    Evil Steroline was pretty great. They were bad and still managed to be oddly cute together. Caroline insulting her exes was very satisfying, and Stefan spent the majority of the episode kinda standing back being proud of her.

    Elena somehow still managed to make someone elses pregnancy about her.

    I'm glad we have Stefan back because he's the one who can bring Caroline back. Eviline was great and all, but it's time to get the real one back. The betrayal didn't surprise me one bit.

    The only thing that was great about this episode was the ending about vampire/witches Stefan and Caroline was so annoying wanted someone to kill them and I thought Enzo was annoying he didn't even bother me this episode and where is Bonnie

    Ok, I didn't care for this episode much. Everything out of Elena's mouth with Jo made me roll my eyes. I swear this whole thing is sooo forced. I can't take any of it seriously. It's pushed in this direction b/c she's leaving and I can't shake it. Now I just want her to take the cure and be done with it. Just stop stalling b/c you already ruined the shock factor of it all. Smmfh.

    Enzo's whole backstory was boring. I found myself zoning in and out when Lily was talking to him. But he was the most adorable little human. I'll give him that. He was so cute. But his scenes with Sarah bored me. She bored me. I just want her interact with the boys from here on out.

    Steroline- They weren't as fun as last episode. They annoyed me. Yet they were still the highlight of the episode for me. (B/c duh) I knew Stefan would walk in and answer the question about Liz's last memory. I smiled like a fool with that. Lol And when Stefan told Damon he would find her the same night, I was all, yesss go get her!!! I'm so mad they didn't show it. But he knows her, so he'll find her. I didn't expect her to stab him either, but I should've seen that coming.

    Damon- I thought his plan would backfire but he knows Stefan like the back of his freaking hand, so when Damon was telling Lily exactly what to say, I said. NICEEEE DAMON! God I love him!! Lily got lucky, because w/o Damon's guidance, she would've been screwed.

    Lily- I knew I couldn't trust her!! And what??? Soo she wants to raise 6 vampires with witch powers?? And what??? 6 VAMPIRES...VAM-PI-RES..WITH WITCH POWERS??? WHOA!! Now that surprised me! I'm not even sure if I get it. I'm a bit confused on that. Actually this reveal was the best part of the episode for me.


    Next week, my theory finally comes through!! Stefan goes undercover to get his girl back!! Gah! I'm so excited!! It's totally gonna work too!! I can't wait it's gonna be funny. I can't wait to see how he does it, I seriously can't take Caroline like this anymore. It's gone on long enough. The episode as a whole....i voted ok. And poor Matty blue blue always getting the short end of the stick. (see what i did there?) = p

    Aaaaamazing TVD episode!!! Please more. I do not like Steroline, but their very funny scene. Forwood chemistry is still, in spite of this,, hate ''. OMG! hybrid of vampire and witch! OMG! I am shocked! Writers surprised me ... finally. Bad Caroline - please stay like that. Stefan back :( I wanted more teeth to smile and played, but now I'll be gone again,, normal '' Stefan. Enzo flashbacks are great. Enzo and Sarah intriguing.

    Good episode tonight. I even liked Enzo's story and I thought I'd hate the flashbacks.

    Evil Caroline and Stefan are fun. Very entertaining. However, the best part was the fact that it was Damon that really brought Stefan back. Stefan/Damon has always been one of my favorite aspects of the show.

    Hmm, not sure I like the Vampire/witches story

All of which can't happen until she gets her humanity back on. He seriously needs to capture her now. He better not fail and he needs to not hold back anymore! He needs to say what he feels.

    I hate how they act like Forwood never happened. Why wasn't Caroline trying to kill Stefan? Why just Matt & Tyler? I didn't like it.


    I really hate when they retcon the mythology so these new witch-vamps I'm really annoyed by, because if that was possible than we would have seen the before. All the Originals would have retained witch powers and so would Bonnie's mother and other witches.


    The only thing that kind of makes sense now is why Lily was trapped - it wasn't her that the coven wanted to trap, it was their own kind (just like with Kai).

