Ratings Breakdown:
“The Big Bang Theory” topped the evening, of course, and it led CBS to Thursday overnight victory. But, like “Big Bang” lead-out “The Millers” on the year-ago night, current 8:30 p.m. occupant “The Odd Couple” is losing too much of the audience. “The Big Bang Theory” opened with a 10.0 rating/17 share in households at 8 p.m., which was just six percent below the 10.6/18 one year earlier. And “The Odd Couple” slipped to a 6.3/10 at 8:30 p.m. (#1), which was on par with “The Millers” with almost identical overnight retention of 63 percent. While that 6.3 overnight rating on paper seems positive, don’t forget what happened to “The Millers” in season two when it moved to Monday last fall out of “2 Broke Girls.” That said, does CBS need to give “The Odd Couple” a second season? Personally, I think not.
Speaking of “The Millers,” Margo Martindale will be guest starring on the Eye net’s “Mike & Molly” this Monday in a character that looks exactly like obnoxious Carol Miller. Just what we need!
Particularly promising for CBS last night was a 9 p.m. edition of sophomore “Mom” at a dominant 5.9/10 in the overnights, which was 11 percent above the 5.3/ 9 at 9:30 p.m. last week out of an encore of “The Big Bang Theory.” Chances are “Mom” will move into the Thursday 9 p.m. time period next season. And chances are Allison Janney is a lock for another Emmy Award victory.
Also on CBS was a repeat of “The Big Bang Theory” at a 5.0/ 8 (#2) at 9:30 p.m. into older-skewing “Elementary” at a first-place 4.8/ 8 at 10 p.m.
On ABC, a repeat of “Grey’s Anatomy” at 8 p.m. (#2: 3.7/ 6) led into a 5.6/ 9 (#1) for an original installment of the veteran medical drama from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, that was just seven percent below the 6.0/10 on the year-ago evening (when “Grey’s” aired regularly at 9 p.m.). Next on the alphabet net was recent entry “American Crime” at a series-low 3.4/ 6 at 10 p.m. Six-week overnight track for “American Crime”: 6.6/11 – 4.5/ 8 – 4.3/ 7 – 4.3/ 7 – 3.6/ 6 – 3.4/ 6. In other words, tick, tock…the cancellation clock is ticking.
Over at NBC, an encore telecast of veteran “Law & Order: SVU” (#4: 3.0/ 5 at 8 p.m.) led into a repeat of “The Blacklist” at a 2.9/ 5 (#3) at 9 p.m. “Dateline” moved into the Thursday 10 p.m. hour with a second-place 3.7/ 7, which was the network’s highest metered market rating in the hour since the 3.8/ 7 for the series-finale of Parenthood” on Jan. 29.
Elsewhere, Fox’s tired “Bones” (#3: 3.5/ 6 at 8 p.m.) led into a fourth-place 2.5/ 4 for recent entry “Backstrom” at 9 p.m., which was still a 15 percent improvement in the overnight households, on average, for the duo from last week. And The CW populated this second Thursday in April with two repeat telecasts of “The Flash” (avg. 0.8/ 1 from 8-10 p.m.).

Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Grey's repeat actually did pretty well. But the 9pm original episode doesn't look any better than last week's rating.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime is great, but the low ratings do not surprise me. This is a subject that is not going to work on broadcast TV. It's too dark, too depressing, and too agenda driven.
ReplyDeleteMom looks strong :)
ReplyDeleteIt would likely do a little lower than it's wed but miles above anything they had in that slot
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime just keeps getting better and better. Sad people aren't there to see it.
ReplyDeleteGreat for Mom and American Crime... meh.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Bones bounced back. Nice!
ReplyDeleteGood for Mom and Greys I guess. It felt so good watching the Greys pilot yesterday on actual broadcast television instead of something like Netflix.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of Flash Repeats this week. Don't tell me they're airing another Flash repeat this Friday.
ReplyDeleteJane the Virgin is rerunning tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe CW is attempting to score a 0.0.
ReplyDeletePredict The A18-49 Ratings.
