    Laoghaire set her up by using the letter to get her to Geillis' place. Guilt by association and all that, plus I'm sure she's made up shit about Claire to make her look like she's a witch... Who'd the ignorant townsfolk believe? The Sassenach they don't trust or Mrs. Fitz' niece they've known all her life? It's gonna be interesting...
