The Zelena reveal definitely takes the top spot for me. I also voted for the flashback scene between Robin & Zelena and the end scene.

That scene was creepy in the best way possible. I just hope they won't kill her off again.

ReplyDeleteDef Zelena being back! She was super cool :) I liked her much more than the first time around! And I liked the short Snow, Charming, Emma scene at the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't decide between the Zelena reveal and the final scene with Rumple and Regina. They were both so well done. I do know my least favorite was Robin chooses Marion.
ReplyDeleteWow all I thought about was Poor Robin and Regina played by Zelena... Then it appeared that they all deserved their fate ...! none of them have been straight !
ReplyDeleteScene 1: Robin Hood on horseback chasing a thief through the streets of "Manhattan" epitomizes why Once is my favorite show--the potential it has to be truly just good clean fun. I thought it was one of the most epic scenes of the entire series.
ReplyDeleteI noticed a lot of people are saying they are done with Gold after this episode, but for me this episode actually humanized him.
Scene 2: I really felt Gold was genuine when he was talking to Robin Hood outside of the hospital--I actually thought he was going to tell Robin the truth about Zelena. I guess one could read this scene as Gold manipulating Robin to stay with Marion, but I think it could also be read as Gold telling Robin to find his happy ending, which according to the show right now is Regina and Gold knows this. Most powerfully, Rumple admits his many mistakes in this scene.
Scene 3: I felt like one of the most powerful lines of the episode was when Regina said "she murdered your son" to Rumple at the end.
I felt like this episode far exceeded other attempts to explain where Rumple stands and why. Maybe, I felt this way because Nealfire was referenced so much. The biggest surprise of the episode for me was actually when Gold burst in to Neal's apartment. I didn't expect that would be the way in which Robin and Gold would connect/interact in NYC.
My favorite seen was definitely when Regina said to Rumple 'she killed your son' that was really deep and also when Regina called Robin and Zelena (aka fake Marian) answered. Also I really hope that Regina doesn't give into Rumple about the whole Emma thing...

The best scene was at the end when Regina called Zelena and was forced by Gold to decide.
Zelena's Rumple voice was hilarious. It was the highlight of the whole show which stunk as it was on humongous plothole without explanation. If Zelena never dies then how did Emma get her magic back?
