    Loved it. It would have been a lot better if Caroline had hugged Stefan instead of walking out tho. It was really stupid of them to give her the real letter, how could they not know she'd destroy it.

    Ok apart from all the Hot sexy Stefan time!!! I thought the a new award should be given!!!! " the sexiest and hottest neck snap!!! Of the series.... Goes to Caroline!!!!

    Steroline in this episode brought the HEAT!!!! And Stefans memory about how he wants to be with Caroline was so DAMN heartbreaking, because now we have wait forever for Caroline to get beyond the grief stage before Stefan can make the first move!!!! AaaaaHhhh it's going be torturous to have to wait!!!!!

    They had to give her the real letter. They couldn't copy it nor copy Liz's handwriting. If they gave her a fake letter they would've happened to open the real letter, which they dare not do and since Caroline is a perfectionist, she would've been able to tell that the handwriting wasn't her mom's. As for their last scene, i took comfort in the fact that Caroline couldn't even bring herself to say the words she was thinking, b/c she didn't want to say it knowing it wouldn't be true. Or she didn't want it to be true. I also took comfort in Stefan's heartbroken face and him listening to her walk away. So a hug wasn't needed the emotions rang loud and clear. No worries. = )

    They could have skipped the letter and done that dream thing from the start. It was honestly 100% given that she would destroy the letter, they shouldn't have given it to her.
    Exactly my point about their last scene, I hate it when they drag these things out which is pretty much all the time in any show or movie :P

    Eh, idk. I actually liked it. To us it'd be obvious, not to them. They couldn't have given it to her in the beginning, they had just found the letter. They needed to desicate her first. Either way her burning it would be her biggest regret and that's what was planned for her. What she had to learn. The whole "consequences of flipping the switch" I hate when she's in pain. That killed me. I loved their last scene. There was a lot of emotion in it. I've been waiting for 6 years, I could wait a little longer and enjoy more angst. It's not like it was before. The feelings are out there now, they can only move forward. So i'm not upset. Hurt, but not upset.

    An excellent episode. I adore where the Cure pushed all of the characters (except Elena).
    Bonnie vs Damon was so strong, this is the stuff the writers should've given Bonnie since her mother turned Vamp. Brilliant work from Kat Graham.

    Carolie's story was so amazing, I loved all the little twists and Stefan played such a good game. The vision of Caroline and Liz was so strong.Loved the flashback to Stefan and Liz, Stefan is such a romantic dude, God so adorable. That was the perfect way to bring her back.

    And that neck break! MASTER PIECE.

    I really liked Lily in this ep. She has this great black widow spider quality to her.


    The rest of it, I feel like I wasted all these seasons watching this show. Elena still doesn't have her memories back, so to me, any decision she makes is fake. I did not watch this show for years to see any character I care about take the cure.



    Alaric and Jo are boring and suck. Stefan was good in this ep, but I'm tired of Caroline's story.

    How is Damon going to take the cure with Elena? The original problem with the cure is it is only one dose, good for one person, and Bonnie just destroyed the only known way to get back to 1903 where another cure presumably would still exist. Or does taking the cure make that person the cure for other vampires? That sounds like it would be dangerous for the person cured, to be a constant target for vampires wanting to be turned back into humans.

    When she destroyed the ascendant-- which I think we are supposed to assume she did as soon as Damon left. Unless there is another ascendant somewhere to get back there.

    Another excellent episode-
    1.Lily was in top form this episode.The way she revealed the cure secret to Damon was unexpected & fantastic!That last scene with Enzo was very sad & tragic-Love them together(no shipping of course coz that would be too weird for me).
    2.Loved all the stuff with Caroline & Stefan-Liz's cameo was perfect but i would've preferred it more it they didn't show her asking him to date Caroline-That was a little bit too much,other than that,it was heartbreaking to see Caroline crying for her Mommy at the doorsteps while she walked away!
    Elena shouldn't have given her the real letter at that time,she knew she would definitely destroy it at that time & regret it immensely latter.
    3.The delena melodrama was okay but i was kinda irritated with Damon's actions this episode.I'm glad Lily broke the news coz otherwise Damon would've dragged this secret till the finale.Damon wanting to take the cure along with her was totally expected-I called it several episodes ago.Now he will betray Bonnie to steal the Ascendent from Bonnie & go to 1903 prison world to retrieve another set of cure existing there,in turn releasing the Heretics & Kai-Good luck handling that dude!