ReplyDeleteTBBT: 4.0
ReplyDeleteTOC: 2.0
Mom: 2.2
TBBT (R): 1.7
Elementary: 1.4
Grey's Anatomy (R): 1.2
Grey's Anatomy: 2.2
American Crime: 1.0
L&O: SVU (R): 0.9
The Blacklist (R): 1.0
Dateline: 1.2
Bones: 1.2
Backstrom: 0.9
The Flash (R): 0.5
The Flash (R): 0.4
I think Beauty and the Beast will do better than people are anticipating. A move to 8pm on the CW is actually a considerable upgrade since there is local progamming lead-in which rates higher than most of the stuff the cw airs at 8pm. So I think BATB will hang around the 0.3 mark as usual, perhaps upticking even to 0.4 on occasion while dipping to 0.2 on bad nights.
ReplyDeleteDateline?
ReplyDeleteSee my edit.
ReplyDeleteLast summer it did surprisingly solid in my opinion, I think it even hit a 0.4 for its summer premiere. Maybe it has found its audience on summer.
ReplyDeleteWith a bigger share, did Bones really do better than last week?
ReplyDeleteI think solid is a stretch since it was still only equaling Arrow and Supernatural repeats despite the Whose Line It It Anyway lead-in, but I get your point, it could have been worse.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. Last week's episode was very good, I loved Twitter-Brennan and I really enjoyed Caroline's involvement with the case, so I hope it up-ticked today. I have yet to see last night's.
ReplyDeleteI am waiting until sunday when i finally have sth to watch again even though i am planning to start watching AoS tonight
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteBe aware: you can't judge it for what the first half of the season is. Although never bad in my opinion, it becomes a whole different show at the end of the season. Most people will confirm what I am saying ;)
Yeah i havw realized that, everyone has been saying that ;) since revenge will be gone, I have room for a New show. I will not be able to accept that revenge will not be on my Fall schedule ;(
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that.
ReplyDeleteI know, it is quite tragic!
Only 5 more episodes with emily thorne and victoria grayson 😢
ReplyDeleteBy the way, since FOX is now decided to renew one show per week (Sleepy Hollow-New Girl-The Last Man on Earth) to try to hide the embarrassment that their ratings sans Empire are, we should be getting a renewal next week or the next one (it is basically between Mindy and Bones at this point).
ReplyDeleteIf it was up to me, I tell you to skip to episode ten. The first 9 episodes of AoS are mostly filler; the pilot sets everything up. From ten onwards is when the story starts clicking
ReplyDeleteThey still have to work out the contracts for Bones.
ReplyDeleteThe Odd Couple will never recover after last week's 1.9. It will never go above 2.5 again in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAnother The Millers, another failure for Matthew Perry. He is the new Jerry O'Connell.
I think they will renew it for another season. Fox shoud move it to Fridays. It's doing well last season on Friday. Syndication is enough to cover the cost per episode.
ReplyDeleteI know it's quite unlikely, but if for any reason, ABC ordered a 13-episode final season for Revenge I would start jumping of joy.
ReplyDeleteI would think so. Grey's wasn't new at 8 so that should help.
ReplyDeleteThe crew already said goodbye and the final episode is a series finale. We can tell by the title. I wish though :(
ReplyDeleteYep. Mom is sadder than most dramas these days.
ReplyDeleteLast season did well on Friday. It is the only show that could save Fox Fridays.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the link that the crew already said goodbye?
ReplyDeleteI will just watch everything. I do not like skipping episodes ;)
ReplyDeleteIn the post where the title was revealed
ReplyDeleteTvLine posted sth about revenge. Check it out in the post above
ReplyDeleteNo, you are not the only 1 - and I also feel sad to see it that low, but I suppose people don´t want shows that make them think, wich is why (altough I praise ABC for airing it) I believe it´s a cable show.
ReplyDeleteYou need those episodes to feel the emotional impact of what happens next in my opinion. And there are some good moments in there. I loved the Ward-Fitz partnership episode earlier in the season for instance. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteSame as me!
ReplyDeleteDid you read the TVLine article that DarkUFO just posted
ReplyDeleteYes that is true and while I don't think the show is a shoe-in to return (I have it a mere likely renewal) I think it will eventually get done since Emily Deschanel seems convinced of that as well in her interviews.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I wished Revenge stayed at 9pm. It could have been doing 1.5s by now and could be renewed for a fifth season at least. I'm so sad, it has been my favourite show for three years...
