WoW. Part 2 was fantastic!!! Cote was every bit as amazing as I expected. That other show lost one great actress and exchanged her for a blonde wilting scowling flower...lol. Very bad move oopsy!!!!
Overrated and wasted. It was one of the worst adaptations of a book I've seen. Ever. I read the book and can only say it's loosely based on the on it. It was such a riveting story and they slashed it very badly into something so bland and not touching. Dialoges were silly, preachy. Research wasn't done correctly (addressing God as Adonai = Lord, Penalty for adultery was stoning to death). It has a bit of a trashy romance Soap opera nobody needed. The writing for the show was done badly, but the actors were the worst. Sam Neil was the only one who did a decent job, although I'm actually used better acting from him. The rest was horrible. I was very interested to see how Cote de Pablo especially would be portraying the role of Shirah. I never seen worse acting before. It all sounded so promising but now after watching it, I think the Hype about her was not worth it. In my opinion she didn't nail anything. When she cried it was horrible and didn't move or touch me in any way. I had problems to stay awake during both parts and the time I spend watching it is wasted. Very disappointed in everything.
The best think Cote de Pablo did was leave NCIS. My word, she is a crap actress. Thought she was above her co-stars, wherein reality they were the ones holding her up. Though I am happy enough if she wants to continue making these "Mini Series" as long as it keeps her away from NCIS.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Much better than the first part! Really missed Cote de Pablo and she killed playing the role of Shirrah.
