John Noble has landed a guest-starring role in the upcoming season finale of Forever. Noble will play Aubrey Griffin, the world’s foremost expert of antiquities and adventure. Through his numbers books, Griffin is seen by the contemporaries as a mythological mix of Indiana Jones and James Bond. Despite his tales of travel and history, few know that he is confined to a wheelchair—his life is limited to the safe confines of his affluent Central Park West apartment.

*series* finale. Great that I will see JN, I liked him in Sleepy Hollow.
ReplyDeletehope it is season, not series finale... F*ck them if they don't give Forever a chance
ReplyDeleteI hope too, but I sadly think ABC wont give it.
ReplyDeleteWALTER!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, let's hope they end the show on a satisfying note
ReplyDeleteHope Forever gets another season.
ReplyDeleteJohn Noble on ABC. I've always wanted to see him on OUAT with LP and JMo. He'd be a great villain for 11 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI've given up hope, it's one of the most charming shows I've ever seen but the ratings are so so darn bad that I don't dare to hope
ReplyDeleteYou are exactly right -- it is charming , well cast, and so delightful to watch and has a large ( historical) repository of story material to tap into if given the chance.
ReplyDeleteI liked him in SH too.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not a series finale as well.
ReplyDeleteits such a bland I was surprised it got a full order, other shows must have been truly dismal, not surprised if it doesn't get renewed.
ReplyDeleteJohn Noble's episode involves a cursed Roman dagger - could this be the dagger that originally killed and cursed "Adam" ?
ReplyDeleteWhat would you classify giving it a full season when the ratings clearly didn't warrant it, if not giving it a chance? They gave it one, it just didn't live up to it.
ReplyDeleteBland occasionally has its place amidst other overwrought scenarios.
ReplyDeletelets hope not
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehow do you know? and Adam said he's never found the dagger but maybe Noble's character has it hidden
ReplyDeleteHow? Read the article!
ReplyDeleteTVLINE reported that the John Noble episode involves an ancient cursed Roman dagger. I have no way of knowing if it involves Adam or not but it would be a stretch to think it does not since Adam was originally killed by a Roman dagger.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I feel it'll be a cliffhanger...
ReplyDeleteWell I say! Despite the bad ratings, Forever has managed to book quite an impressive list of guest actors...
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that does show some hope and faith from ABC?... though I doubt it...
Sounds like an interesting character and an interesting mytharc heavy episode to end the season with. I just hope it's not left off in a terrible cliffhanger and we do get some resolution.
(My money is on "cliffhanger" however, I'm sad to say...)
ah my bad LOL, i was actually kind of hoping he was Adam's "Abe"
ReplyDeleteSad but very true. ABC did more than could be expected. It just didn't catch on with enough people.
ReplyDeleteNice way to end. John Noble always adds to any show he's on.
ReplyDeleteI liked him better in Fringe, btu his Sleepy Hollow reveal in season 1 was epic.