ReplyDeleteTrue. I am not happy with ABC. Look at all other 10pm shows on ABC. Only HTGAWM and Castle are doing better
ReplyDeleteReign would not hit 0.0
ReplyDeleteIt repeats 0.1-0.2
Be very welcomed to this fandom. We are glad to have you onboard :) I really hope you like it. I've just binge watched the first season of Shield and actually the first half of it wasn't as bad as I remembered, only ep 2 was really bad but the others, despite being more procedural, were entertaining and planted the seeds for the second half where it becomes a very different show. I think that the problem with Shield was the too high expectations people had about it. Please once you are finished, let me hear your thoughts, I would love to :) And I'm sorry about Revenge.
ReplyDeleteYeah I had read it on TVLine itself already actually. I dunno. It seems less certain than we all interpreted I think since he mentions that it's just one particular thing that will come to an end. I don't think it matters though, I still think it is over.
ReplyDeleteABC ruined Revenge on the moment they put it against the award shows on it second season. They ruined both OUAT and Revenge's ratings. They should have gave it a shot on Wednesdays at 10pm. It would have pulled mid 1s, or anything better than what Nashville is pulling right now.
ReplyDeleteI really hope we know by next week because the longer we go without knowing anything, the more antsy I'm getting. I just hope they don't make us wait until Upfronts like they've done in the past.
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time they've renewed Bones at the upfronts? I think it's been a while, no? The last two seasons we've had early announcements.
ReplyDeleteAbc didn't even give it a fair chance, it was on one of the worst timeslots and had one of the worst lead ins.
ReplyDeleteI know that its selfish of me to say that, but I'm hoping that whatever show they put on Revenges timeslot will flop badly.
ReplyDeleteYeah i definitely think it is over
ReplyDeleteAbsolute death at NBC being 36% up from last year with repeats.
ReplyDeleteIt's gonna be interesting to see Mom, Grey's and Bones numbers.
Totally agree. Unfortunately, ABC never thought about that
ReplyDeletega 2.1
ReplyDeleteThank God GA is back in the 2s
ReplyDeleteTOC: 2.1
ReplyDeleteAC: 0.8
Bones: 1.0
ReplyDeleteBackstrom: 0.8
TOC: 2.1
ReplyDeleteAC: 0.9
Ouch @ AC, all this promotion has definitely come to waste
ReplyDeleteOuch AC
ReplyDeleteLooks like GA/NCIS/CM will tie for #1 drama of the week
ReplyDeleteUnless GA adjust up.
ReplyDeleteYes :(
ReplyDeleteWait is AC 0.8 or 0.9 now?
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like last week was not a fluke for TBBT. It started the season at 5.5 and now it has fallen all the way to 3.4. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteWinners: Mom, Law and Order SVU (R)
ReplyDeleteHonorable Mention: The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, Dateline
Losers: American Crime, Elementary, Bones, Backstorm
Bones has collapsed, damn you FOX. And last week's Bang wasn't a fluke apparently, ouch! Ok for Grey's but I was hoping for a little higher, maybe it adjusts up. That SVU reruns did exceptionally well, hot damn!
I'm calling a two tenths adjustment on TBBT, so I think it'll do a 3.6 in the finals. Still lower than expected
ReplyDeleteThere is still A.D., not to mention Game of Thrones outside of broadcast
ReplyDeleteI honestly see AD nosediving
ReplyDeleteLets just enjoy these last episodes ever that we have with Revenge to its fullest and forget that it's getting cancelled while were watching them.
ReplyDeleteNosediving feels excessive to me but I agree that it should do high 1s.
ReplyDeleteA.D will fall below 2.0. And we are only talking about broadcast.
ReplyDeleteEven in germany there are GOT posters everywhere!!!!!! Today i was in a tv store and all of a sudden all tv showed an add for the game of thrones premiere on sunday. That is how Big this show is, even in germany
ReplyDeleteWell, #1 drama of the week doesn't mean broadcast, but yeah. I agree about A.D., I was just saying that it should remain in contention at least.
ReplyDeleteThis spring has been brutal! I wonder how it is possible for TBBT to have fell like this. Scandal too, and many shows seem to follow this trend as well. Things didn't seem so bad last spring
ReplyDeleteI would give Mom honorable mention
ReplyDeleteI don't think this one is any worse than last year's. I am flooded in work this week so I don't have the time but when I do I will make an analysis comparing the spring decline this year vs. last year.
ReplyDeleteI think it is doing well enough to warrant a winner mention.
