21st December - Breaks opening weekend record
Star Wars: The Force Awakens looks like it beat the dinos after all.
The movie's worldwide opening is now pegged at $528 million, ahead of the record-setting $524.9 million global launch of Jurassic World this summer. Sunday's estimate for Force Awakens was $517 million, including a record-breaking $238 million in North America. Now, the film's domestic launch looks to be right around $247 million.
Walt Disney Co. chairman-CEO Bob Iger revealed the revised estimates Monday morning when speaking to Bloomberg TV. Disney and Lucasfilm will release final numbers later today, and don't be surprised if they come in even higher.
The movie's international haul is being revised unpwards from Sunday's estimate of $279 million to $281 million, the No. 3 opening of all time behind Jurassic World ($316 million) and the final Harry Potter film ($314 million). Force Awakens shattered records in a number of key territories, including the U.K., where it earned nearly $50 million in its first four days.
Force Awakens, unlike Jurassic World, didn't have the advantage of opening day and date in China, where it doesn't open until Jan. 9.

23rd October - Trailer Narrowly Misses One-Day Traffic Record
The force is in full effect for the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” due out in December.
Since its broadcast premiere on “Monday Night Football,” the first official trailer has accumulated an estimated 37 million global YouTube views in its initial 24 hours, less than 1 million behind the film’s second teaser trailer released in April, which still holds the record for the highest YouTube view count of the year.
But the trailer dominated the competition based on Digital Audience Ratings (DAR), which measures other major digital platforms including YouTube. One day post-release, “Star Wars” nearly doubled the cross-platform digital engagement generated by films like “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v Superman,” while also tripling the first teaser trailer back in November.

Note: First link I gave in Link box shows 3 3/4" action figures and Darth Vader is of major significance, given the Kylo Ren info JJ Abrams just gave and the idea that many thought he was dead!!
Here is also another link for Lego sets: It also reveals some more yet to be seen characters, weaponry, and locations! Poe Dameron has a black X-Wing Fighter that was featured in images from this week, but also it is homage to a new toy line Kenner abandoned!

But don’t go hurling your cup of blue milk at the wall just yet. There will be other surprises.
Roughly six months before the Dec. 18 release, the Comic-Con panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the highly secretive film, which was completely locked down to press during production. (It’s still locked down. Lucasfilm and parent company Disney declined requests for comment.)
Director J.J. Abrams, screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy are already confirmed as part of the panel, which will be moderated by Nerdist impresario and Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick.