    Now that i'm all for. lol But she needs her humanity back. This wait is killing me! I want them to have the steroline dance at Jolaric's wedding. We get a Steroline dance every year!! Every freaking season they get one! I don't want that to stop just b/c they become an official couple! It's a tradition!!! One that needs to be seen through BEFORE this season is over! It's going to be soooo cute!

    I don't want to be a downer but I think Caroline will turn her humanity on and avoid Stefan for the rest of the season, or he'll avoid her. From spoilers etc that I've read I'm predicting Caroline will turn it back on in ep 19, she's not in 20, and I'm not sure there's steroline in ep 21, leaving episode 22 which will focus on Nina's exit of TVD (I think she'll take the cure in either 21 or 22). Have to say I'm not that excited for the rest of the season and even though I don't like Elena anymore I'll probably still cry buckets when she leaves.

    Whoaaaa, I stopped reading when you said "From spoilers" sorry. You know I stay in the dark the further Ahead we go. BUT I will say I feel she'll ignore him til the wedding. She won't be in episode 20. That I know. After that he'll make his move. I'm sure of it. So I have a lot of hope. He'll get through to her by the wedding. And no one, shipper, or anti, is changing my mind on that one. For now I jus want him to get her back. I'm more concerned with what he'll say, how he'll do it, then it actually happening. So there's a lot of good stuff ahead for me, with these two. One step at a time. I look forward to their relationship in season 7. Which is what I figured the writers would start their relationship anyway. As a real couple i mean. I'm not worried. = )

    lol Sorry didn't realise. Those were really my speculations based around spoilers that I've read. I'm glad you're not worried cause I could use you're positivity Shannon, I'm feeling slightly down about steroline now given some spoilers or maybe it's more speculation that I've read. I really feel though that after her humanity is back on the focus of the show will shift back to Elena, I don't like that back I understand why it's necessary given Nina's departure.
    Something I found interesting was that I watched an interview with Candice earlier and she said that her and Paul were told ages ago, (I got the impression that she meant years ago), that they were at some point through the series were going to put their characters together. The show runners have really wanted to slow burn this pair together for years.

    I love the idea of witch/vampires. I have wanted them to do something like that for The Originals and a character who is all three. Witch/Vampire/Werewolf combo.


    I like how Lily is alot tougher than she seems. I hope she gets to stick around.


    NOOOOO cure for Elena. Absolutely not. NO. I'd rather have her killed off.

    I dont care about Enzo really. Convinient and pointless conection to Damon and all, he was his friend already why do this?.
    And i have always wondered when they were gonna do the Witches can be Vampires thing but i thought it was gonna be used in The Originals with Esther being a powerfull witch and all.
    Matt as the punching bag he has always been. He should leave next, there hasnt been a good storyline for him in years.

    It's cool. Oh and just so you know, by the season finale..No spoilers whatsoever! I probably won't even be on the day it airs. (With season finales iI never spoil myself with any of my shows). I think you're letting the speculation get to your head. So you're afraid that when Caroline comes back her and Stefan won't have a chance to talk because Elena is going to want to take the cure? LOL Girl please. Elena's going to turn to Bonnie for advice about that, not Caroline. I'm not even surprised in the least bit that it would be "about Elena". She's leaving. She'll have a nice talk with Stefan, he'll wish her well, she'll wish him and Caroline well and that'll be that. As far as Caroline's involved, when Elena pecks her little head in, Stefan's very defensive when it comes to her. (I love that). So next week when Elena finds out they slept together, i feel like i'll love it because Stefan will own it. He'll be all, "Yeah that's right. We did it and it was amazing. And what?" LOL

    As for as the interview. Was it new? It doesn't matter, Paul's been waiting for Steroline to happen for years. Candice has been loving it. She ships Steroline so hard. And the writers kept saying they've had that in the back of their head since season 2 and planted the seed in season 4. I never believed that. I just know when I was for them. And have been waiting for years. Slow burn indeed. But i'm kinda here now, so all I can do is enjoy it. The best I can anyway.

