're dealing with Neal or Graham.
ReplyDeleteOUAT is so bad now, it doesn't even deserve a 1.6.
ReplyDeleteTo each his own. It is one of my favorite arcs ever on the show.
ReplyDeleteAgreed
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find that info? I've tried to find a list of their most streamed/watched shows but the only lists that I find are "best of" , but best doesn't mean most viewed. They're so private about their numbers.
ReplyDeleteI left a link below in this thread :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is a tossup between OUAT and Grimm for the Award of "Absolutely certain renewal show that people insist on pronouncing dead and saying that next season will be the last". It's been like this since S2 of both shows!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I HATE the Zelena twist and how Marian's death just ended up being a footnote. Anything to try to redeem Robin Hood and Outlaw Queen, I guess.
ReplyDeleteSame here
ReplyDelete
