Easy the better eps of the season This is what this season should have focused on not all the things they did. God those S1 clips reminded me how perfect S1 was!
For a clip/hybrid episode, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleased. I do hate that Margaux once again flip-flopped. Louise is going to get bitch slapped, and Victoria, though I feel bad for her, she needs to make peace with her sins and stop trying to crucify Emily/Amanda for everything.
The issue with this show is that they do not know what to do with Victoria unless she is having a disagreement with Emily/Other. THey dont. She is almost directionless now that basically her whole'family' is gone.
Yes, it is out there, the end is near. It said in the promo "the war between Emily and Victoria will end, be there for the final four episodes". I think it says it all.
Well i will miss it, no doubt. At least it is getting closure and abc is actually promoting it to be the finale episodes. I will truely miss the show though😢 bring it on though!!!!
I absolutely enjoyed this episode, I was feeling all kinds of emotions, it was a wonderful ride for me, I'm full of so many regrets not having watched the first season, the flashbacks said it all for me, I've missed a lot of great episodes, with that said I sure hope this isn't the end but, if it is I hope they wrap it up, looks like Emily/Amanda has a new enemy or someone she's crossed paths with, and now here comes,Louise, Margaux and Victoria they haven't learned yet Emily is the wrong one to keep trying to cross!!!
Excuse my language, but how the fuck did Revenge pulled off a clip episode?! Honestly, it was awesome, the clips brought tons of notalgia and worked wonders with the tone of the episode.
Emily went even more forward with her revelations, take downs came back and as a whole it just came together great.
I'm just baffled by how great it worked, I thought it would fall apart, but it worked!
I'm actually shocked that the Revenge writer manged to make a clip episode work, and yet they have struggled with actual episodes. I mean, where's the logic on that?
Judging from the Final 4 episode promo if this is the end I just wanna say I love Revengers and Mike Kelly. The show was so amazing and being apart of this fan base was so much fun even though most of them disappeared the loyal ones stayed till the end and that's all that matters. Love You Guys :(
Great use of the old Clip Episode trope. I kept checking to see if it was labeled series finale in the schedule. Seems like odds are high that the show will be canceled. Oh, the announcer said "Be there for the final four episodes." So, I guess that tears it. The show's been canceled. Well, I'll be there. I've really enjoyed the run.
This is good news for revenge, this interview was made on February, but the showrunner said that he wrote finales for revenge one in case it was renewed and the other in case it was cancelled.
It was a solid episode, I'm not wowed like almost everyone here. Loved Victoria's line about Amanda digging a grave for her especially with the upcoming season finale title.
The use of the "You&I" song in the Emily David scene was just wonderful.
Very much intrigued to see who was that in the final shot! Lydia?
I really loved this episode. And seeing the Aiden clips at the end just made me miss him all over again... I can't help but feel it was Mason Treadwell at the end, we didn't get any of his flashbacks this ep.
I agree about this episode effectively using the clips from the past. It was nice for Amanda to reflect on all who were lost during Emily's journey of Revenge. This episode made me fall in love with Revenge all over again and realize how glad I am for remaining with the show to see this final payoff.
I like how the writers had Amanda announce that for the first time she doesn't even know what to expect. I think that speaks volumes about the future of the show.
That's the whole point. Like Emily said in the pilot "when everything you love has been stolen from you, all you have left is revenge" (to be sure I feel no sympathy for her). Though Victoria still has Margaux, Charlotte and Patrick she doesn't seem to care. For her Daniel has always been her whole world, she's always been obsessed with him. She hasn't mentioned Patrick since he left and Charlotte like once, since she left too. Even when Daniel was alive he didn't want to know her. Besides crazy Margaux, Louise and Pascal no one liked her. She's never really had a life, I mean she was a socialite. What is there to do but go to parties?
To those saying "final for episodes" means this the he final season, you are forgetting EVERY single show does this when they have a few episodes to go. Every single one. You are reading to much into it and any site saying this is reaching for readers. The promos for the last few episodes always say "watch the final/ last four episodes til the season finale".
she doesn't give a crap... and even if her daughter was there... she'd be manipulating her as well.. and then blaming the girl for not having herself together
Unfortunately the promo just basically confirmed that this will be the final season. I'm going to miss this show, I've been with since the very beginning.
the other thing I realize as I was watching was that, in addition to remembering Emily's journey, it was nice to see that Victoria wasn't as innocent as she claimed.
It was fucking awesome!!!!! Sorry for my language but it was perfection. All those flashbacks were amazing, emily looked great, good acting, season 1 vibe, season 1 music! I am in heaven and that promo!!!