    Good to know though it'll be strange if you're not on here during the season finale. I didn't mean I was worried Elena would get between Caroline and Stefan I just meant all the screen time will be taking up by Elena or the characters talking about Elena and steroline will be dropped. It's not suprising the writers are constantly dropping plots and picking them up again many episodes later. I really hope you're right about Stefan's attitude towards their hook up lol.     I'll probably come on to say hi and do the countdown. But as far as reading/discussing anything. I won't be clicking on anything. I may look at a web clip or two, but that's about it. I'll be on after it's done airing though. The finale is the day before my bday so it better be a good bday present for me. And iI know what you meant about the "Elena focus" sorry, did it come out the other way? Lol oops! Idk, Idt they'll just drop it b/c of Elena's random ass decision (rolls eyes). it's been a huge arc this entire season, they can't just stop b/c Elena's getting all nostalgic. She's been in the background all season. It would seriously make no sense. But I wouldn't be surprised if the focus was on her, b/c well..it's her and again she is leaving. It's tricky is what it is. Smh annoying too.

    The Eonline interview right? I JUST watched it!! Could Candice be more adorable?? I've been waiting for that interview. I can't wait til we get one with her and Paul. I loved the interview and I'm so happy that they're happy to know that we support them immensely!!! I loved Candice bringing up Joey anSpacey, as I've always seen the connection between the two couples. And I feel she pretty much confirmed that they will be a couple. So I'm glad I could get her reaction on the matter, b/c now I feel more hopeful than before.It's going to be rocky but it's so natural it's supposed to be! I love that's she's for it.

    Yep that was it, I loved the interview, I'm such a big fan of Candice. I hope we will get one with her and Paul, I love how much they both love steroline too. With all the comparisons with Joey and Pacey I wonder if it hints that they are endgame but I really don't want to get my hopes up. I want them to be together by the end of the season but I can't help this sinking feeling that I have, it's like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop!
    I hope the finale is a good birthday present for you and good luck on staying spoiler free. I honestly don't know how I would avoid spoilers if I wanted to they always seem to be all over tumblr and twitter, and anyway I'm one of those people who sometimes reads the last page of book first lol.
    Given how this show sometimes goes I can totally see the Elena focus coming back, and in the process dropping steroline for the remainder of S6. We're talking about a show that would have multiple characters routinely risk their own lives for Elena's well being for no apparent reason. I never could understand that. So I can see the show returning to that Elena is the centre of everyone's world focus. If I wasn't so invested in steroline I'd be laughing, so instead it's just really frustrating.

    I'm a big fan of hers too. I love her to pieces, she's adorable. We're supposed to get one with her and Paul. Paul was totally happy when he found out, it was funny. He made some comment about it I was cracking up. He's definitely up to do an interview, if he doesn't do one I call bullshit! B/c I know he wants to do one. And if DE has won that poll, both of the, would be doing an interview. So if there's an excuse it's bull!

    I never think that far ahead with the "endgame" status. I literally hate that word. Never havI shipped a couple for endgame status. (But every shipI ever shipped ended up together and i never expected it) I'm sorry you can't shake that feeling. If you keep thinking like that, you're never going to enjoy the good with them now. Every good moment they have is going to go right over your head because you keep concentrating on the negative. (And this is coming from a huge pessimist IRL). Relax. Breathe. Look for the silver lining. Get over it. LOL

I don't go on either of those sites. I hate them. And staying spoiler free, been doing it for years. Even now, I have a system that works for me, it's very easy for me to restrain myself. I like not always being in the know. In fact I hate that. Bits and pieces here and there, but there's a lot of spoilers iI stay away from, (especially on this site, regardless of the name) but finales, iI definitely need the shock factor.

