I do interviews and write articles for the site in addition to reviewing a number of shows, including Supernatural, Arrow, Agents of Shield, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Forever, Defiance, Bitten, Glee, and a few others! Highlights of this past year include covering San Diego Comic Con as press and a set visit to Bitten. When I'm not writing about television shows, I'm often writing about entertainment and media law in my capacity as a legal scholar. I also work in theatre when the opportunity arises. I'm an avid runner and rider, currently training in dressage.

ReplyDelete- FitzSimmons playing real SHIELD like the damn bosses they are. I cheered so much. Also when Fitz found the real toolbox and his favorite food ever in his backpack created by his best friend in the entire world. My heart exploded :')
- Mike/Deathlok's epic return! For a second I thought it would be Fury (though that would have been so awesome as well) but it was still so unexpected. Hopefully we will see more of him and continue his journey in the future. And I love the upgraded suit!!
- Coulson and Lance bonding and just hiding out in the cabin and waiting for the right moment to steal the Quinjet from SHIELD. So clever when they used holograms to trick the soldiers and have a chance to ICE them.
- The reveal that Jiaying is still alive. Everyone suspected that she never really died but I still smiled so hard when she walked into the room where Skye, Lincoln, and Raina were at. I'm already shaking for the moment when Skye realizes that that's her mother. Hopefully this means that Dichen Lachman will be a series regular because I would love to see her (and Jiaying) on my TV every week.

It's a tie between Deathlok returning (YES! Nice job in keeping that one under wraps, AoS!) and the ending reveal of FitzSimmons' plan. That being said, all of the Coulson/Hunter scenes were impossibly fun and full of great banter (great pairing, there). I just adore Hunter and how Nick Blood delivers those witty lines, with his sexy accent making it even better. Speaking of sexy, everything Lincoln was also pretty cool. Maybe I'm just biased because it's Luke Mitchell, but I've found Lincoln pretty adorable so far. Oh, and Afterlife is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat show was #AfterLife ,FitzJemma /CoulsonHunter/ CoulsonHunterMike and the Bad option Working with Ward and Bobbi who was worried Skyes and Many of other moments of The Show.....Can't wait for The Next Will learn about May ❤️
ReplyDeleteI agree 100% with you. I could pick a single favorite scene. It was like great scene after great scene. And although Gordon is still my favorite, Lincoln is such a cute pie, he won my heart.

ReplyDeleteGonzales scenes were the best and give us a view to his somewhat bigoted attitude towards people on the index or indeed who should he thinks be on it (Coulson).
ReplyDeleteHe seems to conveniently forget it was HYDRA that brought SHIELD low and not any particular gifted person.

ReplyDeleteHe's so dorky and cute, talking about the proper way to microwave popcorn, Pizza Night and saying "The skye's the limit" and then apologizing for the pun :) but yeah, Gordon is the coolest Inhuman so far. The effects on his power are totally badass. I hope we get to see Lincoln let loose with the electricity in an action scene, too.
ReplyDeleteI get where you're coming from. Her not revealing who she is to Skye right away, plus not allowing Cal to see her (I know Cal is crazy and dangerous, but the way she said it just seemed cold), doesn't quite rub me the right way. I hope this gut feeling is wrong, however, because we've had quite enough betrayals and double-crosses on this show lately, and I don't need Skye to be betrayed by her own MOTHER on top of everything. Plus, I think the Inhumans, in general, should be portrayed as a neutral group that just wants to be left alone, which would be in line with the comics as well from what I gather. I don't like the idea of making them evil.

ReplyDeleteIt could be as simple as she may have lost the plot slightly during her dismemberment (which if I remember correctly, Whitehall claimed to have kept her awake during it)

ReplyDeleteTo me the favourite part was when he lifted up Skye. In this season she was mostly either afraid of something or playing badass agent, and I loved her falling back into the young girl who just got some exciting gift from a handsome guy. I can't judge Chloe Bennet's overall talent, but I like how she plays Skye very much.
