Orphan Black - Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis - Advance Preview
25 Apr 2015
Orphan Black Reviews ROOrphan Black will continue its amazing third season next Saturday on BBC America with an all episode titled "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis".
After the epic and terrific season premiere, "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis" will continue to explore the Project Castor storyline with the male clones and its dire consequences on the sisters' lives. We will start to learn a bit more about Rudy and his brothers, where they are from and what they are actually up to. They will remain mysterious and dangerous, but their goal will unfold a bit.
So, yes, it will another great episode of Orphan Black if you had any doubts. This third season is still going on this high quality level, and it's such an enjoyable ride. Also, "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis" is clearly an episode you really don’t wanna miss, especially for the final scenes.
I know some of you Clone Clubers, were afraid the male clones would take too much focus on season 3, and inevitably there would be less time for the seestras. Well, after watching this second episode, I think it’s fair to assume the writers have found a thrilling way to add the male clones without taking away the female ones. In "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis", each female clones will have their own storyline going on, in different ways and the male clones will also their own problem to take care of. Everything will be very fair and well balanced.
Here’s a list of what to expect from "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis" :
- Lots of comebacks ! We all have been missing Paul from the season premiere, well, he’s finally back and even if he’ll keep his shirt on (I know…), he will be even hotter than last year. I have no idea how Dylan Bruce can pull that off but he will. And Paul won’t the only one to return : another man of Sarah’s life will be back : Cal ! We will also see one of Allison’s acquaintance from last season and Beth Childs will come back in a manner of speaking. And, there will be more… (The scorpion will also be back ! Yeah ! I think it’s starting to be my favorite TV pet)
- And there also will be some new comings : two doctors, a male and a female, very different. They will both meet only one of the clones.
- The military has a really weird test for the male clones.
- The corpse in Allison and Donnie’s garage will be mentioned again… Oh oh…
- Felix and Scott will meet for the very first time and let’s just say Felix’s reaction is priceless. God, that man makes me laugh so much.
- We will learn the male clones share a common sign.
- Allison will consider a new job. It’s in a very different area from what she’s used to, but if she is really going to do it, well that promises us some hilarious and great moments. I’m not sure it will help her getting elected for school trustee but it should fix her money problems. #TeamHendrix
- Sarah, Cal and Kiera will spend some family time together. I’m sure it’ll put a huge smile on your face. I really appreciate those light and fun scenes of normal and regular life. It's such a change for our beloved sisters.
- Helena will be put in a very stressful position. It’s not good for a pregnant woman.
- The clones are getting new phones, and they have a new color. Plus, someone will be added to the secret clones phone club.
- The originals of Project Leda and Project Castor will be mentioned several times during"Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis". If you’re wondering if they were really lost as Dyad stated, well you’ll be pleased because someone will ask the very same question. But the next question will be can we trust the answer.
- There will be two meaningful confrontations between two characters. The first one is pure feminine, the other is 100% masculine.
- Someone very dear to Sarah will be in danger, because of one of the Castor clone.
- One character will make a drastic and painful decision.
- Get your tissues ready, because there will be a tearful goodbye in "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis".
- And finally, don’t read this one if you don’t want a major teaser from "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis"…. Are you sure ? Just skip and continue after the photo... Okay, .... There will be a major death. It will be quite shocking and totally unexpected. It won't be like last Thursday on Grey’s, but still, it will be huge.
"Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis" will be really a great and powerful episode. It will set the tone for the upcoming episodes and maybe for the rest of the season. All the different storylines will be expanded and developed rather quickly. I have a feeling things will start to escalate very quickly in the next episodes.
Don't miss "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis" this Saturday 25th April on BBC America. Are you excited about it ? What do you think the male clones are after ? Hit the comments !
And finally, some quotes from "Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis". Try to find out who will say them :
1- "Hard science requires hard choices."
2- "I love you"
3- "Where are these mangoes ?"
4- "That is an opportunity"
5- "No, I get motion sickness"

ReplyDeleteAre you happy about all the returns ? Or more intrigued by the new characters ?
Thanks for this advance preview. I am already excited about it !
ReplyDeleteHere are my thoughts on what you're saying :
- I think it's Felix who will be added to the secret clones phone club.
- An old Alison's acquaintance : I hope it's Vic (Michael Mando), he was very funny last yer.
- Finally, I believe the major death will be Cal. I don't have any valuable arguments, it's a just a feeling.
The male clones really intrigue me. They're very different from the sestras.
Do you know if we'll see the male clone (I forgot his name) who was introduced last year ?
I didn't miss Paul at all. Dylan Bruce is such a limited actor. I don't understand how he was cast for this show.
ReplyDeleteThe death might be Cal. Siobhan would be more qualified as a major death though.
I was worried about the brothers taking too much screen time but they really found the way to include them into the story without taking away from the others. I'm glad they continue that streak.
His name was Mark. And I think he was in the promo with Gracie.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, now it comebacks !
ReplyDeleteI thought about Mrs S too but I think if they wanted to kill her, they would have done it last week.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm just wondering who's death would be considered "major" but not as big as the Grey's one. Obviously it's not one of the Clones, Leda nor Castor. I t could be Paul too. I doubt it will be Felix. I also doubt it's Delphine since she just took over Dyad. Mrs.S death would be big enough but wouldn't ruin the show in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like Mrs S so I'd be a bit upset if she dies. We'll find out tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI loved it the chat between Helena and the scorpion! I'm glad we'll see more of that.