    Heavy sigh. "It's Elena." Shrugs. Well only 4 more to then you won't be frustrated anymore by that. Lol season 7 should be your season. ; )

    I'm excited for season 7, if done right it has the potential to be as good as the earlier seasons.
    I'm not big with the endgame status either, it's just I've read a few interviews where Pacey and Joey were bought up in relation to steroline which kind of makes me think of the endgame. I'll be honest I watched Dawson's Creek, though I was never a shipper of anything, and I always expected that Dawson and Joey would end up together so I was really surprised by the final episode lol.
    I really want the joint interview too, because I think Paul and Candice would definitely be up for it, so if it doesn't happen I'll l feel shafted. You're right if delena had won, we'd probably already have the interview.
    I'm going to try and do what you suggested though and enjoy the ride. Hopefully next week will be a good episode :)

    Loved that opening scene. Caroline killing that guy with compulsion. Great! That Karaoke line was hilarious.
    The way Steroline messed with Matt and Taylor was so enjoyable, so twisty and daring. Caroline dumping Stefan! Awesome.
    Lily bringing Stefan back was so beautiful, I mean it was Damon who brought him back but still the words and the way the camera moved was just captivating.
    Damon and Lily interaction was pure gold. Annie killed it. Loved the writing for those two.
    The Enzo story let me flat a bit hoped for a bigger emotional grip. it's obvious Lily met Enzo as a child as she knew the Lullaby he loved. But on the other hand I really enjoyed Sarah Salvatore hope she sticks around a bit.
    NOW to the Elena story of the night. I found it very well layered and enjoyed her scenes, it was sincere and I think those are real question Vampires would ask themselves, especially the type of person Elena is, who always lingered for a family.
    HERETICS!!!!!!!!!! Wow. The explanation was brilliant and really engaging. We prayed for an intriguing new "mythology" here we got it. ^_^

    So here’s what I gathered from last night’s episode:

    - Lily’s a vampire/witch hybrid (she was having some witchy fun with those screws), which means that she comes from a magical family. It makes sense. I guess she’s descended from Silas or his brother.
    - Ripper = vampire with magical powers.
    - If Lily is a witch, then it means that both Damon and Stefan are witches, too. After all, witchcraft is hereditary.
    - But I’m guessing that Damon was a regular witch (he's not a ripper!), so he no longer has any powers. After all, Bonnie found out she was a witch when she was 17, and it was because of her Grams. Damon probably had no mentor = no explanation = no knowledge about his powers.
    - Stefan’s a ripper because he's just like Kai.

    Which means that we may see Stefan with some magical powers of his own. More than that, this whole thing may lead to a cure for Stefan's ripper tendencies. He may feed on his own magic, or the Gemini coven may help him with a solution. Unless his name appears on their hit list (ripper = no bueno).

    Another solid installment!
    1.Steroline were great-I loved how Caroline insulted & teased her exes & Stefan just stood there in the background relishing in their awkwardness & humiliation.I really wanted Caroline to stab Tyler & kill him!
    2.Lily turned out to be a loose cannon-No surprise here.My heart broke when she told Damon she doesn't love her sons anymore.Ouch!Harsh,woman!
    3.The Flashbacks were great-Both Annie & Malarkey acted real well in those scenes.If anyone missed it,Lily knew what Lullaby Enzo liked,so i'm pretty sure this is not the first time they've met.All of this will be revealed in the finale,i'm sure.They also carefully dropped a hint about someone abandoning Enzo at a warehouse at the age of 4.Subtle,TVD writers!
    4.This whole Elena humanity-child wishing arc is feeling forced & convenient now that the news of Nina's exit has leaked.Only thing i can say,elena should take the cure & get out of Mystic Falls ASAP.
    5.Ian was great in this episode,his expressions were heartbreaking throughout the episode,poor guy.Someone hug him!
    6.Loved the reunion scene between Stefan & Lily,also the fact that it was actually Damon who brought his brother back from the deep end,not his mother.#Defan Forever!Can't wait to see how Stefan does the same for caroline in the next episode.
    7.The end twist was really surprising-New mythology with no retconning-Nice!They actually surprised me with this Heretics after a long time.Can't wait to see if Kai turned into one.Can't imagine the mess they'll create when they come to Mystic Falls!
    8.Only Drawback-No bonnie.Not acceptable!

    Lily pried open those coffins with her mind,not using anything elese.So,if's safe to say she's both.If she was only a Ripper,she couldn't have done that now,can she?
    As for Stefan,we'll have to wait and see.Seeing as Siphoner are an abomination of the regular witch variety,i wonder if Stefan falls under that category.