ReplyDeleteCompletely embarrasssing for american crime. All the damn promotion for this?! Great move ABC. Sorry for my anger
ReplyDeleteBad for Bones but at least their viewership went up. Please get it away from Thursday. also hope it might adjust up. it looks like TBBT was the only one who had good night
ReplyDeleteWoah TBBT, to be fair I've found this season largely boring, however last nights episode was one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteKinda weird for the repeat of GA to tie the original GA, and they both got the exact same viewers too.
the repeat was a 1.1
ReplyDeleteI actually think the spring has been worse
ReplyDeleteI hate to disagree, but those episodes didn't do anything but make me hate the characters. They were so bland! Only Coulson remained somewhat interesting. The Ward twist that came later on made me cheer because Ward's character was so intensely boring that the twist made him interesting and made things jump into motion.
ReplyDeleteI honestly started feeling for the characters a bit on the backhalf of the season, but S1A didn't cause me to feel any emotional impact, it made me say "finally! About damn time!"
The table has a mistake.
ReplyDeleteOh it says 2.1 for me but that makes more sense, I did think it was strange.
ReplyDeleteyea, the table is wrong lol
ReplyDeleteCBS has real issues with several dramas. Elementary only getting 1.2 with no competition. I know they have to carry it and TGW, but can they afford to honor the MS renewal? That's three hours of low-rated dramas.
ReplyDeleteThey promoted it nonstop, but hey at least they wanted to try out something different, which unfortunately didn't work out.
ReplyDeleteYou may want to bring your ironing table, because you'll need to do something while watching or you won't be able to stand it.
ReplyDeleteThrough those episodes I tidy my room, organize and even exercise; if there was a good thing about those episodes is that it got me to do those things
Yeah
ReplyDeleteI think Greys would have been lower id everyone knew Scandal was not on. I saw a lot of people on twitter waiting for Scandal - they didn't get the memo lol.
ReplyDelete0.9
ReplyDeleteAnd is this your new account?
ATo be fair, MS was pulling 1.7s when it was renewed. It's spring nosedive came after its renewal. Now they are stuck with it for at least another season
ReplyDeleteAre you Revengeaddict?
ReplyDeleteAre you Roses are red.....?
ReplyDeleteIn other news, does anyone have predictions for SNL this weekend?? lol
ReplyDeleteyep and aciel zoubi
ReplyDeleteUm that is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteThanks,i got really confused. So,it's really the end?So sad!
ReplyDeleteYeah ABC has quietly cancelled the show.
ReplyDeleteEVen Tony Goldwyn thought Scandal was on last night. He was ready to live tweet. He tweeted out "15 min to Scandal"
ReplyDeleteYa check out the tweet someone else posted on Revenge final title page
ReplyDeleteHow can people not know that Scandal won't air this Thursday.
ReplyDeleteOkay,checking it now.
ReplyDeleteJust dumb.
ReplyDeleteLol, what an idiot.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like BBT might be staying in the 3s
ReplyDeleteThats their problem. Stating Grey's only went up because people were waiting for Scandal is a stupid statement no offense.
ReplyDeleteBecause some folks are not avid tv watchers. Hey... I'm not Scandal champion by any means... I actually hope it goes down again next week so some real change in story line can happen lol
ReplyDeleteIt's time to move Law and Order: SVU to Thursday. It repeated better on this night than most of its Wednesday repeats.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's quite a fall it has taken this season.
ReplyDeletepeople don't have guides on their tv that stated what was on? Is this 1960?
ReplyDeleteSo I'm an idiot because I said some people didn't realize that Scandal wasn't coming on??!! Okay... lol
ReplyDeleteA lot of shows have taken hits but yea a big fall
ReplyDeleteYa.it's the end.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you use a guide if you're just used to something coming on at a certain time??
ReplyDeleteI am not calling you an idiot, I am calling that actor an idiot.
ReplyDeleteoh ok...
ReplyDeleteTotally true. They should have left it on Wednesdays or on Sundays at 9pm.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know how to reply to that.
ReplyDeleteBecause you claimed people were waiting for it to come on.
ReplyDeleteLooks Like last episode's number of TBBT was not just a one time affair!
ReplyDeleteI'm saying that from twitter last night, a lot of people didn't realized until they saw Greys on their screen.
ReplyDeleteNetworks are probably praying Spring ends quick
ReplyDeleteI'm still mad at the way that Abc has treated it, I know that the quality also played a big role, but the ratings still would've been better now if they just left it at 9.
