Such a great and intense finale. Team worked well and had a great plan as usual. Also quite an emotional episode with the love interest of Walter and Paige.
Not sure why my post didn't show. Weird! Well anyway I loved the episode and even though I knew Walter would survive i was still on the edge of my seat. Also I love all the Eaige goodness tonight. I honestly didn't think we would get so much. Can't wait for season 2
I really loved this season of Scorpion I literally enjoyed every episode from start to finish. The way it ended with Paige and Walter having they're finale moment sort of was amazing. See you for season two.
AMAZING EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Walter being wounded surprised me i thought he was stuck not impaled. All the Waige moments were AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Walter wanting to see Paige all episode was so AWESOME!!!!!! and Paige KISSING WALTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! funny that she can't tell him she loves even when he's unconscious LOL. Overall BEST episode of the season
I liked finale so much. It wasn't cliffhanger episode for the next season but it was an awesome. They really did the best they could for the finale. They really focused on the team skills to help and save Walter. They showed to us emotions without romance for the most part of the episode which I really liked. For the first season I didn't want to see relationships made so quickly. Tho I expected more for Toby and Happy at the end.
*sniffles as I wipe away my tears* That was such an amazing episode of television, I loved every moment of it. This show has been so great, I'm delighted it's coming back for a second season :) It turned out to be one hell of emotional show. I think the part that got to me most was Ralph thanking Paige for not making him leave Scorpion. My first procedural show was a huge success!
Amazing episode. Great finale. I loved seing Walter act like a human being... Of course, me being me, I'd want to see MUCH more of Happy&Toby to get me through these long months ahead of me, buuuuuut, still was an amazing episode, nonetheless.
I almost gave up on this show earlier in the season, and I'm so glad I didn't. I've fallen in love with all of these characters. I loved this episode, and I can't wait for season 2.
I loved this episode! I really loved how Walter's EQ outshined rational thought when he wanted to speak to Paige throughout the episode! :) I loved how the writers didn't push the romance too much. While I loved the kiss at the end, I'm glad Walter was unconscious because I still think his EQ needs to develop more before he and Paige share their first kiss-kiss. :) And I'm glad that QUINTIS are on solid ground now. They're talking again, and that's good. :) GREAT episode! AWESOME! Beautiful! I LOVED IT! :)
Awesome episode! Loved how every single member of the team got their moment to shine. It looks like Ralph is starting to find his voice with his mom. He was clearly stating his displeasure about going to Maine. It broke my heart when Paige and Ralph were in the car listening to the news that was broadcasting the fatal prediction of Walter's car accident. Ralph sat in the back seat with tears in his eyes saying ... He's my friend.
Team Scorpion is back on track and now closer than ever. That's how I love my season finales. An action packed episode with a satisfying resolution instead of an angsty cliffhanger that drives you crazy for months until the next season premier. I do think there is one noticeable part that is an intention dangling point that will be picked up next season. When Paige and Ralph were running past the barricade at the accident scene there was a woman who saw Paige. This mystery woman started to open her mouth as if she were going to yell to Paige while reaching out toward her. I think this woman has a connection of one of gang, most likely Paige or Walter.
For me, the suspense wasn't "Would Walter survive?" but "How badly would he be injured?" And of course, who would confess their feelings first, Walter or Paige. *heart eyes*
Great way to wrap up the first season. After a season of character progress and development it all culminated in the payoff this episode offered. It was interesting to see how the team was not as effective without Cabe, Paige, and even Ralph because they lack the people skills Paige brought and the security clearance that came along with their government handler Cabe. This was illustrated by the failed attempt of Happy and Toby when they tried to control the effort to save Walter, but instead ended up in the back of the cop car after Happy talked down to the officer. Speaking of Happy, she was probably the all-star of this episode IMO - the telephone conversation with Paige was the first fight we've seen between the 2 where the only time b4 that was when every1 was telling Paige their advice on what to do in regard to Ralph and Drew. It really showed how much Happy - as distant and emotionless she can seem at times - was affected by Paige's decision to break up the only family she knows. I also loved her reaction to Walter's reminiscing where she