The ABC medical drama has enlisted The Mentalist alum Joe Adler, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Adler will recur on the final two episodes of season 11. Details on Adler's character are being kept under wraps, but it would be a safe bet that The Maze Runner actor will play a new intern at Grey Sloan Memorial hospital.

ReplyDeleteSounds like we'll have a significant time-jump in 11x22 that will lead to a new batch of doctors being part of the team in 11x24. Can't say I'm particularly excited because despite Dempsey's exit the cast is still too big.

ReplyDeleteAlso I'd love for Cristina to be Meredith's rock next season but since Sandra Oh won't likely won't want to return full time I hope ABC will be able to workout a deal with her that allows her to work a few days a month to tape her and Meredith's Skype calls during her grieving process.
