  1. Great episode, I really enjoyed this one. It was a bit of a delve into the characters darker sides which threw up some interesting points and has really driven the story forward to the finale in a couple of weeks time.

Poor Jim, what a nasty way to go. I really felt for Jinny as she was putting the tally marks up on the out building wall as I knew what was coming. As for that sneaky Keren taking advantage of Dwight when he's down, she's a right piece of work - yes, I know it takes two to tango, but she's the one pushing the situation to happen.

Francis did well to walk away from the card game when he did, I was kind of proud of him in that moment. The following argument with Blamey and his sister, however, was not quite so worthy of praise. I can see why he is wary of the relationship, but he should get to know the Captain and at least see if/how he has changed since the incident with his previous wife rather than being so obtuse imo. Though I do understand how reputation was everything back then, it's not like he hasn't ruined the family name already....

  2. Is it bad that I got a rush of satisfaction seeing Francis out in the field. #evillaugh
Glad they didn't feel the need for a gratuitous topless scene at that moment. #keepyourshirton
Demelza continues to shine, especially in the backhand to that snooty bitch whats her face. #gingerlove
Elizabeth showed a little backbone this week with Francis and his strange. #stillboring