    4.I feel sorry for Alaric,i usually love Jolaric but this episode,they felt really bland & mechanical with zero chemistry-Sorry!

    I assumed as soon as I knew Nina Dobrev was leaving and that Bonnie brought the cure back with her that Damon would find a way back to 1903 to get the other cure so he and Elena could become human together-- but why would Bonnie have not destroyed the ascendant the second Damon left? She was trying to destroy it when he got there to prevent Kai and the witchpires from making it to Mystic Falls.

    Here we go...
    1. Lily is delightfully interesting, but as a person, she's disgusting...Don't get me wrong, I admire her perseverance and her awesome demeanor but whenever she opens her mouth to talk about her family I want to gauge her eyes out. She's even worse than Esther. At least Esther loved her children. Lily doesn't give a damn.
    2. Enzo was wonderfully the voice of reason in some scenes. And I so much enjoyed it.
    3. At this point, I don't give a damn about Elena anymore...She can go to hell for all I care, but I hope she doesn't drag Damon to her hell.
    4. Speaking of Damon, I pray he doesn't take the cure. He's gonna take for the sole reason of being with Elena and by the end of the season, his "reason" is gonna exit the series...Leaving him not only without his love, but also without his immortality- in a place he was willing to bear only because of that whiny loser, Elena. I can't see him get hurt again....Esp. not this badly. It'll crush him...-_-
    5. Bonnie. Oh my, since when you became such an amazing character to watch? I love Damon way more than Bonnie, but I admire her finally standing up for herself...He kinda deserved it. And she owned the episode.
    6. Caroline's back. Shame, she was fun to watch as a humanity-less vamp. Now I don't have any damn to give about her. Sorry not sorry.
    7.I'm getting sick of seeing Stefan in the same frame as Caroline. Change your scenery dude.
    8.Oh, and Matt existed. Ok.
    Overall 7/10. A good episode, but the cure just destroyed the fun.

    Well Elena can take the cure, and Damon can suck it out of her. Remember that Amara, Silas and Katherine cycle?
    And Elena won't age like Katherine did-she's not that old. Damon won't age as long as the cure exist in his system either.
    And based on the promo they seem to be in 1994 prison world not the 1903. (I'm pretty sure the gilbert house didn't exist back then.LOL) So I don't think they'll be going to fetch the other cure.

    So for me this episode was pretty lame. Nothing really interesting .
    Beside that ,i have to say Damon is really dumb , his love for elena is so weird , the guy take all this decision according to her , to what she want..... If she left him , he's go crazy and lose it , if she want something different of him, he feel insecure and question everything. And now he is ready to sacrifice himself , sacrifice what he want for him, basically give up his identity , just to please her & not being alone ?!!... Damm , he really has abandonment's issues.

    Honestly i would have abandonment issues after being abandoned by my own mother and the person I thought i loved, and be downgraded by my own father...
    He's holding up semi sanely.

    Though his decision is really frustrating. Solely because of the fact that his "reason" is certainly gonna leave him by the finale, and he'll be left with literally nothing...

    You're right, it would have to be the 1994 prison world. I thought for some reason that was destroyed, since its only purpose was to hold Kai, but I don't know why I think that. I do wonder what could be in 1994 that they would want and how they get back there.

    I had not realized that Katherine aged only because she was so old to begin with--I thought it had to do with the fact that the cure was sucked out of her by Silas, since he nearly killed her drinking so much of her blood. If it is that easy for Damon to get the cure from drinking Elena's blood once she takes the cure, I wonder what the problem will be that results with her leaving and Damon staying.

    I read that an unexpected guest at the wedding puts Elena in danger, but the only one I can think of who would want Elena permanently, as opposed to just drinking her blood for the cure, would be Klaus, but I also read he wasn't expected to return to the show. Or his sister, Rebekah, or Katherine back from the dead, both who would probably enjoy killing human Elena. None of those explain why Elena leaves and Damon stays.