ReplyDeleteSome shows have withstood it better - AoS, for instance -, but shows like TBBT and Scandal just stumbled compared to last fall where they were steady or even higher.
ReplyDeleteOUAT to a degree hasn't been holding on as well as last spring, the NCIS duo on Tuesdays also haven't had a really good hold up, The Voice is doing good, but it's already on the 2s, TGW went fractional, Madam Secretary collapsed compared to its fall ratings, Grimm hasn't been able to bounce back, SPN is getting multiseasons lows, FOX animated lineup is lower too, New Girl is hitting Mindy numbers and so on. Not to mention there have been fewer spring standout shows.
I honestly see this spring as something particularly brutal.
So if they didn't want to watch Grey's they would have changed the channel. You claimed Grey's benefitted from this which is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteThat's just ridiculous. When the turned ABC on at 9 and saw that Scandal wasn't on, they would have just turned the TV off. They wouldn't stay around and watch a show they have never watched before.
ReplyDeleteThese ratings are making Castle on Monday nights look even better. American Crime is so dark and people are starting to want more uplifting shows. Very depressing.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not going to post on Tvbtn on Revenges final days, cause I want to enjoy the shows last days in peace and not be criticized for it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a similar drop to the one Scandal just took. I just wonder why. They came in so suddenly
ReplyDeleteSpring and Dts have been a bitch lol
ReplyDeleteTake my advice,do exactly what you like.Don't care about random internet People & their opinions & hate.
ReplyDeleteDST is not why Scandal dropped so hard.
ReplyDeleteTBBT has never been effected like this by DST. 1.2 drop from last new episode?
ReplyDeleteYep, but TBBT and Scandal withstood that last spring. I wonder why this spring has been different
ReplyDeleteEveryone saying both shows are quite bad this season unlike last.
ReplyDeleteI recall it pulling high 3s last year around this time so hardly a big drop.
ReplyDeleteLast night's Bones was good as well. These numbers were what I was worried about with their long layoff, plus promoting a break up with your leads going into end of season is not helping. Bones usually gets picked up long before then and I now don't believe contracts are the issue since Emily Deschanel seemed very certain its coming back. I believe FOX needs something else to talk about at upfronts. Looks like every show in spring time is suffering. It really was a good episode, too bad that the demo was bad, but HH numbers went up from last week
ReplyDeleteYa but still, I think its better for me to just enjoy the show in peace.
ReplyDeleteI can understand the story line but b613 didn't hurt it- I think the case of the week hurt it
ReplyDeleteMan, I thought Bones might get a bump with the Grey's rerun. But it's a 10-year-old show with nothing new to promote. And I still wish they'd left the door open with Sweets. If they went witness protection or long term injury, they could have promoted his return. Maybe gotten a bump of interest from that. Oh well. Hate to see it follow the Glee trajectory. Hope its final season ratings aren't microscopic.
ReplyDeleteLooking at these rating I don't know if FOX should consider renewing Bones, unless they want it to make it work on Fridays; I think they should have never moved it from there since it was doing amazingly there, but now the ratings have collapsed and I don't know if the move could bring viewers back
ReplyDeleteMakes sense.I'll do the same when TVD ends.
ReplyDeleteYou recall wrong. http://stvplus.com/show/159/The-Big-Bang-Theory#episodes
ReplyDeleteCheck ratings for all seasons there
That was a fluke, it bounced back immediately
ReplyDeleteThere's only so much quality can affect a show
ReplyDeleteAt least I will still have OUAT for at least couple more years
ReplyDeleteLast season it did hit a 3.8, but it was followed by a 4.9 on the very next episode
ReplyDeleteQuality drop+year to year audience erosion+DST=New lows.
ReplyDeleteStill doesn't explain the 1.2 drop for TBBT. Did millions of people just decided to stop watching it together?
ReplyDeleteHere are the 1/2 hr ratings

Do you think overexposure may have hurt TBBT?
ReplyDeleteHe said "this time around". That happened in May.
ReplyDeleteOh, right.
ReplyDeleteGood thing for me is,CW is not like ABC.When it's time for TVD,i'm 100% sure it will exit the stage with proper farewell, not like Revenge.
ReplyDeletePersonally I think it's the quality of this season, it really hasn't been good at all, just one or two exceptions.
ReplyDeleteButbi
ReplyDeleteRevenge is the type of show that you could wrap up anytime. I'm hoping that the writers gave us some type of closure.
