Definitely not the last scene. It made me sad to watch. Probably Adalind telling Nick about the baby. It was a better scene than I was expecting.

ReplyDeleteFor me the most intense scene was Juliette confronting Nick and Adalind in the police station.

Juliette burning down the trailer-EPIC!
ReplyDeleteFor once I think Adalind really stole most of the scenes in this episode, normally her character drives me up the wall because of she's been treated by the writers, but for once I actually enjoyed her scenes. Adalind telling Nick about her pregnancy was actually one my favorite scenes in this episode, I was pleasantly surprised. Also really loved seeing how Prince Kenneth double-played Adalind and Juliette to pit them against each other and Nick, the guy definitely has his end game in place. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that he's not being entirely transparent his agenda with baby Diana. After all, if you can get what you want and find a way to make all your enemies kill each other, it really is the perfect plan.

There were quite a few intense, well done, and wonderfully performed scenes. but in picking my favorite I had to go with Monroe's talk to the teens. It was just him.

ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that Troubel has access to the other old guy's books and stuff. Then I remembered he'd already given that to Nick. So that's gone too. But Nick's mom seems to do okay...though she appears to have been taught a lot but...there's hope. :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved the exchange between Adalind and Nick, which was only made better by Renard's reaction to the whole situation, The entire scene was perfect. Nick telling Adalind that a dead Hexenbiest shouldn't be too hard to get was also hilarious and then I loved the moment when Adalind gets him to feel the baby kicking. All three actors did a terrific job.

ReplyDeleteI picture the entire team standing around, frantically touching their noses and yelling "not it!"
Nick, Adalind, and Renard at the station was the best. Not only was that sequence great from beginning to end but it also opens up an entirely new and amusing line of storytelling if Grimm doesn't waste the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteMy runner-up scene was Juliette with Kenneth when he bailed her out. That was a well-done, well-acted scene.
Although it doesn't have anything to do with a favorite scene, I also wanted to say that while I hate that the trailer and its contents were destroyed, I'm okay with it. The trailer was cool but it was also a crutch. I now feel the same way about the spice shop as well. Too often the answer to everything seems to be whipping up some concoction at the spice shop. Grimm needs to ease up on that.
I know the last scene isn't one of the favorites by the majority, but I choose it for the simple fact it's going down as the most lasting scene for the implication as to what it's going to unravel, it certainly broke my heart to see those 100 year old books burning but, it also served to remind us that Juliette has definetly reached the point of no return having done something as outrageous as that she is embracing evil and hurt to a whole new level, is there coming back from something so heinous I hope the writers don't let us down.

ReplyDeleteIt would have been the perfect job for Trubel while she was staying with them....and it would have benefited both of them.