would not even let him talk to her as if he wasn't going to make it because it was a reality and option she was not willing to accept. I had a couple of laughs during this episode as serious as the tone was throughout - I loved the lines that winked at a season of crazy cases where Scorpion acknowledged they've been through just about everything so this case's challenge were nothing new (except the team's leader's life was on the line tho it's been a number of times before). The one moment that had me LOL was Happy and Ralph's exchange of reading material in the Hospital - it came off so cute to see her bonding with the young boy. All in all, great episode with a lot of feels - I loved Walter's reveal to Cabe when he thought he was dying it was interesting to find out Walter did that for Cabe after everything between them. Looking forward to season 2 - i wonder what we can look forward to in terms of the grander scheme of the show and maybe more mythology besides the random COTW - maybe recurring bad guys or back story for the team would be nice. Obviously we're moving towards the relationships developing between Waige and Tappy considering that what the finale was all about and the show in general.
The episode had me sniffing eventhough Walter dying had a 97% chance of not happening. The team showed (to me) that they really bring out the best in each other. Does anybody els wonder if an other Paige would have been better or am i just not connecting with her character because the moment she was on the scene of the car crash it stopped flowing in such a tight line. I am really impressed with how well we got to see Ralph display emotions in his own way.
I really like Paige, and I liked her scenes with Ralph. Nice to actually see her be Ralph's mom, which the show hasn't really shown us enough, but I still think the writers need to utilise her better next season. Get her more involved in the action stuff.
Thought this was a really good finale, and it worked so well because I think the writers have done a great job with all the characters this season, that I bought into it completely. I could completely understand Paige's decision to take Ralph away from the team for example, but then understood why Happy was mad at her with her with her abandonment issues. I still waver with my feelings for Walter because he can still be so arrogant and obnoxious, but I guess that's the point, and he has definitely evolved! The action is ridiculous at times, but it's fun escapism. Look forward to s2. Oh and the Waige moment at the end was cute!
The poor CGI in the rescue scene aside, it was a good episode. The ending was a little anti-climactic, though. I was hoping that either Walter would say "I love you" to Paige in his sleep with her listening, or Paige saying ti to Walter, thinking he is asleep but he is actually awake and hears it.
Has anyone notice that this season started out with a Ferrari in the first episode saving the day so to speak and the season ended with a Ferrari crashing at the end of the season
This was alright but there was too much sappy resolution for me. It's like they planned the finale like a possible series finale in case they weren't renewed, but they did know. I think I would have liked a cliffhanger better.
There is still a little bit of a cliffhanger in there if you look for it, such as, what is Cabe going to do since he is no longer with Homeland, how is Drew going to react with Paige's decision to remain in LA, and who was that woman at the barricade who looked like she want to call out to Paige or was just shocked at the fact the Paige ran past her and the barricade without anyone stopping her or Ralph because for some reason there was a short attention paid to her for some reason or another. So there are some open ended questions that was still left unanswered. Another question that was never clarified in the this season is what about Walter and Megan's parents are they still alive in Ireland or not?
That's all minor series continuation stuff, not big season-ending stuff. That's why this was fitting for a series finale as well as a season finale. It didn't absurdly try to tie everything in a nice little bow but realistically ended things that would have been satisfying enough if the show weren't to return.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Such a great and intense finale. Team worked well and had a great plan as usual. Also quite an emotional episode with the love interest of Walter and Paige.

ReplyDeleteno cliffhanger I guess just a happy ending relationship rekindle?

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Very Intense Episode, Glad group is back together and glad Walter and Cabe made nice fast. And oh that end, good tease.

ReplyDeleteSo..., when is September again..?
ReplyDeleteThat episode just had me at the edge of my seat, even if we all knew how it was going to end. It's gonna be quite long months to wait...

ReplyDeleteIt was a wonderful episode!!

ReplyDeleteIt was a kiss on the lips, not the cheek. :) (well, partially on the lips)
ReplyDeleteYeah the CGI was bad! Lol
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