ReplyDeleteI really have no idea why ABC wouldn't just announce it as series finale now!
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected. Guess I did. People are probably losing interest.
ReplyDeleteFridays would make sense. Glee wrapped its run on Fridays, right? The diehards will follow. Fox probably can't afford to cancel it. They just don't have enough stuff. Does make me wonder where Sleepy Hollow will go now. Would they pair it with X-Files? (Wasn't that a Friday night show originally? God I loved that!)
ReplyDeleteThey made a silly move. They moved it to accomodate Resurrection and Resurrection tanked. They should have switched timeslots the first time Resurrection went below 1.2.
ReplyDeleteIkr! I don't see anything wrong with announcing things a bit early, its pretty obvious that it will be ending this season. Perhaps it could've gave them time to promote these last episodes as the final episodes of the series. I'm pretty sure some of its old fans would want to come back for the ending.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I am going back to watching Daredevil. Bye.
ReplyDeleteWow bones ratings guess more fans than he thought took David's advice ... To not watch😔
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible.
ReplyDeleteTBBT did not recover, Odd Couple is Millers 2.0, Bones could have its order cut, Crime bombed and Grey's only rebounded a bit.
Resurrection premiered to a 3.8 and ended the season as #2 new drama. They couldn't know it would collapse like it did.
ReplyDeleteThats what I've been saying when Resurrection fell below a 1.2, maybe perhaps if they stepped up earlier, perhaps maybe they would've a much more successful Sunday lineup. Now that both shows are gone and Secrets and Lies isn't doing too well either, its going to be hard for them to build the Sunday lineup. I know for sure that Nashville will pull even lower numbers then Revenge once it moves to its timeslot.
ReplyDeleteMom was awesome this week. Glad to see the ratings maintain a 2.0.
ReplyDeleteJap
ReplyDeleteBones definitely needs to go back to Friday, Sweets didn't hurt it the long layoff and separation of Booth and Brennan on screen has hurt it and of course the night its on. Bones will only have its episode order cut if Emily Deschanel doesn't want to do as many episodes. Despite the fact that these ratings are bad the show is still making FOX money in syndication and I still think they will get one more year. But Bones isn't the only show with horrible ratings decline. Obviously people are not watching this spring, even more than usual(witness TTBT big decline) I don't like Bones ratings but the last two episodes were more of what I am used to watching from them. Maybe baby and gambling story will give them a little lift
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched Mom's yet, but last week's episode was very heavy. I
ReplyDeleteam so happy for the success of the show, it is so deserved!
This week's episode is even more heavy. And it elevates the awesomeness of the show.
I agree with this. I still love it but there was a type in which it was my favorite comedy and now I have like 5 episodes piled up to watch.
ReplyDeletePOI did a 1.2 this week, too. At least Elementary had a repeat as a lead-in. Big problems.
ReplyDeleteYou have mistake in the table. The GA repeat had 1.1 not 2.1. I was shocked when I saw it. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhere is TBBT, the hit show??!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I'm surprised TBBT has dropped a lot compared to a few weeks ago, this season hasn't been good at all.
ReplyDeleteHow do two 1.4s translate to a 1.2 for Elementary?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Marc made a mistake in the 1/2 hr numbers.
ReplyDeleteI'm now honestly preparing myself for the opposite announcement. :( But honestly, what was Fox expecting after everything? At least it still beat The Following, New Girl, and Weird Loners demo-wise and beat almost everything viewer-wise. *shrugs*
ReplyDeleteSurprised at the Grey's repeat doing very well! It was the pilot that aired, wasn't it? One of the best.
ReplyDeleteSo was I. I knew something was wrong with that...
ReplyDeleteYeah, it has. I think the last time was season 4 going into season 5, but don't quote me on it.
ReplyDeleteI now am leaning to agree with you. I think the show sits firmly on the bubble now with these ratings. I really thought last week was going to be a blip.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I know it's silly, but it makes me really sad. :( It doesn't deserve to go out like this, IMO, after all these years and the sh*t Fox has put it through.
ReplyDeleteNashville will be lucky if it pulls more than a 1.0 next season. I would move Revenge to Wednesdays at 10pm next season on the fall to air a final 13-episode season, and then premiere a new show there in midseason. At least, Revenge could say goodbye decently.
ReplyDeleteI agree it would've been appropriate to end on the timeslot it began with. It was born there now it couldve ended there.
