Great ep all around, loved it from start to finish. The story was very good, and all the added stuff like Lowell temporarily being gay, and Liv going maternal on everyone. I liked the ending with the rats, too. There was a very good mix of lightheartedness and mystery to this ep.
I didn't think it was that bad, though I'm not terrified of rats like some people are (mostly just grossed out by what diseases I imagine could be on wild ones and I would not want to wake up with one in my bed).
Though this scene was freaky and eerie/foreboding.
I'm just glad the zombie rat was only on screen. ha
I'm glad they acknowledged that Liv being allowed in the interrogation room is not common procedure. I also really liked those family scenes with Liv her mum and her her brother. They've been very "meh" characters, but I found they rounded them up as a family more. Liv being high on mommy instincts I guess helped with that. So question I didn't really manage to follow one specific bit: did the Lt claim the bodies they found on the kidnappers' property belong to the missing teenagers? Like has Blaine been using the place as a graveyard for the bodies, or was it used as a cover up and that's why the Lt killed the kidnappers? Major's in trouble... I get him being invested but he needs to think things through a bit more.
Also Clive had some excellent lines this week! "FYI if you're waiting to bust a coke den, it's better if you're not riding a sugar high and covered in white powder."
The Lowell storyline was "meh" ish... weakest part of the episode, but it had its moments. Also it was nice to see Ravi and Lowell interact.
Well there goes the control group.... Ravi really should have kept the cages more separated. Did you catch which was the zombie rat? But yay! For them mentioning both Utopium and Max Ragner drinks. I'm glad I didn't misread that clue!
Yes? I probably didn´t notice. In which episode was the first mention of him a zombie? I would like watch it again, I might have skip something important in that episode :/ thanks
1. I understand that Major is desperate for answers but he was acting pretty foolish in this episode. Breaking into someone's car in the middle of the day isn't really the way to go. 2. I really liked that Lowell was temporarily gay as it forced them to spend time together and bond as friends. Not only was it fun watching them but it also strenghtened their relationship. 3. It was also nice having Liv be more appreciative of her family, though she was more Granny Liv than Maternal Liv. Also, Ravi trying to get sandwich out of Liv was funny. One should never pass up a chance to get a free sandwich.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletei covered my eyes during that rat scene because i was scared of what it was, but was it DISGUSTING?
ReplyDeleteLMAO i can't believe Lowell ate a gay brain that's hilarious and Liv being maternal was so funny!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't bad, the way they did the scene.
ReplyDeleteThe ending was so disturbing.

The new British guy makes the show much more fun, and Chief is zombie? I was so not expecting that! Greate ep!
ReplyDeleteso they didn't go full TV-MA?
ReplyDeletewe knew the Lt. was a zombie already

ReplyDeletethanks
I think they used ithem as cover-up for the skate park kids. The press was starting to ask questions, so they had to make the case disappear.

Thanks! I got a feeling that was the case too, but it was too much of a throwaway line I wasn't 100% sure.