    I just hope they write it well and don't do some last minute lame write off of Elena that doesn't make sense in terms of the whole series. Viewers deserve a happy ending as much as possible.

    Ok episode. I'm glad that Caroline got her humanity back, and I loved the way Stefan went about doing it, although it was so sad. Probably the best scene in the show.


    I also loved Bonnie standing up to Damon and finally thinking about herself (since no one else will). It still sucks that she constantly ends up in this situation where people want to use her. I thought this season would be more about her, but it really isn't ...she's still more of a plot device, especially compared to characters like Damon, Caroline and Elena who have had major stories. Even Enzo has more of a story than Bonnie. There had been so much potential this season, especially with the introduction of Kai, and they screwed it up. The Lily/Damon/Enzo story is OK, but it feels more like a consolation prize. However, I have to give props to the actress who plays Lilly...another well-crafted and complex villain.


    I hope Damon doesn't take the cure with Elena....is there also a possibility that Ian S. might leave too or is he definitely staying on the show. I'm surprised that Caroline isn't as upset about not having children like Elena. She's also the only person this season who actually had a parent who truly loved her. All the other family relationships have been dysfunctional. Jo, Kai, Liv and Luke's dad was wiling to sacrifice Jo in order to prevent Kai from merging with anyone. And now we have Lily, who has made it clear that Enzo and her family of dessicated vamp-witches are more important to her than Damon or Stefan. It makes it even sadder that they killed off Liz this season and Tyler's mother a few seasons ago.

    It was an okay episode. I'm just glad Caroline got her humanity back so she could stop being so freaking annoying. Enzo seriously needs to leave the show and I'm starting to hate how the writers bend the rules on getting staked in the heart when it comes to regular cast members. It seems that Stefan can get jabbed in the heart but not completely die so long as the stake isn't directly in the heart? Come on!

    Wow love love the Steroline music line ups lately, 6x14 yours By Ella Henderson, 6x17 Hypnotic Zella Day(Make out scene), Your mine Meiko( SEX SCENE), and 6x19 This world by lena fayre!!! Arrrggghhh so frustrating don't know when we will have a romantic scene between them again! sigh!

    this episode tore my steroline heart to shreds and then burnt it ! Stefan just wanted to get things right this time. his greatest fear is that he wud mess things up somehow n she wud hate him.. hence the panic when he had to burn the letter - what if you hate me for it . . . thats his fear coming out in spades. N when caroline said - you don't want to ruin our non existent relationship.. he freaked out at that..coz that is his biggest fear. n wen she switched it back, she dint have her mom;s letter to hold on to n that devastated stefan coz he couldn't keep it safe...

    i can't.. just can't.. so now stefan thinks he's let her down in every possible way.. n that she will hate him for it and caroline thinks she's ruined everything for good..

    im so not in a good place right now. I'm gonna go cry again for the millionth time today.



    n yeah the other parts of the episode were great too... mama salvatore- big bad, matt - eh.. enzo.. sure sure.. Delena - yeah something big happened.. Elena learnt about the cure.. sad sad... what else...


    Can we talk about that memory please !! Stefan all happy and love struck ! thats why Liz said - i hope one day u'll be something more, coz he just kept on talking about caroline..first about the fact that he spent the day with her digging for a teddy bear - that sounds like a horrible way to spend your day, yet he seemed.. content.. happy n then went on to saying - 'you shud hv seen her face when the bear fell apart'.. its like he was bursting to tell someone how cute she was... n then the - i want it to be perfect !! kill me now !! that scene in contrast to the current reality just killed me, simply because it forced my brain to think about the wat ifs and the what could have been scenarios if certain tragic evens hadn't taken place and that really was depressing. I'm still reeling.


    N he dint hug caroline not coz he dint want to, coz he was overwhelmed by emotion himself. seeing caroline break, broke him and stefan being stefan places the blame squarely on his own shoulders !


    so silver lining - this is what rock bottom looks like steroliners !! it can only go up from here right ?????

