Barry reveals he is The Flash to Eddie. It is risky but it gives him the chance to be something other then the angry lied to d-bag he would have been in season 6.
I don't know much about the comic version of The Flash but I heard about the Thawne, Allen feud and I am not saying that should not happen or is not about to happen but...
Did you watch Smallville?
I did and I knew Clark and Lex were destined to be mortal enemy's/arch rivals but it stil bothers me that they never gave Lex the chance to be a trustworthy guy, to be a good friend instead of a power hungy fiend and still in the end it was a clone of Lex that became the Nemesis. So why not give him the chance to F*ck it up or rise above expectations.
That is why I loved Barry telling Eddie. It can go wrong (insert Iris(that is maybe a bit mean) ) Eddie could stil be a D-bag in season 6 but he will have had the chance to make his own choices.
Sorry for my ranting but the fact that Lex never got a chance has been boiling up in me for 4 years.

Caitlin hugging Barry and Henry
ReplyDeleteVoted that opening sequence. Aw man, I couldn't get enough of that.
ReplyDeleteOther for me would be Barry revealing himself to Henry.
lot of great scenes in this one actually. Wells teaching Barry to phase, the Eobard/Wells flashbacks, I am your father - I can't choose.
ReplyDeleteThe old trickster telling the young trickster "I am your father" :D
ReplyDeleteFlash and Iris at Jitters
ReplyDeleteThis episode had great scenes but I really liked the face swap of Eobard/Wells and when Barry reveals himself to Eddie. :)
ReplyDeleteBarry unmasking in front of Henry was the best scene for me. So touching and full of love. I love Barry/Henry scenes.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene was Joe and Barry visiting the original Trickster. Mark Hamill was bloody brilliant.
ReplyDeleteAll of the flashback scenes featuring the real Wells and his wife Tess. Great episode!

He's still probably going to be that. He's the Thawne who will start the feud between their families. And possibly a future version of Zoom.
ReplyDeleteHmm every Barry and Henry bit. The Speed Force, phasing bit (smile on my face the entire time), and any scene with Mark.
