MOVIES: Shortlist of Spider-Man Actors Announced

Sony Pictures and Marvel have narrowed down their list of “Spider-Man” contenders to a select group of up-and-coming actors that includes Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James, among others.

    i still wish dylan o'brien was on this list. Teen Wolf might be coming to an end this year, and this would be an AWESOME thing to help get through the stiles withdrawals.

    Out of that list I'd say Timothee Chalamet, he got the looks. He played Coopers son in Interstellar.

    A surprising list. I've only seen Nat Wolff and Liam James in other films; I can see Nat Wolff possibly in the role. I know they were going for a younger Spider-Man, but some of these actors seem TOO young.

    Not a single one of these is anyone I want in the Peter Parker/Spider-Man role.

    At least Liam James and Timothee Chalamet have a few good roles to their name. They're just not right for this...
