Poor Robin.
ReplyDeleteI guess Ruby won't appear in this season :(
ReplyDeleteThat flashback will be a dream come true
ReplyDeleteCora vows to find Regina her true love. Can't wait to see that happen. Would't be surprised if that was Zelena in the fbs.
ReplyDeleteShould be a really good episode, can't wait cause the last 2 were marvelous.
"Cora vows to help her daughter find true love".
ReplyDeleteCora, what were you up to? That goes against your character completely... You must have been up to something evil.
Cora and the Evil Queen are back, and Lily wants to kills the Charmings. Sounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh gods, this situation is a mess. But Jane's writing it, so it might turn out okay.
ReplyDeleteThat's actually kind of weird. Wasn't Meghan's show cancelled?
ReplyDeletei don't like his storyline but yeah poor dude
ReplyDeleteOh poo, a Jane Espenson episode. Less sense than usual, I guess?
ReplyDeleteBOO! yeah it was, it was a great show
ReplyDeleteCan't wait, really enjoying this season
ReplyDeleteso glad Cora is in the flashback. I was afraid she would return to life.
ReplyDeleteBut of course. We know that she ended back up in Wonderland and Regina didn't want to see her again.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I don't know why everyone is freaking about the Zelina pregnancy. Is it just because they don't want Robin and Regina to be torn a part? I thought it was clever.
ReplyDeleteI think Zelena has robins heart and is forcing him to stay with her. He loves Regina and would not have slept with Marion ( Zelena) unless forced to. I also do not think she is pregent.
ReplyDeleteJane Espenson, YES! she always writes great stories.
ReplyDeleteIngrid Torrance as Severe Nurse is back! Now who the hell is she? Drizella? Anastasia's sister/Cinderella's Stepsister?
ReplyDeleteCora!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think she was ever meant to be anyone, she's just a nod to the evil nurse from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". But maybe they WILL give her a counterpart in this episode, who knows. I doubt she's anyone big since she's a co-star. She's probably just at the hospital when Rumple's health gets worse, but I could be wrong. I just hope she's actually SEVERE for once. :p
ReplyDeleteYou don't like Jane Espenson episodes?? :O She does a great Cora, she wrote 2.16 and 3.18.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping this is the episode in which we finally see how Cora took Henry Sr. to Wonderland with her, leading Regina to go get him (with Jefferson) in 1.17. Seems like the best time to work that in.
ReplyDeleteMaybe in the finale? Seems unlikely though.
ReplyDeleteRobin mistakes his beloved wife with the Wicked witch. He's a man of honor but not a man of reflection...
ReplyDeleteand 1x08 ! and actually, my favorite episodes...
ReplyDeleteJane Espenson + "Mother" title = strong strong story (i hope)
ReplyDeleteI think so too!
ReplyDeleteOf course he would not have slept with Zelena, but he slept certainly
ReplyDeletewith "Marian". He decided to stay with "Marian" in the last episode, b/c
he is a man with a great code/honour, ect. blabla. Seems to me, his
"code" ist stronger than his love for Regina, at least when his wife is
not frozen.... I don't like this character.
Jane Espenson, Cora and the Evil Queen? I get chills just thinking about it. This will be awesome and makes me feel a little bit less disgusted about Zelena.
ReplyDeleteFor me it was probably the first time I was morally invested in the show. I don't know why. I can't get tired of watching Regina ripping hearts out but when it comes to this pregnancy I find it so wrong.
ReplyDeleteand wonderful written "Skin Deep"?
ReplyDeleteI'll often defend the show but the implications of Robin sleeping with someone he did not consent, without knowing is imo morally wrong and not really clever as it makes it look like a bad soap opera. And it's too bad because Sunday's episode and the finale have a very good potential :)
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. Sadly it's just a flashback.
ReplyDeleteI have never found the writer of the episode impacts my propensity to like or dislike an episode. For example, Jane Espenson has written some of my favorite episodes (Fall, Tallahassee, White Out) and she is also responsible for my least favorite episodes of all time (Bleeding Through, Skin Deep, The Miller's Daughter).
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, I don't think the writer actually determines the story of each episode; they just basically write the dialogue and maybe some of the details for the story that a team comes up with. One caveat, is that looking at the episodes that Jane Espenson writes, I noticed she has written all the episodes that cross a line for me content wise. Most distinctly, I always skip "Bleeding Through" upon rewatch because the seance, ghost possession, and iffy Rumple/ Zelena moments cross a line for me. So until I see this new episode, I'll reserve judgement.
Come on Belle! Save Rumple, and break his curse before it's too late!
ReplyDeleteIn a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Cora returns from Wonderland to beg Regina's forgiveness on the anniversary of Daniel's murder.
ReplyDeleteTalk about impeccable timing.
That episode was badly written to the utmost degree, especially since they've had to retcon it so many times. I'm just not into abuse as romance, as much as Jane Espenson loves it.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Jane Espenson has some heavy issues. She's very sexist and racist. The Miller's Daughter was an okay episode because of the acting. 3.18 was terrible though.
ReplyDelete? In what way is she sexist and racist? o.o Please explain, I'm quite curious.
ReplyDeleteShe's garbage. Don't try to find any sense in any of her posts.
ReplyDeleteIn which ways is she not? Please explain, I am quite curious?
