    My thought exactly. POI numbers hasn't had stellar numbers this season; in fact 4.19 hit a new low! I also don't think that has much to do with the absence of the Carter character; imo, the writing and stories have simply been subpar compared to prior seasons. And once a series is off the viewers menu, it's hard to get them back.

    But it will only be a cat bounce if 4.20 gets better numbers. Which does not bode well for the show.

    The promo focuses on Reese but I still feel that we will get some mythology arc with Finch and/or Root. But if it doesn't happen and we don't delve further into the serialized part of the show, I am still going to enjoy Carter's return in flashbacks. She was/is my favorite POI lady.

    I am also interested in seeing Reese's frame of mind in this one. On one hand he is looking to form new habits and is taking some steps towards that (ex: relationship with Iris) but as we saw in E19, he is also resigned to the fact that he may die soon at some point due to their war against Samaritan.
