    Have to admit I went into this rather skeptical, as I didn't care for the previous spin off. Rather pleasantly surprised. This might work.

    I definitely think this new team gels a little better than the one on "Suspect Behavior" did, and I like the premise better, too-I think the international take on the original series' premise could work. If this spinoff does get picked up, I'll have to see how this team works on their own away from the BAU before deciding whether or not I'd watch the spinoff regularly, like I do the original, but still, not a bad introduction.

    I enjoy it and I like the premise of the new spin off being international the cast has great chemistry plus I love Gary Sinise and they work well with the original team I'll watch the spinoff even though I thought the first spinoff Suspect Behavior was good I think it just didn't find it footing

    I don't know if it's just the Gary Sinise factor, but I believe Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders might actually work in next year's schedule. I don't watch a lot of Criminal Minds but I tend to catch the interesting ones and this one was definitely worth it. Really like the international part of it. Procedurals tend to be a bit too centralized in one place a lot (minus CM, TBL, and CSI Cyber if you count them).


    If I were CBS, I'd give Beyond Borders a series order!

    I too was one of the skeptics when I first heard about this whole international based spin off but this episode was quite the pleasant surprise. I liked how both teams interacted and the storyline was interesting. I'll give the Beyond Borders spin-off a try but the original will always be the best.

    Well, judging by the talk before boarding the jet Morgan & Savannah certainly get engaged in the final episodes and I guess JJ gets pregnant (which thank god wasn't announced in this)
    "Morgan are you married yet?" - (Morgan): "working on it"
    (JJ): "So how old is the baby now?"


    Anyway 2 things:
    1) how is it that Morgan & Garcia keep finding a way to hug/interact but JJ&Garcia pretty much never do? I'm sad. It's obvious the show runner no longer cares for their friendship.


    2) I voted awful. I really, really hate how they kept propping up the new team and went out of their way to show how awesome and talented and smart they are. I really hate the new "perfect" team as a result and this episode for focusing and forcing so much of them in it. I feel my fav. show was hijacked in a way. Didn't enjoy their (flawless, perfect) insight and didn't enjoy their interaction with our current members. *sigh* I hope next week is awesome

    I too was skeptical about this new spin off! I am not a regular CM watcher but i watched some of it! It's funny, how all the new members are happily ever after ;-) already! Well, i guess trouble will come inevitable!
    I kinda like the new team, the guy from csi for sure makes a good leaderl (i've never watched csi) and i like henney since he played adam's brother on H5o, but i didn't connect with the blonde woman!
    But i def give it a try!

    I'm pointing the negative things here, but I didn't dislike everything and it was a fast episode.


    my opinion is, if our team can't improve the new team actions why putting them together in first place? I get it, this was a pilot in disguise, but I hate the "I make you look bad so others can look better" strategy, it's pointless and cheapy. I guess is a lot harder make them all awesome at the same time.

    I don't like their hacker, but it's been a while since I stopped loving Garcia (the "not appropiate" scene last season was great). Moreover they made me miss Hardison (Leverage) or Job (Banshee).

    Anna Gunn is "audience poison", I am so sorry for the actress but she lacks empathy, there are more actors like that out there, Kim Raver, Marc Blucas... sure everybody can add names. It's not they are bad actors but for some reason you can connect with their characters no matter what they are portraying.

    My best wishes with the new show, but I hope they take good care of the original one.

    I liked some of it and I really like all of the guys on the new team but Anna Gunn just does not fit for me. She seemed so lifeless with no charisma at all.
    Plus, there wasn't enough Reid. I always need to see more Reid.

    I am not an Anna Gunn fan, and this show did nothing to change my mind. She has a very drab personality. I thought I was going to see more of the original team. Reid and Kate were barely in it, I do like Gary Sinise, though, so I'll give it a try. Get a different woman. I agree with another reviewer, Anna Gunn is audience poison.
    Just don't forget about the original. CM is my favorite show on TV.
