    Good episode. The roommate thing was unexpected but the undercover thing was not. A very enjoyable episode though. Not sure iZombie needs that little brother character though.

    Does Liv keep the Kung Fu ability or does she lose it when the brain wears off ? I remember her drawing the back of a car after the artist episode so I'm curious if that was a sign that she keeps some of the abilities she gains.

    Another fun episode!
    The COTW was fun, but nothing overly special other than reintroducing the brother who almost caught her in Z-mode. I'm sure at some point she will come out of the casket to someone...

    I know others have loved Blaine from the start, but he has been just kinda there for me... until this episode! Sautéed Cerveaux anyone? Mmmmm... no! XD

    Seeing the gourmet brain apetit delivery service from the inside of the kitchen was fun. His chef was a nice added touch and I loved seeing he is one (or three) steps ahead of his delivery boys, and has a freeze dried emergency stockpile ready if he needs more. Always buy in bulk! That was brilliant!

    I liked everything except the little brother. Didn't like him, didn't like the casting or the character at all.



    Blaine was great and the restaurant with gourmet brains was fun.

    No she wasn't. She ate the painter's brain in episode 2. The hitman and the car she drew was episode 3.

    I think Rob Thomas said she loses them, but when Clive made a comment about how good her car drawing was, I also couldn't help but think that it was her painting abilities from the week before too.

    T'was very good!
    Zero surprise about Clive having been undercover. In spite of that, the built up of the case was very well done IMO.
    Nice to see more of Blaine. Ruthless zombie, smart business man. Excellent adversary!
    Cute little B storyline with Ravi and Major becoming roommates. A bit contrived? Maybe... but I can see the narrative value of connecting all storylines a bit more.
    I didn't hate the brother. Didn't love him either. He's just there. Regardless Liv needs the family connection so I'm wiling to deal with him in small doses.

    fun ep and liked getting a bit more on Blaine and the background plot in addition to the decent cotw. Got a big kick out of the "I know kung fu" line and Liv getting a chance to throw down on the gangster guy. I got a kick out of the ambitious musclehead zombie minions, (and I wouldn't mind seeing them come back as I couldn't tell if Blaine hinted that his "hired help" could be brought out of the freezer when he needs them.) Liked Ravi and Major bonding, but am on the fence about the little brother as I would've rather have them develop the roommate first, but all in due time I suppose.

    I really don't care for the Major/Liv romance plot. I hated the back and forth on VMars and I really hope that that aspect doesn't ruin this show. Yes I realize that this show is on the CW.
    Blain, he is a true evil genius. That list was at least 30 names long and it seemed as if the names of people were from all over the city. He is so calculating, he has infected people for different reasons, the rich cougar for sex, companionship and money. The dumb meatheads for muscle and the cook to come up with innovative meals.
    2 random questions:
    Did they say that the Asian guy was kung-fu expert?
    Is Blain a Biochemist? How did he change the Utopian to give people zombie qualities?

    It's still early in the show's mythology, maybe there is more to it or something unique to the show compared to the comics...


    She may lose the memories and overpowering attributes that consume her at first bite, but maybe there is some lingering residue of the brain and its attributes left inside Liv?

    - I think they called him a ninja-wannabe, but it may have been more of a stereotype and out down than accurate description of his abilities.... Maybe...
    - It certainly appears Blaine is Agent X and the source of the outbreak. Maybe it's Utopian, maybe it is he himself. I could see him being personally responsible for killing/ zombifying all the people on the party boat.. I do like the idea of a tweaked recipe to have varying effects though!

    I think that's a kink the answer to which they should have committed to from the get go.

    And since this was something that came up two episodes in a row, yet contradicts what the showrunner claimed I think they're still not sure how to proceed on that matter and are being vague about it...



    Personally, indecisiveness like that with respect to canon mythology isn't my favourite thing.

    I'm not a fan of indecisiveness like that either.

    Maybe they have decided what the rules are, but since Liv is still new to experiencing everything they have chosen to let the viewers "learn the rules" as Liv herself learns...



    I'd be okay with that I think as long as at some point they have a definitive answer to the question.

    aaand after this the zombie horde seems like the easier thing to handle...safer, more predictable, real slow and not driving... yeah, yeah i d totally pick the traditional zombie horde as an enemy over the zombie mafia blaine has started; they're terrifying!
