So tnow 11x22 of GA is 2 hours long. But it was said to be an hour long per ABC May sweeps press release? Was that a typo, because they can't increase the duration of the episode like that unless the made it a clip show of MerDer and increased the duration.
ReplyDeleteThey're probably expecting big ratings after tonight's episode.
ReplyDeleteABC seems fond of 2 hour eps and back to back eps this season.
ReplyDeleteIs it 11.22 or 11.20 that is two hours?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they just filmed a lot. It doesn't take much more to fill that time.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not another clip show, they've done enough of them this season as it is.
ReplyDeleteLucky my DVR is set to auto record.
ReplyDeleteYes, as far as I can tell, there is an extra hour in here. I think you are right and that they are airing a clip show of MerDer at 8 and the regular episode at 9.
ReplyDeleteI think it is:
- 23/04: GA 11x21 + Scandal 4x20
- 30/04: GA 11x22 + GA 11X23
- 07/05: GA 11X24 + Scandal 4x21
- 14/05: GA 11X25 + Scandal 4x22
Yes, I agree.
ReplyDeleteYes but, they're pretty tight on schedule. According to Grey's Wiki, 11x22 was filmed from March 31 to April 14, 2015 . 11X23 from April 23 till tomorrow, so they have two weeks to film 11x24 in order to air a promo after 11x23. Anyway, I think they'll use lots of clips since I can imagine them taping another hour with this schedule.
ReplyDeleteMore of Grey's is always better, and glad they decided to pair up these TGIT finales. I was disappointed when I read Scandal would be over a week before Grey's.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I would've preferred that ABC decided this change earlier and made How To Save A Life longer. I know it'll be epic.
I really like the flashbacks inserted in this season. I think it is quite fitting.
ReplyDelete11.22. 11.20 aired last week.
ReplyDeleteoh, thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't bode well for McDreamy's fate tonight.
ReplyDeletewhat can be left after killing off Derek. Is there anything left to watch????
ReplyDeleteI don't know what's going on with Grey's but these titles don't sound like they're dealing with a death.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how they're able to add more hours to GA, but they can't get more Scandal....
ReplyDeleteNo, 11.23 airs on May 7th.
ReplyDeleteIf anything Scandal should have less episodes per season.
ReplyDeleteYes but they cant just magic a second hour out of nothing. It had to of already been filmed. Hence why i think the second hour of episode 22 will be what was originaly intended as ep 23. And then the new ep 23 will be what was orginaly ep 24. Then i guess shona is coming up with a new ep for the finale. Makes the most sense to me. So yes what they r calling ep 23 will be on may 7th just wont be the same ep 23 they originally intended.
ReplyDeleteSo basically 25 eps this season. YAY.
ReplyDeleteRight? From the shows I watch they probably haven't done it only on Revenge. OUAT has done it...once or twice this year? Scandal as well, as I recall.
ReplyDeleteTRUE.
ReplyDeleteYep. It should have 15/16 episodes just like How To Get Away With Murder.
ReplyDeleteHas it been confirmed yet if there is a season 12 for GA?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like grey anatomy is headed for an emotional 2hours long farewell to derek...
