05/11/2015 (10:01PM - 11:00PM) (Monday) : THE NIGHT SHIFT TEAM TREATS VICTIMS OF A MULTI-VEHICLE CAR CRASH - PAUL MAKES A DARING RESCUE AND LATER REGRETS IT - TC AND TOPHER HEAD TO AFGHANISTAN TO HELP AN OLD FRIEND IN NEED - Drew (Brendan Fehr) and Paul (Robert Bailey Jr.) head to the scene of a multi-car collision. Paul takes a chance on a daring rescue and sustains injuries that could jeopardize his dreams to be a surgeon. Back at the ER, the newly-anointed Dr. Ragosa (Freddy Rodriguez) along with Jordan (Jill Flint), Scott (Scott Wolf), Krista (Jeananne Goossen) and Kenny (JR Lemon), manage the deluge of incoming victims. They soon discover the disturbing cause of the accident. Meanwhile, TC (Eoin Macken) and Topher (Ken Leung) head into a war zone to treat an old friend who is in desperate need of sophisticated medical attention. As the danger grows more intense, both TC and Topher reflect on their decision to risk their lives.

When surveillance footage shows that Owen recognized his abductor, Detective Amaro (Danny Pino) works with Dana and her ex-husband Sam (guest star Navid Negahban) to find and arrest the suspect, but tensions between the estranged couple obstructs the investigation. When multiple people are shot inside an athletic club intelligence work to find and take down the shooters before there's any more victims. When they discover that all the targets were from the same law firm it's apparent that it is a case of corporate revenge. Now they need to find out what the motive for these killings. Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) is dealing with his new assignment, while doing so he plays a key role in locating the shooters. ReplyDeleteFigured The Cabal would strike back at Liz by framing her for something. This will need a little Red subterfuge. And I bet Cooper's shocking news is that he was never sick at all - it was a tool to bend him to Connally's directions. As for Grimm - I wonder if the Royals kill Mama Grimm and that is what sets him off. Bet Trubel will be awesome in action next to Nick.

I had always assumed that Liz's mother was really, truly, most surely dead but what if the cliffhanger is that she comes into scene in the last frame of the season - now there is a cliffhanger even I ( hater of all things cliffhangerish) could embrace.
