That was PHENOMENAL!! Just gah!! Incredibly AH-MAZING!!! And I'm crying my eyes out right now! These two!! Their chemistry is sooo...awww man it's just so moving!!! Just heart wrenchingly beautiful. I swear these two make the show. Ryan and Joe forever!
And I loved everything about Joe tonight. I loved that Theo even admired him b/c Joe's the mother f*cking man!! That's right. Damn I'm really crying here. I can't believe they did it. They really did it. Like Ryan, I'm in shock. And his last words...I knew it. I said it before he did and it couldn't have been more perfect.
Joe Carroll: "Quote The Raven. Nevermore." Goodbye Joe.
Ryan you were incredible tonight. Your emotional turmoil will only get worse and I want to hold you so badly. I feel your pain. My heart breaks for you it really does. I fear for your future.
That episode should be a synonym in the Dictionary under Perfection. So sad about Joe, but I clearly see the direction of this show. If there is a season 4 Ryan will be a murderer. He's losing it, and hallucinating Joe is leading him down this path to become joe in a way.
I loved this episode because it made me realize how much I will miss character once they are gone. Joe and Ryan are the same person in my opinion it's just Ryan has a cop badge so he can get away with it
i thought the episode was really good, but i'm tired of mike and max doing absolutely nothing. they barely say anything. it's been all ryan this season and while i like ryan, please, please, please, give me some mike and max!
With James Purefoy only being in 6 episodes this season, I wonder if he'll be eligible for guest star billing? I definitely feel he should get a nomination for Best Guest Actor in a Drama at this year's Emmy. He is absolutely brilliant as Joe Carroll. Because of his performance, in a weird strange way, one is fascinated with the relationship/connection between Joe and Ryan. It has become one of the more unique relationships on broadcast TV.
Man this show is smashing it this season. Sublime stuff. Joe isn't going anywhere. As long as Ryan is alive, Joe will be there alongside him in spirit.
1.I'm very upset Joe died. 2.I told you Ryan has darkness inside him just like Joe but you didn't believe me.Next time, you'll know better. 3.I don't like they're prolonging this Tom-Mike-Max melodrama all season long. 4.Theo's sister will be his downfall,Gwen will be Ryan's.
Ya know as much as the signs point to it, I have to disagree. I do not see Ryan turning into Joe. Grieve over Joe's death yes, have him lose it, sure, but to actually have him turn into Joe...that's not an option. Ryan may be a grey character, but he'll never be a true villain.
I love Mike & max together but this Laptop saga has to come out, like NOW! I also agree on Gwen waiting to give him the baby news, now is not the right time!
I never saw it. I mean I guess I was kinda glad for her when he FINALLY got a clue in the season finale and they kissed (Cuz honestly all the signs were there that she was into him. I hate blind guys) but that was it. I guess I could see why people ship em? I'm not against it, but I've never been/am not for it either. They're cutish that's about it. But they don't do anything for me. I'd rather see Max with Mike than see her with Tom though, especially after all he's done, I'm so over it.
This episode is on right now. And i'm watching it. After last night's episode, it is a breath of fresh air to watch him in this. (this was always one of my favorite episodes btw, lol) So i just wanted to share the only clip i could find. You don't have to watch the whole thing as it it edited half way in. (I wanted the whole scene) but it's still funny.
any mike and max fan wants max to be with mike. we've spent two seasons getting to know mike, getting to like mike. we've spent what? two seconds with tom? tom is nothing but a plot contrivance and a poor one at that. nobody cares what happens to tom!
hey shannon. Miss me? I loved this episode. So damn good. They do have amazing chemistry. They bounce off eachother so well, much like Flash and Iris, Ollie and Laurel (season 1) and Felicity and Ray Palmer. Its not forced like Ollie and Felicity which makes it work so well. I wonder if Joe died or there is some twist coming. :P
Hey I've seen you leave comments like this on other post. You seem to follow Shannon around a lot and purposefully make jabs at shows she likes and keep repeatedly doing it just to get a rise out of her. Can you please stop?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I am dead. That was the best thing I have ever seen.

Easily my favorite episode since season 1.

so that son of a bitch was right?! he and Ryan are basically the same person?
ReplyDeleteI loved this episode because it made me realize how much I will miss character once they are gone. Joe and Ryan are the same person in my opinion it's just Ryan has a cop badge so he can get away with it

ReplyDeleteI think that's where they're going, and it excites/scares the hell out of me.

ReplyDeleteGod that is completely HORRIFYING!!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat episode! Kevin Bacon did a supreme performance. Outstanding. Seems like next week will be even better.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work form both Kevin & James-Loved it!
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for you! That's all you have to say??? SAY MORE!
ReplyDeleteTHIS^^ And I swear their relationship has always been the highlight for me in this series. They mesmerize me every time.

ReplyDelete1) Same.
ReplyDelete2) I never denied Ryan didn't have a dark side I said I wouldn't go as far as calling him the "Next Joe." And i still don't.
3) I don't ship Mike and Max so idc. But if you're talking about the whole confession and laptop stuff then i'm very much with you b/c I'm so over it.
4) Knew that was his sister. I like Penny. I like this dynamiC I want to see where it leads. I think Gwen should wait on the baby news.
I love Mike & max together but this Laptop saga has to come out, like NOW!

ReplyDeleteAmazing episode, I knew they couldn't stretch out Joe's death any longer, but if they're keeping him in Ryan's head... to me that's perfection.
