    I'm not ready for this at all. And the song's stuck in my head and I'm sad.

    What is Meredith throwing away? I'm convinced that Shonda brought up the idea of Shepherd Baby #3 because she's going to find out she's pregnant again after this. I can feel it.

    I am really hoping Cristina returns in the next episode and they kept Sandra returning under wraps because the is no way Cristina wouldn't be there for Derek's funeral.

    Intily he signed a contract for up until season 12 he was getting bored and wanted to go back to car racing but I feel like he could of cheated or slept around that way he always had the opportunity to come back and I'm hurt but than he also suffers from dyslexi

    Grey's hasn't been renewed for season 12 yet and I can't believe I'm saying this but I hope this is the last episode. Derek dying was just too much for me. It won't be the same without him and whether this is the last episode or not, I'm done watching. I can't imagine it being interesting without MerDer. They are the only reason I've watched for 10 years. I love the idea of Amelia and Owen though, but not worth watching an hour of tv. Guess I'll just have to youtube search them... and while I'm there might as well watch some old MerDer videos.

    I've always hated Derek so makes no difference to me... And people who claim to only watch for him and Mer obviously stuck around through all those episodes in which he was absent so give it a rest... It's sad that it took 11 seasons to build this relationship and it ends so suddenly/tragically but that is life... This episode has shown how much Mer has grown as a doctor and she handled it quite well... I'm sure she will be distraught next episode and show her humanity but the way she acted is part of being a doctor

    It's not even the finale - there are two weeks left after the next episode. And it certainly won't be the last season; if they planned on ending it, Derek wouldn't die. This is to open up new stories for Meredith

    Your fine with Derek's death and that's great but there are people here who feel differently,and they are hurting right now. How about you 'Give it a rest' and respect their feelings.

    Personally i don't see what Patrick not being in every episode has to do with anything, and why it makes his death less important or have less of an impact.

    I believe that Derek all family should show up. All sister and his mother. But I don't think Kate Walsh will show up, she don't show at Mark's goodbye. In the other hand Private was on air, so we could see Addison 's reaction. But I think the next season will be 13 episodes for a one last season. And I think Sandra Oh will not show too, maybe next season for Meredith, like maybe Kate W will play Addison for Amelia (Addisn was more like Amelia's sister on past than Derek was her brother). But for now, Meredith will be back on her dark, and freaking out, and Amelia will go to Owen's arms.

    Addie as well Any of them not being there would be 100% bullshit and I would rather them skip the funeral altogether and do a small time jump (a week or so) than do the funeral without them there. It would just be character assassination.

    They were wise enough not to show Mark's funeral so we can assume that Addie was there and that we just didn't see it. And they still had us see Addison morning in Private Practice.

    Sandra is a must. I love Kate, but it's doubtful. But both Shonda and Sandra said that she'll return occasionally, that the door is left open...So I guess this is the perfect opportunity for it...I mean, come on -- if Mer will say that Cristina was busy (and I know she will if she won't show up, 'cause we got a lot of references to her this season) then I'll be seriously pissed. She must be there for her.

    I find it interesting that last night's promo suggested that the hospital had never experienced a loss this deep when they had to deal with 007 getting hit by a bus and killed. Then there's Mark Sloan and Lexie who died from injuries sustained by the plane crash.

    I cant believe she had to go through all of it on her own. Couldnt she have called someone? Somehow it didnt feel as dramatic as i would have expected. Meredith is usually so emotional, i was wondering when she would collapse and cry her heart out. I guess the mother in her took over since she had to watch out for her poor kids. And of course she will be pregnant, why bring it on table if not. I also totally agree that it would totally be right for Cristina and Addison to come, for the funeral at least. After all now Mer is all by herself. The only family she has left are her kids and a sister she barely knows...

    I don't get why people think their opinion matters about how any one chooses to mourn a character they loved......it broke my heart to watch Derek die like that, so unnecessary because of a bad judgment call from those incompetent dr's at that hospital......we all have our favs and not so favs, like I just can't stand Meredith but I wouldn't bash anyone who liked her.......

    This episode was just the WORST!! But correct me if I'm wrong.....didn't we hear over and over that this hospital WASN'T a trauma hospital??? Well, ummm, the kid that caused this who freaking mess seemed to be in worse shape than Derek YET they stabilized him WITHOUT the ONLY neurosurgeon on staff who was out to dinner and showed up 1 hour and a half AFTER he was paged to tend to Derek! So they only have 1 neurosurgeon in that whole entire hospital?? Just stupid, stupid, stupid and very disrespectful to Derek Shepherd's i'm still mad 4 days later......Shonda Rhimes has lost her mind! Heck i'm still mad that McSteamy (Mark) died now McDreamy.....i see a pattern here with Shonda, maybe she has something against hot, sexy men!!!
