I didn't think I would be this sad about Nadia but wow! I loved her journey and the 'Paying it forward' storyline with Erin. Erin is going to go down a dark dark path(as we already know). This crossover was way better than the other one in my opinion.
I'm just disgusted. I'm disgusted with the fact that Nadia was reduced to a plot device. I'm disgusted with how brutally she was tortured. I'm disgusted that her name was smeared in court. I know that SVU is typically like this, but they took a beloved Chicago PD character and made her the victim because what? They want to propel Lindsay down a dark path? I don't think a show has ever left me this sickened.
Extremely disappointed by this crossover. Once again when SVU is involved, the CF connection is incredibly weak at best. I hate that they decided to kill Nadia for dramatic effect after spending over a year developing her - she had SO much more potential and Stella was such a rockstar, and they threw it all away. The worst I think was the fact that she died in NY and when they toasted her at the end, the majority of people there were SVU who didn't even know Nadia... it should have been her Chicago family. Nadia was one of my faves but that entire last hour left me completely flat.
I re-watched it, and it became even worse. SUV was very flat, and for that they killed Nadia? I don't get it, to me they sacrificed Nadia for nothing. I would have been way more interesting for her to pull through this horrible event. What a pity, I loved Nadia, she will be missed.
It's interesting that there is so much outrage over Nadia. She always seemed at best a very minor character to me. I doubt that I'll notice she's gone. On the other hand, it should give us some really good Platt scenes in the next episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm officially done with this show. Such wasted potential with Nadia. Should've learned my lesson from those ridiculous Chicago Fire deaths.
ReplyDeleteKnew Nadia was going to die ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
