Jean Grey woke up from a nightmare, maybe is a premonition.
Jean tells everything to Professor Xavier: "I saw the end of the world, there was only death".
We see the young mutants.
Xavier talks with Moira McTaggert, she says that exist a mutant, the first one, he is like a god and he started everything.
We see a caped man, with Psylocke and Storm. The man says his names through the centuries, and than says that he will built a new world made by mutants.
The three meet Magneto who says: "Who the fuck are you?". The misterious man removes the cape from his face: he is Apocalypse.
Xavier very scared says: "He can controll all of us".
We see two sides of mutants, on a side there is Apocalypse, on the other side Xavier. Apocalypse lifts Xavier with his wheelchair.
Jean screams.
Slow motion: Quicksilver in the hallway of Cerebro.
Mystique to Xavier: "I'm back to fight"
Xavier is in Cerebro but his eyes are completely black, maybe he is controlled by Apocalypse. He says: "I've never feel like this before".
Than we see Professor X bald.

Bourne 5, Assassin's Creed, GI Joe 3 (allegedly), DMC (allegedly), Wolverine 3, GoTG2, Thor 3, Justice League, WW, Terminator 6, Lego Batman and Skull Island.

I'm not a movie fanatic, but X-men, Power Rangers and others are for me such ICONIC stuff it marked my childhood. Huge Legacy and huge expectations.(I'm so pissed that the Power Rangers cast wasn't announced yet, I'm afraid they will move it for 2017).

Why did the S Squad hype blow out for U? I think it could be really good and I'm interested in which direction they will go chemistry wise and what relationships they will establish. I just hope they will Will Smith will keep it on a normal level and won't blow it out of proportion like he usually does.
Civil war could be really good! Especially if Iron Man gets his as* kicked (to cocky for me, RDJ should dial it down alot).
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that they deliberately keep the cast announcement back to avoid fans raging all over them for missing any original members (let's be honest here: the only original Ranger that will possibly appear is Tommy, if we're lucky).

Basically because I'm more invested in DCs TV universe than its movie-verse. And since the movie compromised one of my favourite TV shows plots I'm pissy as hell. Plus: I dislike Will Smith ever since After Earth. I grew up on watching Fresh Prince and loved almost everything he was in up until that turd of a movie. It's not about his affiliation to scientology (if it were I would have to hate Tom Cruise as well but I don't, I like his acting and his sci-fi movies are pretty much the only sci-fi movies that are watchable these days). It's Smiths tendency to force his children into his movies.
Smith alone is fine (probably not as Deadshot though, I would've loved to see him played by Javier Bardem) but given him having managed to squash Willow and Jaden into so many movies I remain incredibly afraid of Jaden Smith becoming Robin (I can see that happening)
I love Margot Robbie (not for her acting), Jared Leto (better actor than musician, although I do love 30seconds to mars) and Adewale Akkinuoje-Agbaje but the DCverse has me pretty confused these days simply because its infinitely worse than its TVverse
I can't wait to see Affleck as Batman (especially since I never got why he was so disliked, he's a fine actor. Not good but fine) though
The only thing that has me excited about Suicide Squad is Joe Manganiello potentially playing Deathstroke
X men, Deadpool, Wolverine, SS, Thor .... NeXt year is going to be fun.

Wait you're looking forward to Warcraft? It's based on a mmo. Video games in general don't make for good movies, but that's based off a mmo.
ReplyDeleteactually it's based on a strategy game from the early 90s, the MMO itself is based on that one.
ReplyDeleteI've never touched Warcraft, World of Warcraft (or any MMO for that matter) or any part of that franchise but there's something that will always ring true with video games: they have a lore that many franchises can only dream of.
I've read a few short stories after the movie was announced and given on what its based on I'm hoping for a stupid yet fun fantasy-action flick.
As for the movie comment,I have a soft spot for bad movies. If you embrace the stupidity of the Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat franchise you'll get an all new appreciation for these movies (as in: watch them drunk or in any other substance induced state and you will have the time of your life)
However I have to disagree: Halo - Nightfall and Halo - Forward Unto Dawn were actually pretty good for what they were (web-shows filmed like movies and released for HomeVideo like a movie).
Silent Hill (the first one), Hitman, Prince of Persia and Max Payne are actually quite good as well

ReplyDeleteSo Psylocke is a wanna be Jean Grey or the other way around, I mean strictly power wise. I like Olivia she will be well suited for this role.

I assume Havok will play Cylcops older brother? Would be weird if he is the younger one?

ReplyDeleteThose are really tough hits, but so far I like how they executed the new trilogy. I'm thrilled for this movie and hope it will measure up to Dofp!
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is replaceable in the franchise besides Hugh as Wolverine. I really dread their future plans for the X-men franchise.

ReplyDeleteWell they haven't erased them... right now they're just telling those characters' stories in a different time in their lives... so I get that they can't actually get the original cast back.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's okay by me because If there was one thing I really appreciated about DoFP (and I actually did in fact enjoy that movie as a whole) was that it pretty much restored and vindicated all those characters and the actors playing them (except for Alan Cummings/Nightcrawler & Rebeca/Mystique which I'll concede I am a tad bitter over)
Being melodramatic there bud. They didn't erase them they just used younger actors. Often to great success.

ReplyDeleteI have played WoW, on and off for almost a decade, and one of my favorite memories is being in game with the rest of my guild while someone was reading the lore on voice chat for everyone to hear. Learning about the characters that we were fighting against, their story and motivations, and learning about the characters that we were fighting with...
Also, Blizzard has an hand in the movie. Blizzard is know for their great cinematics and art direction. Also Blizzard is known for the soonTM, which used to translate to "we will release it when it's done and perfect and not a moment sooner", sadly they have been dropping the ball a bit lately, I hope they don't drop the ball with the movie, there are many people waiting for it (WoW has 7+ million players right now, fluctuates between 7-12 million).