Looks like we're gonna have a series finale, and that is amazing news! A fifth season, even shortened, would probably be a disaster. This episode perfectly set the tone for the last 4 episodes, and I'm pretty sure that everything we saw in the flashback will come to play a part in the last episodes. This series deserves to end with a bang!
You have to let this show go, the story is basically finished. It's best for it to finish on a good note than have a fifth season that will have nothing to do with the spirit of the show.
Don't forget the ratings and the fact that they are bringing back a lot of characters for the last episodes. And the story that seems to lead to a series finale. And the fact that a fifth season would probably destroy this great season. I really don't see how they can go on for one more season (even a shortened one) without screwing up the show.
I'm not saying goodbye yet. In my mind there is lots of story left to tell in s5 if given a chance-I have total faith in these writers, directors and actors to pull off a great new twist. anyone that can make a flashback episode this good deserves a chance to do an s5. My guess, something will happen to Amanda and friends/david at the end of s4 (jail time, someone gets killed?) to force them to take revenge -and of course defend themselves from a new enemy maybe? My point is, a show with this many twists-anything can happen. Just because emily Clark is gone doesn't mean amanda Clark has to stop fighting.
Awwwh, you're gonna make me cry I am probably the most die-hard loyal fan out there. Even when I find myself shaking my head with disbelief at times when they jump one shark too many, I will stay with the show till the very end...for the final showdown between Emily and Victoria. And then rewatch the series from the beginning, like constantly, lol.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Easy the better eps of the season
ReplyDeleteThis is what this season should have focused on not all the things they did.
God those S1 clips reminded me how perfect S1 was!
Based off the promo it looks like the end
ReplyDeleteyes.... i'm so sad :(
ReplyDeleteTHE PROMO SAID BE THERE FOR THE FINAL 4 EPISODES I'M CRYING WTF WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME ABC I'M NOT READYYY!
ReplyDeleteWell guys I guess this is the end, I'm not ready to say goodbye to the show. :(
ReplyDeleteOne of the best of the season.
ReplyDeletehttps://youtu.be/MTzbL7r-q7c the next episode must be THE BEST! (Unfortunately seems to be the last season)
ReplyDeleteFor a clip/hybrid episode, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleased. I do hate that Margaux once again flip-flopped. Louise is going to get bitch slapped, and Victoria, though I feel bad for her, she needs to make peace with her sins and stop trying to crucify Emily/Amanda for everything.
ReplyDeletehard to feel sympathy for Victoria though. I mean sure Emily is no saint and is just as guilty, but Victoria seems to forget that she deserved it all.
ReplyDeleteThe issue with this show is that they do not know what to do with Victoria unless she is having a disagreement with Emily/Other. THey dont. She is almost directionless now that basically her whole'family' is gone.
ReplyDeleteDid they say it in the promo or so?! I have not watched it yet of course
ReplyDeleteAt least they are promoting it :) sth i have been wanting since i knew These would be the last episodes
ReplyDeleteYes, it is out there, the end is near. It said in the promo "the war between Emily and Victoria will end, be there for the final four episodes". I think it says it all.
ReplyDeleteI know it will end :( however they could mean of the season if you think about it
ReplyDeleteWell i will miss it, no doubt. At least it is getting closure and abc is actually promoting it to be the finale episodes. I will truely miss the show though😢 bring it on though!!!!

ReplyDeleteHer daughter is still alive in rehab right, she's to busy manipulating Louse and Margaux to be thinking of her.
ReplyDeleteWas it Conrad in the end?
ReplyDeleteIt said final 4 episodes, but I don't know if there the final of the series or season.
ReplyDeleteExcuse my language, but how the fuck did Revenge pulled off a clip episode?!

ReplyDeleteBeyond Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThere is also Patrick, who basically dosnt get brought up anymore because they want to keep him as the wild card.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the old Clip Episode trope. I kept checking to see if it was labeled series finale in the schedule. Seems like odds are high that the show will be canceled. ReplyDeleteyeah, feels like Emily's identity should have been revealed at the beginning of the season.
ReplyDeleteIt was a solid episode, I'm not wowed like almost everyone here.
ReplyDeleteLoved Victoria's line about Amanda digging a grave for her especially with the upcoming season finale title.

ReplyDeleteThe thing is that they left out "until the season finale" so it sounds a bit like the show is ending
ReplyDeleteshe doesn't give a crap... and even if her daughter was there... she'd be manipulating her as well.. and then blaming the girl for not having herself together
ReplyDeleteNow, you know I'm late I didn't even know she had another son, I only knew about precious Daniel Thanks for that:)
ReplyDeleteI agree totatlly:)
ReplyDeleteHe's in the beginning of season 3
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, I feel caught up know, even more reason I hope for another season:)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the promo just basically confirmed that this will be the final season. I'm going to miss this show, I've been with since the very beginning.

ReplyDeleteClip show. Boring. And why is Nolan's wife (I can't think of her name) pissed? It is an arranged marriage with no obligations. Stupid.
ReplyDeleteThen, I really feel your pain!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was Charlotte on the final scene?
ReplyDeleteSomeone started a Revenge season 5 petition, please sign if you want the show to continue on for at least a short final season.

ReplyDeleteI WISH! I FREAKING WISH. But he loves Emily lol.
ReplyDeletekinda a blink and you miss it. I think they just wanted to get Justin Hartley on their show whilst they could.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing!