    Ughh ! elena;s stupidity continues to baffle me ! She's been humanity free quite recently, dsnt she know how difficult it is to snap it back on? really elena !! like uugghh! take the cure and GO !


    Last scene -- Stefan was devastated to say the least.. he thinks she hates him ... n i think he sees that he can't help her through this like he initially wanted to coz he is part of her pain... it was just so heartbreaking ! Let me go pick up the fragments of my broken heart. BYE

    Stefan is definitely heartbroken. But he's going to fix it. Don't cry! This is good news. (despite the situation). I just wish he could've said something, then again, there was nothing he could say at that moment. Sigh..now we have to wait two episodes. BUT we can enjoy Stefan's heartbreak on the matter. Which, if you know what i mean, sounds a lot better than how i'm saying it. = /

    i wonder whether they realized how hard hitting and depressing this episode would be to a steroline shipper..coz if they were cranking up the emotions attached to steroline -- mission successful.. i feel like I'm dying inside... hope they mk it all worth it in the end.. I'm not saying season finale should end with them making sweet sweet love..coz come on thats just fan fic.. but i do want to see them be together n take it SLOW.. i can wait till mid season 7 finale for a love making session..i just want them together .. i want to see kissing n hugging n hand holding n dates and teasing n laughter and see them grow in their relationship... slgnksnhkl TVD WRITERS U LISTENING TO ME N MY FRAGILE HEART????????

    The writers know what they did. They know we're hurting. They want to take it slowly with them. So of course they're torturing us more til the finale. But i loved what Stefan said in his memory scene. I may be hurt, but i have a lot of hope for our couple. I'm very optimistic about it (which is weird). I want them to talk it out by the finale. That's all i want. (maybe a dance and a kiss). I just want Stefan to sit her down and tell her what he feels for her. That's all i wanted all season. He still hasn't had a chance to do that. It bugs me! They can begin their relationship as an official couple next season. They'll have dates, and best friend moments as well as romantic/tender ones. They're gonna be sooo cute. I can definitely wait on the sex/love making. I don't want that for them. Iike you, i want them to tread lightly, but stay moving!

    "I'm in a mood" I see! I'm not even sure what to say, I'm not sure I caught all that. But I hear ya. LOL

    I agree about what you said about Stefan that he underestimated his feelings for her. And I feel him sharing that memory made episode 14 much more sweeter because he hadn't planned it. Especially with what he said to Liz (In the memory) and yet when Caroline said she never hated him he couldn't wait anymore. So he slipped up but he loved it. It did suck that Liz died moments after their first kiss, Stefan really kicked himself with that one.The panic was understandable.

    Swoon. episode 14 is much more special to me now b/c of that memory scene. Liz knew that Stefan liked Caroline, (Which explains Liz's words during their phone call) it explains that Stefan was also at the cabin for himself, he wanted to be around Caroline. Caroline kept wanting to know why Stefan was there, so he couldn't lie to her then when he spills out some of his feelings and opens up to her, he let his guard down, and kissed her. I love that he was thinking about it and he just kept looking at her saying, "I can't hold it back anymore." And both their smiles were soooo cute!!

    I look forward to how Stefan will react next week as far as Caroline is concerned. And i don't want him to go to Damon for advice about it. Not at all. I hope Stefan calls her, she won't pick up, but still it counts.

    i think he will leave her a voicemail.. pretty confident about that - drawing a parallel to caroline in 601 leaving him a voicemail... n no he dsnt need anyones ADVICE, coz nobody really knows how he feels about her and because of that 'ppl' tend to jump to all the wrong conclusions, resulting in terrible advice. what he needs to do is get over his whole guilt trip and realize thats its make or break now and that he needs to be with Caroline. coz even though its sweet and romantic that he wanted it to be 'perfect', lets face facts, in TVD - theres no such thing as perfect timing, something is always happening and theres no such thing as a perfect relationship, thats just silly. There is no perfect in this world or in any world, so forget perfect and go get your girl already ! Seriously ! about time.. i can't deal this angst in season 7...nope i can't.. they need to get together in the finale..
