I enjoyed this episode. I'm just glad that they finally caught up to Theo. I was begging for them to get a lead on him. It really sucks that the neighbor (and the wife) had their suspicions, but it was bound to happen. He really was "too perfect" there had to be a flaw. Even throwing off his wife was laying it on a bit thick.
I gotta say I'm really enjoying Ryan's downfall here with Joe. I mean it's so twisted but it makes sense. So much sense. I feel so torn for him this is just downright awful. I mean with Joe it makes perfect sense, (being completely crazy and all) I'll admit I was pretty amped when I saw Joe going to escape. Season 1 flashback!! I was bummed when I noticed it was a dream on Joe's behalf.
When Ryan was interrogating that guy, the "scalp guy" did anyone else get the impression that Ryan WAS embracing that moment just a wee bit? Let me see if I can explain it. Ok like the guy wanted his name linked to Ryan. But Ryan (purposely manipulating) was using methods to find the "Next Joe Carol."...I think Ryan NEEDS a "Joe Carol." Basically that's what I got from that scene even though he was doing it for information.
I think i'll miss Gina, actually i know i will. I felt really bad when she froze up and couldn't bring herself to see if the kids were alive. I'm just glad that's all that happened. I didn't want her to second guess her decision and postpone her retirement just to see her get killed. Glad the kids were alive too. That would've killed me. Now that Ryan and Theo have "met" the fun can begin. I'm looking forward to it.
I really miss the Ryan/Joe interactions, that's my favorite part of this show. And I know hr can't live forever, but I almost wish he got a stay of execution for a while. Then I don't know what they would do but I do miss that aspect of the show. And with that said.. for me the Ryan/Joe stuff saved this episode. I can't I don't enjoy the Theo stuff but its getting boring that he's always a step ahead of the FBI. I donf doubt he's smart but noones that smart, people get caught all the time. Maybe they will do something interesting and he will help free Joe, then Joe can kill him. Lol I know probably not but hey its an idea.
I thought it was a good episode, however I'm really starting to worry they're cramming too much into this season with only 7 episodes left. Whatever happened to Andrew? Will Ryan play a significant role in Joe's execution/potential escape? Where the hell is Mark? Let's not forget Theo's still playing cat & mouse with the group while Max's apartment is still secretly being watched.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThe last few episodes have almost made me forgive them for cancelling Almost Human :)