    Right now I'm thinking that Lily killed Enzo's parents (or one of her friends did it) and she took pity on nim, because he remained her of her own family. She was probably his guardian angel. I'm still not sold on the idea that he's Giuseppe's son (or even Lily's), because, physically,he'd have to be around 40. Which is just ridiculous, if we consider the fact that Paul's playing a 17-year old kid.

    Ya,she knew him in some way during his childhood-That part is sure but it's the how that's unclear.Son theory is not that far off,if you overlook the obvious age plothole.Considering they showed Damon looked exactly the same as in 1858 & 1864.whereas Stefan magically transformed into a young lad from a child-i wouldn't put it past the writers.

    DEFAN DEFAN DEFAN - THIS EPISODE WAS ALL ABOUT DEFAN FOR ME !!!
    I'll admit, Damon has never been a favorite of mine..but this episode just blew me away. As far as I'm concerned , it was damon who brought Stefan back, not Lily....

    BITCH BITCH BITCH.. like how can u not love your kids ? i thought wen you become a vampire your emotions are heightened..so u shud love them to the nth degree....unless u hv always deep down never 'wanted' them and saw them as part of the life that kept you in shackles, unwanted n unloved.

    Is it just me, or was he dotting on Caroline !! thats what i thought anyways. I love that they are so connected even with their humanities off. When Elena's humanity was off she cudnt give a f*&^* about Damon. It just makes their bond so much more profound to me. Its not just about romantic love its also about companionship and the fact that they want to be around each other to have fun. it just brings more depth into their relationship according to me. Coz unlike delena, its not one moment that made them fall for each other, its a 100 moments of friendship, laughter, choosing one another, fighting side by side, being there for each other...n it doesn't fade away with the humanity switch .. loving them !

    also side note - loved how stefan said it out loud that he thought tyler was an ass to caroline during their relationship.. we all knew he was thinking it..

    In the very beginning I shipped Dawson and Joey (because I could definitely relate to her). But when Pacey started having feelings for her, I saw how much better he was for Joey, and started shipping them. I was so for it and never looked back. Their relationship was so much better than hers and Dawson's. It was real. After awhile I still shipped Dawson and Joey, as soul mates but not as romantic soul mates. I shipped them the way Dawson shipped them at the end. As friends, and w/e else. But as for being "the love of her life" that went to Pacey. I was beyond thrilled when in the series finale she picked him. If it would've been Dawson, it would've been so off. And I cried like a baby during that whole finale. So many great moments.

    Seriously though! If DE had won, we would've had the interview already and probabLy 5 More after that. Smh. I hope by next week we get it. And GREAT!! Let's see how you do next week. I'll be looking for something positive to read in your comment. = )

    EVERYTHING concerning Elena now feels forced because like you said we know it's all a set-up for Nina's exit. We shouldn't know about that! It's hard to keep things under wraps but it's all speculation until there's confirmation, and Nina's oh-so-pr announcement was the mother of all spoilers. Whatever finally happens to Elena I will feel "oh" instead of OMG. I feel cheated.

    As far as Enzo - meh. He's still not on solid motivational ground yet IMO. He runs one way, then another. I was happy though to see Sarah show some Salvatore fire. Her character got a little more fleshed out for me.

    I can no longer stand Caroline playing "Humanity-less Barbie". I love Candice but Caro has gotten so manic. She's like fingernails on a chalkboard for me now. Stefan can't trigger her humanity fast enough to suit me!

    Without Damon's guidance, which I think was beautifully handled by the director, it's Stefan who would've been screwed. Lily told him she didn't remember the love she had for her sons anymore but Damon pushed her to approach Stefan and told her the exact words to say he knew would reach his brother. Damon is the only one who solves, or tries to solve, problems. That, and because he loves his little brother so much, are some of the reasons I too love him.

    Regarding Lily, I think her mind has been warped by her turning. She's possibly insane, in the sense that she doesn't know right from wrong. Like Damon she may feel that everything she does is for love or for good but it's all terribly twisted by evil, and insane people don't realize that. This witch/vampire thing which was revealed in such a terribly time-constrained rush by Jo is really off the charts. It shows promise.