ReplyDelete..."Two doctors, a male and a female, very different. They will both meet only one of the clones". I'm guessing the clone they'll meet is Cosima... or Rachel maybe.
.."There will be a tearful goodbye". I'm clueless. I don't wanna say goodbye to any character :(
Thanks for the preview Romain. The season premiere was outstanding so i'm really looking forward to see what's next.
Romain, I don't suppose it would be possible to give even the tiniest hint about who the main death is? I'm so curious now I feel like I'm dying lol
ReplyDeleteAh ah ah I don't want to give but maybe tomorrow I won't be able to resist the pressure and I might give one tiniest hint... But for now you can guess and pick your choice :)
ReplyDeleteThe scorpion is amazing. Tatiana is so great, I love how she can change her voice and the scorpion's one is one the best.
ReplyDeleteWell for the goodbye, nobody wants to say goodbye but sometimes it's the best thing to do. It doesn't mean it's forever
Agreed. I like her too. I still hope it's Paul LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh mince, that's too bad for Vic.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it would not bother me at all !
ReplyDeleteWell anyone who says that Dylan is not attractive doesn't have eyes in my opinion. He is hot. Not my personal type tbh but he is nice to look at.
ReplyDeleteI remember that one scene in 1x06 where Paul discoveres who "Beth" really is. You just saw two acting abilities going against each other. There was Tatiana Maslany and there was Dylan Bruce. And it was like two different worlds foing against each other
I love Cal too. And it would be an unlikely move to kill him off right now since his character has not been explored. The writers care too much for the characters so they don't kill them off that cheaply. That's why I do think that Siobhan is the fatality
ReplyDeleteWell I get your point but you can't compare anyone to Tatiana... What she is capable to pull in every episodes is simply amazing and extraordinary. I usually watch 2-3 times the episodes and sometimes I just stopped and only focused on her acting skills, how she's capable to be so different and real in each clones characters.
ReplyDeleteBut I understand and agree with you, he's more limited as an actor than many of the others actors on the show
Romain, quick question : if you could not watch the episode earlier than everyone, would you watch it live ? I am asking it because you live in France and so do I.
ReplyDeleteWith all these teases, I am kind of tempted to do it.
If I could, I totally would of course ! I wouldn't miss it. Actually, i'm super glad to have access t the screener especially this week as Sunday is my birthday and I'll start celebrating on Saturday night :)
ReplyDeleteOk, maybe I'll do it then :)
ReplyDeleteI'll wish it when you'll post your review this Sunday, cause you know it's bad luck to do it before someone's bithday.
YAY!!! Paul, and Cal are back. I hope nothing bad happens to Helena and Cosima
ReplyDeleteThanks for the preview! My guess about the death is either: Cal, Mrs. S, Paul, or Donnie! I can't see any of our Leda girls going (except maybe Rachel), because they seem like they are right in the thick if their story lines, but I could def see someone we like who has been close to them going.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping though, that off the list is made, it is not Mrs. S. I feel like we could get so much more from her. Cal would would be sad, but that almost seems to predictable. Paul could try and make up for his previous dealings by helping Helena, only to have Miller (via Dr. Coady's orders) kill him (which would be really sad). Donnie too would be heart wrenching, but I thought I read spoilers from Tvline or EW that Felix will be coming in and helping them both with "capers", so that seems unlikely....
I thought I saw Mark and Gracie in the promo, can you tease us anything about them or if Mark is contact with his bros??
I was so shocked when I saw the episode 3x01 poster of the scorpion and then it appeared in the episode, because I just received Helena's issue of Orphan Black's little comic book series and the scorpion was featured in her issue, talking to Helena behind scenes of season one events!
ReplyDelete(Oh and have you seen 3x02's Poster? I can't wait to see what exactly it means, but I suspect a Paul and Miller showdown from it...)
Is Ksenia Solo in this episode? *fangirling*. I can't wait for seeing her and Tat together (again).
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if Tony will be back?
ReplyDeleteAs long as it's not Delphine saying a tearful goodbye or being killed off, I'm open to surprises!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard anything about his possible return.
ReplyDeleteNo she is not sorry... She'll appear soon enough I hope :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Mrs S is way too important to die so soon... She won't the casualty. Actually,it's a male character who will die :)
I absolutely love your idea about the conscience and body thing, I don't know if OB would do it but it'd be amazing :)
Delphine will be quite busy now sh's running Dyad, she's staying for now :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you will be surprised :)
Thanks for the preview!
ReplyDeleteJust a few hours away! Can't wait!!!
Thanks so much for the hint! XD
ReplyDeleteYa, I don't know if OB would go there, but it would be a fun thing to do once!
The major death was Seth? Good grief! I was thinking it was going to be someone important! I could care less about him! It was surprising that Rudy was the one that killed him. He doesn't love his brothers the way Sarah loves her sisters apparently. I was almost freaking out through the episode because I thought it was going to be Cal and then poor little Kira towards the end! The tearful goodbye was those two which I am very sad about, but at least they're both still alive and hopefully we'll see them again before the the season finishes out. What was the drastic and painful decision? Alison taking over Ramon's job? Overall it was a good episode.
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't seen the poster. Where can I find them ?
ReplyDeleteThanks Romain, I am so relieved !
ReplyDeleteI have not seen the episode yet.
I will get you a link. It's an "Orphan Black Extra" on BBC America's Web Page (turns out this weeks related to the Castor tattoos): http://www.bbcamerica.com/orphan-black/extras/orphan-black-season-3-posters/
