Best: Root and Harold. Second: Reese & Shaw aka The Mayhem Twins. Third: Root & Reese aka R&R. Fourth: Reese and Carter. Fifth: Shaw and Fusco.
*Shoot is altogether a separate and awesome category.*

Interesting pics. Root and Harold together in a room. Maybe things have thawed down a little or maybe the mission is too important to accommodate hurt feelings and past grievances.
From a storytelling point of view it would seem weird if they are best buddies again after Finch said those words in the last ep. Maybe they are not really on good terms though and they are just working together because (like you said in your other post) the mission is too important. Judging from the pictures it looks like they are in the safe house though which mostly means that they are in a more relaxed state.
Technically, Reese left Finch in Aletheia, but they got back together by the end of 4C. Probably even lesser time. Not that much a stretch, if you think about it. Especially, since their not soul-siblings or something.
had to remember the title of which one you were talking about. You must be talking about Ep.20 titled Terra Incognita. The writers are keeping that one under wraps a lot plus its getting screened at the upcoming Payley center event they are holding which means we will most likely get an advanced preview/spoiler based post before it airs which is the week after next week. many are wondering about that one. we will have to wait. i feel like they re about to make our heads bust from awesomeness with these last four.
Person of Interest just got f*cked over again. Wingman repeat has gotten the axe over a new CSI: Cyber episode on April 21. That pretty much means episode 21 will be below 1.5. Why can't they F over Elementary for once?!
Revised predictions
4/7 - 1.2 (new series low) 4/14 - 1.5 4/28 - 1.3 5/5 - 1.6 or 1.7
F*CK!!! I just saw your comment in the ratings thread for today and I immediately let out an expletive. F*ck CBS' hard-on for shitty shows like CSI:Cyber.
Way back, they fucked over POI in favor of Elementary when they moved the latter to the former's time slot on Thursday. IMO, that has also played a huge part in the ratings decline.
Elementary wasn't the issue. CBS has always aired it at 10 PM on Thursdays. The real culprit was that they wanted to extend their comedy block to 2 hours on Thursdays, thereby sending PoI to Tuesdays.
But agreed on the general crappiness of PoI scheduling this year. I really hope CBS sends PoI to Mondays next season and not to a syndication night. If they move PoI to Mondays, it can be free of major interruptions which means higher ratings for PoI and more $$$ for CBS. Tuesdays are the worst for a serialized show with the 2 presidential addresses, VS fashion show, regular December break, January/February/March/April breaks. Mondays has less breaks apart from the regular December break, January/February/March/April breaks and basketball in March/April.
Also, it still amazes me that PoI has retained nearly 50% of its series high with its average this season despite all the breaks. A lot of CBS shows can't crack 40% retention in its current season from its series high which means that a few extra % of people are tuning into PoI regularly.

Root going undercover again in the first picture :DD
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Finch and Root are still in each other's lives despite what happened in the last episode.
My favorite team combinations in POI:
ReplyDeleteBest: Root and Harold.
Second: Reese & Shaw aka The Mayhem Twins.
Third: Root & Reese aka R&R.
Fourth: Reese and Carter.
Fifth: Shaw and Fusco.

We don't know how much time has passed between E18 and E19. And Finch said that he didn't want to see her for a while, not never.
ReplyDelete"Root & Reese aka R&R."
ReplyDeleteaka Team Ski Mask
Martine AND Root with different styles!
ReplyDeleteNo Finch & Reese? :)...
ReplyDeleteFirst photo of the face and Root. maybe she found a clue. for a long time that there was no facial expressions

ReplyDeleteThey're the default setting/template of awesomeness. And no other team can take that away from them. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy is John brooding at the eggroll like it holds all the answers to all the questions in the universe?!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it? O_O
ReplyDeletexD
ReplyDeleteTeam Rocket sounds better actually.

ReplyDeleteAdmittedly, yes, but I like that Team Ski Mask doesn't remind me of anything else.
ReplyDeleteThat's one way to look at it...
ReplyDeleteJohn's gonna devour that eggroll like he shoots people's kneecaps for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteJohn's holding Semtex sticks in shots 2 and 3, if I'm correct.
ReplyDeleteAnd Root. Woman of many talents, and it appears she gets to explore the rarest one in the first shot: Pretend to be straight. :)
I personally love shot number 6. My 2 favorite people, in the sanctuary of what connected them to the world to start with.
We ever going to get Ep. 20 press release?? We want some teasers!!!

SHIT! Why don't they just cancel it, so it can be picked by Netflix already?!