    The episode seemed more packed full than usual - maybe overly so - but I liked some of the scenes a lot so I voted Great - maybe a tad too generous. Still, I can hardly wait for next week. I intend to fasten my seat belt - I think it's going to be a bumpy ride!

    OK episode, but I missed seeing Kai and Bonnie. We waited for almost an entire season to get Bonnie back, and even when she's back, she's still not featured. I just wish the writers would stop promising a story for her instead of stringing viewers along. Technically, she isn't even a series regular anymore.

    The Mama Salvatore story was interesting and very ominous; I loved the reunion with Stefan, even though she was faking it. Stefan and Caroline were funny together in the Karaoke bar, but it's time for Caroline to turn back on her emotions. I really can't blame Matt for hating vampires. At this point, all of his friends have tried to hurt him and used the "turning off their emotions" reason as an excuse. It actually annoys me that Caroline turned off her emotions knowing fully well that it could cause her to hurt those closest to her. It just seems irresponsible and selfish. BTW, Tyler was never a jerk to Caroline in their relationship. I wish they'd stop implying that. So are Jo and Alaric having twins? That would be somewhat bittersweet. I like Elena, but she does need to stop making everything about her (in this case Jo's pregnancy). The Gemini coven really needs to think of a better way of dealing with their most dangerous enemies.

    character development for Stefan? get real. this is never going to happen. they've proven again and again that they can't write for Stefan and prefer to attach him to other peoples storylines, I think Caroline Dries even admitted she doesn't know how to write for him. throughout the series, Damon had a redemption arc and Elena had her vampire arc, and they both changed quite a bit, but Stefan is the only one that stayed exactly the same from episode 1. this whole season they wrote a story of Caroline and they wrote a story for Enzo and Stefan was just there.

I think he'll do it this time. I mean i'm a bit bummed it has to be with her humanity off. But what makes me feel better is that he was really ready and able to tell her how he felt before this shit happened. So with her humanity on or off he was going to tell her his real feelings regardless. Albeit in a more "manish" way. I just hope he does it again WITH her humanity on before this season is over. I just reallyyyy want them to talk about it. I just need him to make the first move, b/c we already know how Caroline feels. I mean we know how he feels too, but he hasn't said it. But he will.

    This was a solid episode...watching this episode was awesome for a damon because he was the true hero of the episode. after getting one of the biggest blows of his life he still managed to show as much love and respect for his brother than we've seen in a long time. I can't, and at the same time can wait for stefan to find out the truth about his mother. Stefan will be hurt, no, devastated, but at least he will see who his real family is and how big of a sacrifice he was willing to make for him. I question if stefan really knows still, I'm sure this might prove how strong of a team defan truly is. I am not, however, excited to find out what bonnie will do to damon, but it was worth the cost.

    I already knew Caroline wouldn't be in ep 20, but I think maybe her grief will take a backseat and she'll be consumed by guilt over the people she killed. I don't think the writers are finished with the steroline angst though so I'm fully prepared for the scene in ep 21 to be some sort of a rejection :(

    i think she will reject him in 19 (wen her humanity is back) and in 20, like u said she will be dealing with her guilt more than her grief..i think her guilt will be more overpowering than any feelings she has for stefan. the synopsis of 21 says caroline will come to a realization about stefan...so by 21 i think caroline will be back to being open about a relationship.,i don't know if she will get to express it though with all the commotion that is to be expected... but yeah but finale they shud be together.. simply because dragging it to next season won't really add to the angst, 6 months is a long time to stay connected to their 'angst' and carry it fwd...i don't think it can be done

    i forgave his cave man "i like you" dialogue (epic eye roll), coz my theory is that it was never meant to be his love confession, he was just testing her to see if he was her trigger. which is why he went to elena and said - IT WORKED and elena was like your her emotional trigger ???

    I agree with that actually. 100% It wasn't a love confession. he didn't have time. He wasn't gonna get through to her like that. And i don't agree with the "great party i like you." He wasn't that nonchalant about it. But the hand touch/caressing face and "please come back." that was real. That wasn't a plan, that's where he slipped up.
