I'm not a big fan of Gotham but this episode was really good. This show has some really good storylines. Bruce and Selina going after the board is very interesting and they have nice chemistry, the serial killer with Barbra is kid've thrilling to watch, Gordon and the department going after the killer is interesting, Penguin getting mad at Falcone and going after him: He really is becoming his character from the comics, and Nygma killing that officer is also sign if him turning into his character from the comics. But why was Fish missing from this episode, especially after the cliffhanger her character was left on
I Know Fish Mooney Does Not return for season 2 but I Can only suspect she will be in the season finale. I love how well the Characters have developed since the first episode and i had my doubts but now not so much. Loved this episode possibly my favorite cast
Selina and Bruce were really cute. I cracked up at the "Everyone is staring at us." "Well I am Bruce Wayne...well I am." Hahaha yeah that was definitely a Bruce thing to say.
Relief sigh. And Nygma makes his first kill. That's all I've been waiting for, and my god was that wait a struggle. He stabs the man 11 times (yes I counted) and yet somehow the man can still blurt out "Riddle Man" ugh really?? (Rolls eyes) if Nygma didn't laugh out of shock the moment I've been waiting for since this craptastic show started would've ruined it. Smh so glad it was salvaged.
Jim and Lee were cute too. I do enjoy them sometimes.
This episode was somewhat interesting. I thinK I enjoyed it more, (or paid attention more) b/c Fish wasn't in it. If she could take Barbara with her by the end of the season, I'd really appreciate it.
I love Milo as The Ogre. I'm sticking with this show because I can tell that it is building and the characters are being nicely developed. We are learning their origins through their backstories. There is going to be a great payoff. Even the kids were stronger tonight. I love the interaction between Bruce and Selina.
Funny (in a disturbing way) how Maroni asked 'what kind of psychopath stabs a man over and over again?' (or something like that) and then Nigma does exactly that, laughing crazy.
On the risk of repeating myself, Selina, Bruce (so cute these two together) and Alfred are the best part of the show. Really the main, if not only reason why I watch at this point. Don't like that they made Selina a killer though. Bruce being Bruce, 'never cross that line' - classic Batman.
I know it's along way off ( we aren't even finished season one yet and Bruce's still only a preteen .... if that ) and we likely would never get to it but I hope "Gotham" doesn't turn Selina into a villain / Bruce's nemesis to quickly but instead follows the comics ( Earth Two ) 'version' of their story/romance with a slow burn.
( Bruce & Selina date, become a item, get engaged, are married, and have a daughter named Helena Wayne who grows up to become the Huntress )
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIn a recent article it mentioned her being in the final episodes factoring into Gordon, Marooni, Falcone, and Penguin story.
ReplyDeleteI still don't care for how they write for Barbara, especially considering we know her fate. They failed at how they introduced her story.

ReplyDeleteSo true. Bruce and Selina was nearly the highlight of the episode.

Good episode.
ReplyDeleteWhat is Barbara's 'fate' ?
